Be very careful when making reservation on Comwell Portside own website! I am completely convinced that I booked room without breakfast including cancellation free of charge. But their reservation system registered another option and charged my account (4 nights). I soon noticed what happened, but they refused to believe that this was not the option which I choose and refused to make correction. They just said you booked no-refundable option so we cannot help you. I never order breakfast in advance when travelling and never make no-refundable booking when my planned trip is far in the future (this time 6 weeks). But even in the case it was customers´ mistake, hotel with good reputation handles this kind of issue with understanding and positive attitude. They said they can cancel the reservation, but they will keep money. I am not going to open their door (there is still one month time to check-in date, enough to find other accommodation or decide to sleep on the floor in my daughters´ temporary home). I also advise our friends and relatives who will visit Copenhagen (my daughter´s family will be moving there), not to accommodate in this place. This is not the way how respectable hotel takes care of customers relations.

An excellent hotel in a great location, modern and spacious rooms with very polite staff. I love this hotel and will definitely be returning in the near future. Me and my partner booked a “superior room” and were greeted with a very nice corner room which had beautiful large windows that had some great views. The room comes with a nice large TV, a desk, a queen sized bed, very comfy bedding, a safe, a hairdryer, an ironing board and iron and a reasonably sized wardrobe and clothing rail. The bathroom for me was the best part about this room with underfloor tile heating, a smart toilet that opens when you enter the room, a very large and comfortable bath, as well as a large shower with a rainfall head and a large sink that has drinking water. The hotel staff were very kind in changing over our sheets and towels several times during our stay and even left us a happy birthday note as it was my partner’s birthday (a very nice touch). The only negatives to the room is that it can become very hot at times, and the lowest setting on the air conditioning unit was 18, meaning it was hard to cool the room down. Also, construction outside can be very loud and wake you up at early hours of the morning, which did upset me slightly. Downstairs the great features of the hotel continue. The hotel has a gym, an outside courtyard, plenty of seating areas and working space, a bar, a restaurant, toilets, an underground car park, and a luggage room for storing your suitcases. The restaurant and bar is a bit on the expensive side and I did avoid eating and drinking here. As a whole, this hotel is great for travelling couples and for people on business with a metro station outside and some amazing facilities that can ensure you have a great stay.

The room was bought online for £190+ but was tiny, smaller than expected. I was told at reception that a higher room might be worth an upgrade because of various noisy Friday night corporate parties. I couldn’t afford more and wasn’t offered a comp. I checked the room rate that night and it was just £130. So a sour note given the price I paid, what I could’ve, the lack of an upgrade (they had space), and the titchy size of the room. Beds and bedding are very comfortable, shower too small to accommodate the swing door without soaking yourself or the room. Temperature control is remarkably old school given it’s a new build. The location is great for where I had meetings but there’s nothing nearby. The hotel bar menu is good. The burger brilliant. The staff are charming and a credit to the hotel, food and drink good. But for the prices being charged the room needs to rise to par.

I stayed at Comwell Copenhagen Portside during a trip to Denmark in December 2022, having a positive experience at the hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly during the check-in and check-out process. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and nice waterfall shower. It was reasonably priced. Standard rooms were slightly small for two people and did appear to be slightly tilted towards single business travellers, with minor things such as the bathroom door not having a lock and a slim corridor between the room door and the beds. Overall though, it did not feel excessively cramped and there was enough space for us to have some downtime. The hotel is outside the main centre of Copenhagen, but the metro system reliably got us into the city centre in about ten minutes. Alternatively, walking takes about one hour. The metro station is literally a minute's walk from the hotel. As it is close to the coast and exposed to the sea, it felt slightly colder than in the centre. Overall, it is a nice hotel at a decent price which I'd happily stay at again.

