Best place for cocktails in all of Bali! Amazing speak easy style bar that has perfect atmosphere and the most amazing staff. Our bartenders Agus and Jaya curated a range of cocktails for us to try and talked us through the process of it all which was so amazing. So much thought and love is put into their cocktails and they are so exceptional. Highly highly recommend!

Excellent cocktails, balanced, refined and complex. Some unique mixes such as using the flavor of pandan and banana, which are less commonly found in other cocktail bars. The girl below stole my photos !

District 1 is a very classy cocktail bar. You could easily forget that you were in Bali, and we somewhat did. The dimly lit interior is furnished with velvety cushioned benches and leather armchairs. The cocktails are excellent and the service is very attentive. The.comfortable ambience is completed by a perfect selection of music; a mix of lounge, old-school crooners, and soft jazz. My friends and I will be heading back with a cigar or two.

District 1 is an amazing hidden gem. I don't even know where to begin. There are so many things about this place that are great… the location, the atmosphere, the drinks, the food, but most important… the people. The head bartender is so proud of what they have done. They tell you what they are doing, and once the drink is made, they tell you in detail about it. The entire experience is exceptional. We discovered this place on our second night, and returned every night, that's how much we liked the people and the atmosphere. I have been telling all my friends about it, and I can't wait to return in a few months when I am in Bali again. If you are in Bali, this is a MUST GO TO PLACE!

The attention to detail in every aspect, from the meticulously crafted drinks like the Smokey Negroni and La Vie En Rose Watermelon Cocktail to the friendly and attentive service, created an unforgettable experience. Most amazing experience! Agus and Gaya were such engaging bartenders who explained each cocktail with great detail. The cocktails were uniquely made and delicious!! Atmosphere here is super chill with a nice ambience and european vibes. Totally recommend sitting at the bar table so that you can watch Agus make your cocktails :)

One of the best bars I‘ve ever been! Small but exquisite range of cocktails, most of them special creations with homemade juices and liqueurs (e.g. pandan rum - incredible taste!!) Agus was a very friendly and attentive bartender, giving us recommendations and backstories to every cocktail we ordered. We had a fantastic experience there, if you’re in the area, look out for this supercool speakeasy bar! (Entrance in a gang beside the Bo & Bun, door is marked with red lights)

Exceptional service and friendly staff. We are served by Belis Bagus really nice bartender. We feel very personalised. Will definitely come again when we are in seminyak. It’s hard to find a really good bar with creative, unique and fun signature cocktails that are worth ordering. District 1 does just that. From start to finish, my group was thoroughly impressed with the venue, staff and drinks. The venue is sleek, modern and impeccably clean. We couldn’t help, but unanimously agree that this was our post dinner spot for the evening. We got a few drinks from the menu, in addition to a few appetizers, and everything was made to perfect. My favorite was the calamari, which was cooked to perfect. It was insanely crisp and tender, and was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, hands down. My favorite drink of the evening was the Pandan 2.0, which was a pure gift from the gods. The bartender Agus was also phenomenal and you can tell he cares a ton about his craft. He checked in with our table multiple times, took his time describing the menu, cocktails and process, while somehow also managing a relatively busy bar on a Friday evening in Bali. Patient, thorough and just an overall good dude. Definitely ask for him, if you’re at the bar! We will definitely be back and will recommend District 1 to all our friends and family. Check this place out, you won’t regret it.

Located above Bo & Bun, this is a great speakeasy with good cocktails, fantastic pricing, and amazing service. The cocktails are delicious and there are even some creative ones like the dessert focused have you tried Klepon. Highly recommended drink. The pricing is great considering it’s a higher end speakeasy. The service matches the ambience and they explain everything for you.

This place is such a gem! I love how this bar really is a speakeasy bar, not like any other places that claimed to be one. Drinks are absolutely amazing, price is reasonable, and although I didn't have their handcrafted cocktail, I'm beyond satisfied that they served my Martinis very well. Kudos to Agus, Adhee, & Midun too for being such a lovely team!

Had an amazing time here while on holiday, coming from Melbourne we love a great cocktail and Agus’ creations were some of the best we have ever had! Highly recommend this place for a chill vibe and delicious cocktails if you’re in the area

Best speakeasy bar located in the strategic area. Beside the atmosphere, warm service and thoughtful insight from the bartender (kak Ade the Head, Agus and Midun) makes me wanna stay longer here, the quality of drink is also *chef’s kiss* Definitely will come back soon~

Went with my friends, and everyone loved the experience and drinks. Ambience and drinks are 10/10 - all the cocktails were created by the manager and you won’t find your regular cocktail here, have tried more than half of the cocktails on the menu and they were all very good. When it’s less busy, they would let you know how they have created the drinks youve ordered. Staff are all extremely accommodative and friendly. Wanted to order non-alcoholic drinks but there wasnt any on the menu, the manager offered to make/create non-alcoholic drinks on the spot according to our preference, and they were so good. The only place we have visited twice during our trip to Bali. 100% would come again. Kudos to Agus, Adhee, and Midun for the wonderful experience!

Great little a secret bar. Bartender Agus is very knowledgeable, friendly and right on point with his cocktails making skills. Popcorn provided with our cocktails was a lovely compliment. Will definitely come back before we leave Bali with our friends.

Absolutely beautiful little "speakeasy." The atmosphere is incredible, with perfect decorative touches to set the mood. The gentleman who runs the place is lovely and absolutely meticulous when making the drinks so you know you are getting consistent flavours and experience. If you want to sit back and enjoy some cocktails you can but if you want to enjoy the full experience, he will talk you through every flavour and now in each and every sick he makes. Hands down the most delicious cocktails and awesome experience I've ever had in Bali. Thanks so much.
