Highly recommend Rio Tours when planning your trip to Bali! I initially found his company through Tripadvisor because they had an Overnight Tour to Mount Ijen advertised. I emailed the company directly to find out more details. I'm so glad I did this as opposed to buying the trip directly from Tripadvisor! First off, by contacting the Tour Company you can arrange payment with them directly. This way it's cheaper because if bought through Tripadvisor, the price is marked-up so Tripadvisor keeps some of the profit. Beyond that, why I appreciated Rio Tours so much is because I gave Rio my ideal itinerary, which I found it a bit challenging to plan myself. But Rio came through and made the dream happen! Communication was professional. He asked if he could call me on Whatsapp so we could be on the same page when going over the details. I remember during the call he said, "I just want to make sure that you're safe." The moment he said that, I knew I was in good hands! After the call, he messaged me my itinerary so I could go over the dates and locations I requested. When the day came, the driver he had arranged was punctual and I spent the next week fulfilling my East Java tour. Definitely will be reaching out to Rio again when I go back to Bali!

Rio Bali tours We recently visited Bali and were looked after our whole trip by Rio Bali Tours.Desna was our driver and took care of us well.He opened doors for us,packed in our luggage,gave us great advice and even made coffee for us. He took us quad biking and even managed to get us into a smaller group so we could stay together and go at our own pace.He knew all the places we wanted to go and showed us around while we were there. This was honestly the best experience I could have ever asked for while visiting Bali! Rio was an EXCEPTIONAL tour guide. We had a large group, so there were many differing interests in what we wanted to do and see, and he was very accommodating and helpful in making sure that all of us got to do what we wanted. He let us make stops on the way that weren’t initially a part of the tour while also making sure that we had time to do everything else. The rice terrace and temple on the water were absolutely gorgeous and well worth the drive. His stories and knowledge about Balinese culture as well as his funny and happy persona were truly priceless. I could not recommend this tour more!

This was the most incredible tour we went on in our time in Bali. Many other tours felt rushed and like we were in and out of places without being able to enjoy them. But this one felt so special. Every time we saw something interesting on the side of the road, Rio would stop and would let us go out to enjoy the scenery before continuing on our trip. We also got lots of time to actually walk around in the rice fields too. We were talking about wanting to try Durian one day and Rio took us to a stand to buy some and get a whole local fruit tasting experience. We then even got to go to the monkey forest (which I didn’t even know we were going to do) and we showed up after close and Rio was able to get us in anyway and get us a completely private tour of the monkey forest. It felt like a really lucky one time experience and Rio made it feel so special for us. He is a great tour guide and really has all of the “ins” and know-how of the area.

We booked a trip with Rio to tour the beautiful island of Bali. Rio was very responsive from the time we booked the trip. A day before the trip, he reached out to confirm the pick up time. He picked us up right on time in a very comfortable, luxurious car. We spent day 1 going to the Ubud area, waterfalls and Bali swings. We spent day 2 going on a Bedugul Bali tour which included Ulun Danu Beratan temple, Rice Terraces and the Tanha Lot. Once there was a road closure and Rio very promptly took us through the inner roads so that we could enjoy the tour without wasting much time stuck in traffic. Rio is very friendly and gave us a Bali cultural immersion tour. During the drive he explained the culture of Bali, the local cuisine and lifestyle. We really enjoyed the trip. Rio was very efficient in navigating through the busy streets of Bali and ensured that we didn't waste time in the streets. We had a wonderful trip to Bali, thanks to Rio. We highly recommend his tour company and will be booking him again during our next trip. Rio came highly recommended by close friends of ours, and we are now recommending him to other friends. Had such a great time our tour with Rio! Rio is such a knowledgeable, kind, and funny tour guide. He brought us to all of the planned tour stops while also allowing for us to be spontaneous when desired (ex. stopping on a bridge to get a beautiful river view, stopping at a fruit stand to try Durian, visiting a monkey forest just because we were interested!). We were able to spend as much time as possible at each stop without feeling rushed which made for a special time at each location. He was flexible, communicative, and so fun. He also gave us so many great insider recommendations for the rest of our trip to Bali. Thank you, Rio, for such a unique and wonderful experience!

Had an amazing experience with Dewa taking us to go snorkeling at the Blue lagoon. Water very clear, lots of fish and coral. Lunch was provided and very tasty. On the way back we stopped off at a coffee and tea playland had a very memorable time there with the owner. Our guide Dewa was very informative and a terrific driver. Highly recommend this trip.