Moderate Priced Luxury I arranged the booking directly with the hotel via email. I advised that we would be arriving at 10pm and they confirmed that our late arrival would be expected. We arrived to a warm greeting in the large/polished. modern lobby. It then became apparent that I had been booked into a Double rather than the Quadruple room that I had intended. The concierge checked and confirmed that no Quadruple rooms were available but they could provide an additional bed in the room FoC; he also advised that this would reduce the amount of floor space in the room. We acknowledged this and agreed. By the time we made it to the room, the bed was already in place, fully made with additional towels provided. On our way to the room we noticed that the hotel bar stocked a very nice array of snacks, so we grabbed some of those and went to the room, The bar staff were also similarly warm/friendly and accommodating. The room was large so was still fine to get around with the extra bed. Everything was spotless and in great condition. The beds were comfortable, hotel quiet and we had a great night of sleep all around. We had booked breakfast with our rate and this was also very good. There was a wide variety of items on offer in a buffet style and all the food was delicious and though a busy breakfast service, you never needed to queue. We checked out that day and left our bags with the front desk while we explored Copenhagen. The Metro station is a 4 minute walk away - so the transport links are excellent. Thank you Comwell Portside Dolce for an incredibly comfortable and welcoming stay and we would not hesitate to stay with you again.

Nice building, but rooms are pretty dark. At least on second and third floor. Room is super tiny. Bed is WAY too soft. It’s basically a mattress top on a boxspring base (very typical in Denmark). No nice think mattress. The publish the double room as if there are rooms with a bathtub, but when you request it, they tell you that is only in the executive suite. Pretty lame they don’t have correct info on their own website. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Duvets we’re great.

We stayed in Comwell CPH Portside Dolce in mid October, for 3 nights, during a business trip. It's a new (2-3 year old) hotel with a modern exterior design, based on the simple cubic forms of the contemporary Danish architecture. It is built in a rather new neighborhood, the "Docks", which is very quiet and modern, still under construction in many places. The metro station is outside the hotel and it takes less than 10 min to the city centre, with very frequent trains. The interior design follows the same rules, still modern and simple, quite calming, friendly and beautiful, I must admit. The hotel runs in a very sustainable way, for example it is bottle-free and plastic-free: the beer is served only in glass, there are no bottles. Even the dry nuts or potato chips are sold in glass boxes, not plastic! Check-in was very friendly and fast: we arrived at 11 am, they found immediately our reservation and our room was already available! It took less than 3 min, the stuff was smiling, polite and helpful and they answered all our questions about the hotel and the city. The room (small double-bed reservation) was rather small, but adequate for a couple, very quite and clean. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillow was rather low. However, there is availability of medium or high pillows, to find a suitable for everyone. The linen were clean, and there was everyday house-keeping service. We were asked by the cleaning stuff if we would like our towels to be changed every day, but we refused, since there is no reason to change towels every day, spending too much water. There was a small desk (work space), but no wardrobe, only 2-3 hangs for clothes. There was a safe, an iron, but no single-use slippers. Air condition was available, but we didn't use it, because there was a constant stable temperature of 22 degrees, inside the room. WiFi was very good, stable and fast. TV set was OK, but some more international channels would be welcomed. The bathroom was fine, with high-pressure cold and hot water, 24 hours a day. Amenities were in large bottles, not single-use small ones, which is compatible with sustainability rules, of course. The sleep is high-quality, since the beds are comfortable and the room very quiet. Breakfast is fantastic! There is a large room, with many spaces. The stuff is very helpful and fast. Foods and goods are of high variety and quantity, also very tasteful. Simply, one of the best breakfasts in northern Europe (I have stayed in many hotels!). Check out was easy and fast, with the reception stuff being smiling and fast. We were asked if everything was fine, and if we found any problems. Definitely a recommended hotel, we will stay there again, when travel to Copenhagen!

Serviceable. Best thing about this hotel is the 1 minute walk to the M4 Orientkaj station or Ferry boat. Hotel looks fancy because its new but it is actually cheaply made. Will store your bags for free before check in and after check out. Cleaning is a joke and can take until 5pm. Breakfast is not worth it. No microwave or fridge in rooms.

