Just had my dinner at La Forketta and I have to admit that was really really really good, fresh and tasty. I had Insalata Caprese as appetizer and a superb slice of US Striploin Choice was awesome, really tender and juicy as dessert I took a well done Tiramisu with a nice Espresso Atmosfere and Ambience make me feel like I was in Italy and the italian owner Tony make my dinner even better. If you are in Sanur give a try you won't be disappointed. Thank you guys and special thks to Tony well done👍👍

When you are getting into an ‘Italian’ restaurant and ask for a pizza, I promise you it’s far from what you are about to get. I ordered a Margarita pizza with an extra of mushrooms and onions. The first round came without cheese and honestly no taste at all. I assumed that some cheese is missing. INSTEAD of making a new pizza they decided to add extra cheese to the current one. See the result yourself. The cheese wasn’t melted, the onions were raw, and mushrooms were uncooked. When the ‘Italian’ owner came he asked me unprofessionally where am I from?? to make a point that perhaps I don’t know how pizza supposed to be served(!). It’s a disgrace! Bottom line, he didn’t really care what I had to say and charge me for this thing he called pizza. Stay away!

I ordered pasta for take out, and liked it a lot! Staff was very friendly, food came quite fast although the place was not empty, and they had some lovely live music, which I enjoyed while I waited. I had the creamy carbonara pasta and it came with a crispy bacon on top!

Started with a the Bruschetta and Greek salad, fresh very tasty. Next was the Penne Arabiata and the Ravioli with spinach. The sauces were so rich and fullmof flavor we could have eaten a bowl of the sauces with bread. The pasta was cooked just right not over or undercooked absolutely choice🙏exquisite. Will close off with a gelato for desert and maybe an expresso but not this late maybe🙏. The atmosphere is fresh and bright the kind of place that lifts your spirit. Very relaxing a place that will definitely be frequented🙏❤️🌹🍷🫰

The best pizza in sanur and possibly Bali .. we loved in Venice Italy for many years so we know a good pizza , Fabio the owner has nailed it by opening up a true authentic pizzeria on the heart of sanur , we eat here twice and had a different pizza each time also the pasta .. I haven’t had a pizza like it since I lived in Italy many many years ago.. we even had a lemoncillo with Fabio and talked a while .. fantastic food always busy , do your selves a favor whilst in sanur or Bali go get a good meal prices also fantastic .. We recommend many from our hotel to go and all came back saying how much they had enjoyed it.. thank you Fabio and team see you next year .. Also great real gelato out the front ..

Part 1, 29th July 2023. Last night I got a takeaway Hawaiian pizza. It was ok. But then I did stay chatting and having a beer for over 4 hours. They also had live music so that was a bonus. Fabio kindly gently reheated it as I was leaving. Tonight I ordered another Hawaiian with mushrooms and went straight home. Delicious! Great crust. Generous toppings. Great open space. Great staff. Comfortable for dining alone. It's a popular restaurant for locals and tourists. Prices are reasonable for the good quality of their menu. Appears to be always busy. Clean bathrooms. I'm looking forward to trying some pasta. Thanks for last night and thanks for the pizza tonight. Part 2, 31st July 2023. I went back again last night. This time for the Pasta. But again I got talking. This time with a Dutch woman who'd read my above, Part 1 review, and decided Forketta was worth trying. She really enjoyed her pizza. I never met anyone that'd read one of my reviews before. It was rather amusing. So another takeaway happened. Rigatoni pasta with a, (not really on the menu), sauce of tomato, mushrooms and cream with parmesan. They made the sauce exactly how I asked. It was spectacular. Generous amount of rich creamy sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly. With a little side of parmesan. I highly recommend this wonderful Italian Restaurant.