Clean, spacious rooms with iron and TV available in the room. The staff was friendly and spoke good English (most Danes do to be honest). The disappointing part was the parking, you pay 180kroner/day, yet they tell you if you were to use your car after you parked, you are no longer guaranteed that the place you paid for will be there when you come back and no matter what you still have to pay the whole amount which I thought was bizzare. And to add insult to injury it got kinda flooded while we were there 🫣.. it's a bit far from the center but there is a metro and a ferry that go directly from/to near the place where the hotel is, which is good. Around the hotel is calm and new buildings.

The perfect hotel in Copenhagen for a one-night layover before catching a cruise or for a quiet spot near the city. The bonus points is that it is steps away (literally just outside) to the metro and only a short 30 minute ride to the airport (via metro) and only a few minutes away from the city. The property is beautiful and the breakfast is phenomenal- perhaps my favourite part of my stay here. Staff are friendly, welcoming and the check in process was quick. I was able to leave my luggage here and take the metro to the city (only 7 minutes to the main station). If I wanted, I could've paid an extra fee to check in earlier too and get a bigger room but I decided not to. The room was quite small, yet comfortable and nice. The washroom was also nice and I really appreciated the cleanliness of both the room and the facility itself. I love the design of the place, and the breakfast area. I love the concept of juice on tap. The juice selection was top notch. I also enjoyed the wide selection of breads, pastries and a good mix of savoury and sweets for breakfast. Breakfast is at an additional fee but if you book in advance when booking your room, it may be cheaper than getting it once you arrive. Wifi worked well and was fast. I would recommend and stay here again if I'm ever in Copenhagen. For the price though, it's a bit high but convenience and cleanliness is what I was looking for, and I got both. The next morning, I only had to walk a short distance to get to the free shuttle bus that takes you to the cruise port.

I had a very good 3 night stay here. Rooms are basic and mine was on the smaller side, but big enough for a solo traveller, I had all I need. I really liked the quiet location near the harbour and the new developing part of Copenhagen that is not very touristic. The metro is at the end of the street and will bring you within 10 minutes to the city centre.

Very good hotel. Extremely fair price point/service delivered. The staff were very friendly. The lobby area is fantastic. The Metro station is one minute away and connects to the hub of Copenhagen in c10 minutes. The area is still developing, it appears. There is a lot of construction (you cannot hear any work but you can see it) and not much going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. However, Østerbroo had nice shops - only 15 minute walk away. Overall, great stay.

The location and price were excellent. The hotel was decorated nicely as were the rooms and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We did stay during a warm spell and missed not having air con. We had the windows open, but were surrounded by building work, so there was a lot of noise in the morning from 6.30/7am once it kicked in. Other than that no real issues at all with stay and would go again.

We stayed here for my birthday. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and modern. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental breakfast but had enough variety and was of good quality. The toilet seat automatically went up and down which was the selling point of the room for me. Would happily go back again and recommend to others!

Very friendly and service minded staff. Warm welcome upon arrival Modern rooms, breakfast buffet with broad variety of food. Really good stay. The hotel is just a minute from the metro station, in a rather new build part of the city. A bit silent out there in the evening but that gives you a pleasant sleep whilst it is just a few minutes into down town Copenhagen via the metro.

Despite all the undeniable hospitality of the staff encountered at the hotel, it is heartbreaking to note that no considerationwas made for a theft from our room. My wallet hadn't left the room and all of his money was missing. Also, it wasn't even over a time of cleaning our room. However, no consideration has been established on the part of those responsible. Yet present but who refused to come to us to resolve this issue despite our repeated contacts with the receptionists. Also, it was only after our departure that we were offered (by e-mail) to fill out a police complaint. There was not even a proposal for a commercial gesture. This lack of consideration is distressing. I do not recommend for this point which is not nothing. It was very stressful and especially sad during a business trip.

They are a bit understaffed. So we had to wait until 5 PM for our rooms. Otherwise very good service, and very vegetarian friendly place with lots of varied food option and detailed ingredients on cards, so it's easy to know what one can eat, based on ones personal choice.

What a beautiful part of town! Never heard of Comwell but I’m glad I know it exists now. The staff were super pleasant, helpful and approachable. The hotel is super clean and comfortable. There’s lots of space in the lobby which helps during these times. I appreciate having the ability to rent an umbrella from the hotel for the rainy Copenhagen days. I thought this place was going to be far out and away from everything but no, it’s still very close to everything especially having the metro station just feet away! I enjoyed my stay and was actually a bit sad to leave! Thanks Comwell, you all rock!

New and clean. Still, little too spartan for my liking. Bed was not made and room not cleaned during a day. Cosmetics in bathroom were only basic. Roadworks disturb the stay.

Stayed 1 nite after our Norwegian & Baltic cruise. Choose hotel as near to cruise terminal & Metro. Good points, quite large room with comfortable beds & just 3 mins walk to the Metro station to get into town area. However, as a 4 star hotel, found it lack some basic amenities, like bottled water & basic toiletries. The cups inside the toilet is gross with visible stains. Arriving at about 11 am, the hotel wants another DKK600 for early check-in, although the room is available. One would understand, if you asked for a guaranteed early check-in. Breakfast is so so. Some Ibis budget hotels does better.

Second time in Copenhagen, first time at the Comwell. Our experience was great from check in to check out. Brand new hotel, lovely design, friendly staff, generous rooms, modern bathrooms, comfy beds and bedding.

We needed a place near the cruise terminal in Copenhagen and found this one one the map. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. From the time we arrived, to the time we left the following day, we were met with smiles, good humor and the best service. We reserved a small room, with was fine for 1 night. Very, very comfortable bed and bedding. Great shower (once we figured it out, lol). We had dinner in the restaurant and it was the best pasta any of us had ever eaten. Highly recommend the linguine with oyster mushrooms, as well as the linguine with classic. Soooo gooood.

We stayed at Comwell during our time in Copenhagen. The personnel was very kind, helpful and available at all times. The room was good, we had a pleasant stay. For example, the shower/bathroom was really nice. There were good facilities and the hotel itself was quite peaceful and quiet. The only thing that bothered us were the sounds of construction work next to the building, but there's probably not much the hotel can do about that.

What a very nice hotel! The staff is very very friendly. Every time that say welcome to the guests and if you need help, they are open to help. Besides this, the rooms are very nice as well. They clean very day, every day you get new towels. They also can clean your clothes if you want to. It is a very fine and nice hotel. If you plan to visit Copenhagen, in my opinion, this is a very fine and nice hotel to sleep. The centre of the city is 5 to 7 min by metro, so also very nice. Thanks for the nice stay and see you soon!

Super nice hotel and friendly staff. The breakfast is the best one we had so far in a hotel: they have all ranges of juices, bread, vegeterian options etc. You can pick up all sorts of bikes just in front of the hotel and cycle to the city centre. The metro station is also 2 min away by foot. We had a really nice stay, we will def be back.

Despite its a bit far out from the other hotels in the city. It’s relatively newer hotel with the offering of Metro Station Orientkaj around the corner. Very convenient to get to the city within 10 mins. Service wise, we are super happy about the service. The staff were always smiley and helpful. This is our first time travelling with our dog and we can tell she also enjoys the stay. Be mindful there’s a garden on 1F that dogs can go do their business on the grass. The room on the other side is disappointing without basic toiletry offering nor fridge. I would recommend if you travel with another person it’s better to book standard room instead of small room. We were not able to open both our suitcases but not a big issue. Housekeeping team on the other hand is another disappointment which led me offer 3 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ instead. During our 3 days stay, we had to be proactively remind them to clean our room although we had already put up our sign “please clean our room while we are away” when we were back after a long day, the room was still not clean. Hope the team can improve that.

I just loved the interiors in the room. Rooms were very good. There are a couple of things I didn't like. The air conditioning is not increasing the temperature beyond 19, even though the setting would go to 24. I tested this daily and there is just no hot air coming out. It works fine for temperatures of 18 and 19. The TV is positioned insanely high and it is not comfortable watching it at this height. At this height, we can only watch this by sleeping on the bed on our backs. It is placed directly above beds but still it would have been more comfortable to watch if it were at a normal height. Even with these minor hiccus I would select this hotel again because of the feel of interiors in the rooms and shower. The interesting thing in this hotel is there is a selection of pillows and we could choose which pillow height we need and ask at the reception, a very good idea indeed as they are giving preference to the quality of sleep. I wish this option is available for duvet as well as they are very thick and the air conditioning is taking a lot of time to cool the room. The bathroom has an underfloor heating, it actually heats up better than the room as the room would never be warmer when this AC. All other amenities are very good. I'm a little surprised to that there is no kettle in the room, but that was fine for me. The breakfast had good options, don't miss the Rhubarb juice.