Came here for dinner with my family and as we were 6 people without a reservation, they got out an extra table and sat us in the garden part of the restaurant. The pizza and pasta were excellent, with generous servings, and the pork chop and grilled chicken were very tasty. Not sure why they poorly rated because they deserve 5 stars for both food and service :)

Italian restaurant that also have Gelato Stall. Nice Gelato, not too sweet. Forketta food also quite ok. Portion enough for one person. They have selection of wine, cocktail and non alcoholic drink. One of the eating place in Sanur you can consider to relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of sanur. Not too expensive

The place is ok, the service is ok. We had seafood pasta and pork chop, and i would rate the food 6 out of 10. Not yucky but not yummy either. Nothing can make us want to come back again.

Real Italian food. The price is not so expensive compare to the portion. For Indonesian like me, one portion is enough for me and my wife. The pizza is great also. Suffice for my whole family-friendly of 2 teenagers.

Dropped in for dinner. We ordered 2 pasta dishes. Both were good however the ravioli with mushrooms was a clear winner!. Juices were great and service attentive. Airy space with various seating options.

Truly Italian restaurant and the Italian owner still working in the kitchen! We’ve tried antipasto beef carpaccio and grilled octopus delicious, salad and great pizza! They use evo oil and they also have a gelato kiosk. Good service and pretty reasonable price and decent portions, can’t wait to get back!!

Finding a good Caesar salad is a little difficult in Sanur. This one was nice but the dressing was a little heavy on the mayonnaise. The rest of the ingredients in the salad were nice and well balanced. The gnocchi was good!

Proper Italian pizza with a proper pizza oven at the front of the restaurant. We went back here twice for the food. Their staff members were very lovely. There's a Gelato place just right in front of the restaurant. One could bring it to the restaurant when you dine in.

We had dinner twice at Forketta as the food was amazing. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was great and the owner came around to chat make sure we were enjoying our meals. If you are in Sanur definitely stop in and have a meal here.

We ordered bresaola pizza. I really love the pizza dough! But the dried beef was too salty. And for the dessert, we ordered panna cota. I asked the staff about the ingredients they use for panna cotta but unfortunately, the staff didn’t know much about the details. But was very friendly tho, we even joked a bit. The panna cotta itself was sweet, i was hoping the berry sauce would balance out the sweetness. But the sauce was also sweet. So what i got was just straight out sweet. Overall i had a great time dining here. Would love to come back to try their other pizzas

We were recommended to try Forketta after we had been to the other Italian restaurant in Sanur. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed a beautiful dining experience. I had a pizza 🍕 my first in Bali and my husband had the chicken parmigiana, we shared a Greek salad 🥗. The food was amazing and was the atmosphere and staff. We enjoyed our dining experience that we when back last night. My husband had the pizza and I enjoyed a pasta dish. Once again it was delicious 😋

We came here so often, and we decide to have our xmas dinner here, we choose seafood and was fantastic…All are so good … and the dessert are highlights. Top 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ( Gamberi Pancettati, Spaghetti Chitarra Granchio E Ragu Di Cernia, Torta Alle Mandorle Con Gelato Alla Vaniglia.) The best pizza so far in our month long stay in Sanur. Nice clean, well ventilated and spacious. A joy to eat here will be back

Felt like some authentic Italian in Sanur and having walked past Forketta on previous nights and enjoyed the smells thought we would give it a go . WOW....was worth it. Had the Gnocchi, Fettuccine Carbonara, Quattro Formaggi Pizza and the Panna Cotta. All were amazing.... Atmosphere and service were great. Will be back in a heartbeat when feeling the urge for Italian in Sanur.

Love this Italian in Sanur. Nice, breezy atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Food is the best Italian that I've tried in Bali (and most of Perth!!!). Great home made pasta and the pizzas are always good. Mushroom ravioli is a favourite 😍

The best 100% Italian stone-oven pizza in Bali! Good value for money, made me feel like I'm in Italy🤩. Crispy & thin base, very good variety of choices for meat lovers and vegetarians. Restaurant has very nicely designed interior and amazing staff😊 - big THANK YOU to them and owner Fabio for creating amazing atmosphere and great food🤗. Highly recommend to visit while staying in Sanur, you won't regret!

Pleasant dining experience. Nice airy place and polite staff. The food tasted fresh, and has a good value. I think the bruschetta could have been more crisp on the outside. I recommend trying their gelato for dessert!