For sure one of the best hotels I've ever been to! Excellent location right at the side of a metro station, 15min to the city centre. The bedroom has the best clothes I've slept in and I wish I had that shower in my home. Excellent and friendly staff, all of them. And last but not least, the delicious and very well served. So many options and made with so much care that you couldn't start your day better. 100% will be back there.

It’s located nearby the metro station and easy to reach by car. The rooms are clean and quiet. Unfortunately checkout went not well as the hotel tried to charge us twice! Staff was very unfriendly and I felt offended. Finally one of the managers solved the issue and blamed it to some “system issues”. What me disappointed mostly was the arrogance and stubbornness of the staff saying that I was wrong while I had evidence that I already paid. Very humiliating experience.

Great value for money hotel. One block from the Orientkaj metro stop; 5 minute train to downtown. Rooms are comfortable but slightly Spartan. Great shower. Breakfast is good and was included in the room rate. Overall a good hotel in a developing but convenient location.

The employees are super friendly, very pleasant. Everything else is rather forgettable: The hotel is gouging you for additional fees like a cheap airline at every step, so-called queen rooms are two twin beds moved together, no large blankets. Small rooms, huge restaurant with high prices and very impersonal feel, good lobby to get work done and to sit. All this for $200 a night without breakfast, I would not recommend or return

  • 1/5 Marijana P. 7 months ago on Google
We feel ripped off, we do not recommend this hotel: When checking in, we asked at the reception how and where is the best place to park the car. We were told that we can just drive in the parking garage and pay the parking fees there or at the reception, so we left our license plate at the front desk, drove to the parking garage. After 2 hours we realize that we got a ticket in the parking garage for over 100€. The employee had never dropped that you have to pay before (!) the parking and not when leaving (as usual). We complained about the lack of communication and information. We were referred to posters in the parking garage. These are at the parking areas in Danish. At the intermediate door there is a sign in English "have you registered for parking?" we thought "yes we have", because we told the reception and gave them our license plate number. The hotel-stuff said that the parking garage is not serviced by them, however, the parking garage is located directly in the hotel, is also called so and there is the possibility to pay at the reception.... Then we parked in the parking garage next door: just drive in, license plate is scanned and you pay as you exit. All signs also exist with English translation. Fair parking is possible. This reinforces even more our impression that it is here rip off tourists and the employees (partly) do not communicate clearly and fairly. The room was modern but small, had dry water stains on the mirror, shower and shelves in the bathroom. The black furniture in the room was covered with dust. The bed had white stains on the gray upholstered areas. The cover of the ventilation system hung down defective, we did not dare to operate it and touch the open lying cables.

The hotel is generally quite beautiful as it is relatively new. Unfortunately, on the floor and corridor where I stayed, there was a strange smell on the day of my arrival. The smell decreased after a few days, but I believe that some intervention was made later. When I entered the room, there were no issues. The beds were very comfortable and overall enjoyable. I experienced a bit of a problem with the heating. Whenever I tried to raise it to 22 degrees, the room always got colder. I had to close the ventilation system to warm up. In my opinion, providing disposable slippers for the rooms would have been a good idea. It was a clean and comfortable stay. There was a kettle in the room with a few teas and soluble coffee. Easy access to the metro and ferry. There is no market nearby. I especially recommend taking a ferry to Nyhavn for a day. You'll witness a beautiful scenery.

Brand new 4* (real 4*) hotel not so far from the city centre. Well-equipped and clean rooms, clean bathroom. Friendly staff, easy and quick check-in earlier than the mentioned check-in time. Very good breakfast. 15 minutes to city centre by subway (2 minutes to the station). Nice access with the local ferry from the central part of the city. Con: Noise in the room made by the heating/cooling system.

The hotel is very nice and clean. People are nice and helpful. Our room was perfectly fine, I didn't feel it was small, but the fridge (køleskab) was missing. The breakfast was very good, could use more meat dishes. If we visit Copenhagen, we will definitely choose this hotel again.

Comwell Copenhagen Portside Hotel is an absolute gem! My stay was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were fantastic, offering a comfortable and luxurious experience. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Their warmth and dedication elevate the entire experience. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing the staff members are, they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for. One of the highlights of my visit was enjoying delightful cocktails at the bar. A young man, with an impressive talent and creativity, concocted one of the most memorable drinks I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to return for another exceptional experience!

Location right next to the metro. Metro runs 24/7 every 2-5 mins. Easy to get to city central. Hotel is very clean. Rooms so comfy perfect for 2 people. The only down side they put 2 single beds together. Shower is very good and they also keep your bags in the hotel until you need it for your flight

Much much better than expected. I don't remember the last time I was surprised positively in this extraordinary way. Perfectly friendly, nice place to work and have quick calls in the lobby, neat design. Good drinks and the breakfast is a blast. Sundays it could be crowded so better wake up early. :)

The Cromwell is a very good option for a stay in Copenhagen! The hotel is modern, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Debraska was super pleasant and helpful during our check in, offering us a long list of restaurant recommendations. Their in-house bar and restaurant is also very nice, although meal options are somewhat limited, and portions are small. The service and bar staff, however, were very pleasant. The M4 line, which gets you to town in 10-15 minutes, is a short 2 minute walk away. This hotel's only minor draw back is that the basic rooms are on the small side, particularly if you are sharing a room. Although my boyfriend and I didn't mind this, especially considering the cleanliness and conform of our room. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers!

Located near a metro station in the port district of North Copenhagen, this is a good standard basic hotel. Bed was great, check in and out not an issue and breakfast was decent. Price is ok for what it offers, though I would make use of the close metro access, to eat in town rather than at the hotel.

The reception is very nice and classy and the staff are very friendly. The metro that is a two-minute walk from the hotel runs every four minutes and 24/7. The only negative thing is that the area is still under construction. But other than that, it was a pleasure staying at this wonderful hotel!

Very nice hotel. You can rent bikes for 150kr a day and the metro is very close by. They have happy hour for 2h (3-5pm) and a good selection. The restaurant have a great breakfast and they prepare very nice food. The mushroom toast and the salmon was delicious, as well as the udon noodles and the lamb. The chicken was also super tasty and tender.

Worst Nightmare. The hotel completely ruined the stay in Copenhagen for me. First of all, we got the wrong room. The front desk staff argued with us for a long time that it was the right room. Only after a long discussion he wanted to show us the difference. He was very snotty. When he saw the rooms, he realized that it was indeed the wrong room. He could not offer us a solution. He only offered us breakfast, which we originally did not want to use. He booked it for us. When we arrived at breakfast, our room number was not on file. Simply nothing worked out. And in the end we were ripped off. We booked and paid for parking in the parking garage for 48 hours at the front desk! Nevertheless, we had a parking ticket on the car. We went to the reception to solve the problem. There we were rudely told that nothing could be done. The only option: the hotel will refund us the 300 DKK. However, the parking ticket is in the amount of 795 DKK!!! Unacceptable. For me the worst stay ever.

Nice room and Nice hotel but not in the city center. But 2 minutes from metro station. Good gym equipment. Breakfast good but very very crowded due to the size.

I stayed for several days, the staff where helpful, room was super clean and spacious, took the larger one, quiet at night, food is great for a late night bite. 1 minutes walk from metro station. They offer bike rentals

One of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. Great location in Nordhavn, a stone's throw from the Orientkaj station. Giving you quick and reliable access across Copenhagen via the Metro system. The staff in the hotel were wonderful, friendly and personable. The lobby area was huge and comfortable. The rooms were wonderful. Spacious, modern, clean and well cared for. I've stayed in many hotels across the world and the Comwell ranks in the Top 3 for me. You will not be disappointed.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Relaxing and modern vibes from the moment you walk in. Beds and sheets are very comfy. Has a big lobby for chilling, also special area for co-working. Very close to metro and the city center, under 10minutes and you’ll be in the city. Recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Copenhagen.

Loved this hotel! Had a last minute need for a room and thankfully found this place a few days before my flight to Copenhagen. The staff was so friendly and accommodating with our 6 large bags. The room was so comfy and nice. Very clean everywhere. The restaurant was also quite good for lunch! For breakfast it wasn’t worth the price unfortunately. I love how sustainable they seem to be and the location is just great. Close to the metro making it easy to get to downtown. I’d recommend this place for sure!

Best worker that are understanding and easy to communicate with. Communication was so great The workers are so friendly Best food prepared by the chefs breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lobby and restaurant is big enough for everyone plus clean rooms. We had our Elites from more than 20 countries staying in the Hotel during the Copenhagen Marathon 2022 and we were all well taken care of. The Hotel provided us with the best foods for the Athletes and made our Athletes have the best run with new records. The Hotel Management and Staff You are wonderful ❤️ and you are doing a great job. We are coming again and again Thanks and we hope meet. Clara Pedersen

The staff were always very accommodating. The hotel itself is like you’re walking through a furniture store showing only Denmark’s finest furniture designers. The food was excellent - we had both breakfast and dinner there of the - in totally - 4 days we stayed. They have a bike rental for 150dkk a day which is a prefect way to get around in København. I would both stay here again but also highly recommend that you do too.

Perfect hotel to stay before or after a cruise. Restaurant inside hotel provides an ample buffet style breakfast. Dinners were very good too. Room was small and sparsely furnished. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Rooms are clean and well designed. The hotel is nice. Expensive breakfast but delicious. Staff is ok, they make us check in at 3pm after a very long flight and journey. Location is near to subway station and easy to get to city center and airport; No bar or restaurant near the hotel but you can order food inside the hotel, the area of the hotel is under construction

The room was very nice and clean, the whole hotel made a great impression. The only drawback is a small parking, where we did not find a place after returning from sightseeing around the city. Fortunately, the service was very nice and helped us find another parking. We recommend this hotel.

The Comwell hotel is a modern hotel and the superior room is very nice. You can easily reach the hotel by using the Metro M4 line. There is a big TV with casting possibilities so you can use your own apps without setting up credentials on the TV itself. Beds are great and there a great pillows and blankets. There is a possibility to open the windows for fresh air. Maybe the only thing that was bit of a miss is the bathtub. It is rather high and you need to get in to get a shower. The shower itself is great with a big rainshower. Breakfast is good and had an amazing cheese cutting device. 😉 Great value for a great room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Had a great multiple day stay at Comwell!

I have not many complaints about the hotel, but the one I have it's important for me. The bed and the pillows are way too soft. I get every guest wants one thing, but wouldn't hurt anyone to keep in store a bunch of hard pillows just in case ... Regardless of this, the hotel was spotless, the room was huge, and as soon as I switched on the TV, I found a Spanish channel with one of my fav TV shows... The room was big, the bathroom huge, I love the hot floor, and the rain shower amazing!! The hotel is not in the city centre, which makes it very quiet, however, the tube is so close and so quick that you are in the city in like 5 minutes!! Unfortunately we booked with no breakfast, so no opinion about breakfast 🤷🏻‍♀️

Decent hotel for the price we got, located at an uninteresting area. The metro is near though and convenient to get around. The rooms lack a refrigerator which is a big issue if you come with children and the reception even denied to store our milk even though they state differently at their online information page… The breakfast is fine and recommended since you need to get the metro to reach any grocery or shop.

Easy to reach with a metro station just metres away, the boat bus is even nicer to catch when you get the DOT app and choose 2 zones. Helpful friendly staff. Great rooms. All round lovely hotel and nice quiet area. We loved it

I had been staying in Comwell Copenhagen Portside hotel over the weekend and experienced bad communication from the side of hotel stuff as well as lacking good quality of service. I will point out couple of main issues and points which were on plus: 1. Parking at hotel is not belonging to hotel, but to some outer company. Guests needs to pay separately for parking in the hotel building in 4star hotel. Moreover there is no guarantee that there are free slots of parking in the same building. If not, You are asked to find parking slots at other place outside the building and of course as well cover expenses by yourself. 2. Breakfasts are, I would say, medium, like for 4 star hotel. Right, the furniture in the dining hall are pretty exclusive, however food itself is like nothing special. And most of dishes at one of breakfast time on Sunday was already eaten by 10am. 3. Daily cleaning and bedsheets changing was out of order without any notifying guests. I was pretty sure that cleaning during me being out of the room shall happen, however not. Room was exactly in the same condition. Moreover rubish bin was full of garbage. Our toilet papers were empty without getting new ones. That is not good for four-star hotel. 4. Setting temperature in the room was out of order as well. That was not possible to warm up the room in spite of getting thermostat set on the higher temperature. I got explanation from the stuff that heating in the room is not working when temperature is set for over 21 degrees, while it was possible to set it up to 24 degrees. I shall be informed about it in advance to be able to get at least those 21 degrees. But that is not the worse. As I got to know, hotel has issues with heating when there is full occupancy and even setting temperature up to 21 degrees doesn't helped. As consequence we were staying in cold 19,5 degree room over the night with small kid... 5. Heating floor in the bathroom doesn't work even though regulator for temperature is set for maximum. So be prepared for cold tile floor in the bathroom. The good thing is that subway station is just 100 meters from hotel so easy access to the city center. Beds are very comfortable to sleep, that is a big advantage that I have to admit ! There are also several boutiques and grocery shops just in case. Unfortunately all those issues wouldn't make me to make decision of staying in that hotel once more even there are good things in this hotel. Honestly do not recommend.

The hotel is very convenient to get to from the airport via metro and also other city attractions. The rooms are spacious, new and with good facilities. Cathy at the reception was super friendly and helpful during check in and also allocated our room a few hours earlier than the check in time - taking into account our long trip from Australia and travelling with a baby. I think her manager (forgot his name) was great too who advised her to so. All in all, it was great stay and we will do it again!

We booked a room for 3 people and couldn’t have loved it more. The room was spacious and clean, the hotel was 2 mins away from the metro station line M4 which can take you to most sights. The staff were very nice and helpful. You can order food in the hotel. It’s a bit expensive(but where is it not in Copenhagen?) but delicious. It also has a co-working space downstairs which was a nice find.

This hotel was beautiful and clean. They worked with us and let us arrive late. We also were able to leave our bags at the desk the day we left so that we could go see some more of Copenhagen. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious! A lovely stay

I am still here for a few more days and I had to review ! It was amazing the cleanliness.. every good detail already mentioned in the reviews .. but most of all the helpful staff. I went a zillion times to the bar to get ice bags for my inflamed back and not once did I get a rejection. It shows that the staff is happy bcz the hotel treats them well 💐 I would stay best stay in Copenhagen ! I encourage you to read all the good reviews that’s why I came here 🥰

Enjoyed my stay at Comwell Hotel. It's a solid 4-star experience. The staff here are truly its shining stars - always friendly and ready to help, which made my stay much more enjoyable. The beds are another high point, very comfortable and ensured a good night's rest. However, there's room for improvement in terms of room size and cleanliness. The rooms were a bit on the smaller side and could use a bit more space for comfort. The bathroom, particularly the floor, could have been cleaner. Also, it would have been nice to have shampoo in the shower instead of just hand soap. In conclusion, Comwell provides a pleasant stay with exceptional staff and comfortable beds, but could pay more attention to details in cleanliness and room amenities.

The people working at the reception weren’t capable of providing a correct invoice for 3 days and constantly over promised and under delivered. Already at check in, they told me I had already checked in and received my key earlier this day.I definitely can’t recommend this place, although the rooms itself are clean, modern and spacious.

Restaurant is excellent and breakfast is lovely. The rooms are small and no amenities. Feels like a dorm room with no refrigerator and no coffee, etc. Extremely disappointed.
