We had booked the sunrise tour with Batur Adventures (via Trip Advisor) Communication was great leading up to the morning of our experience. Pick up went smoothly and on time. We were staying in Ubud, so was collected at 2.30am. Our driver Adi was lovely and made great morning conversation. Once we arrived to the mount, we were paired up with a guide to take us to the top. I'd highly recommend bringing some warm clothes. Preferably something light to carry and some layers. As going up the summit will warm you up and potentially sweat your face off!. But once you're at the top and stationary (for a while) it's very cold up there. We had a rain jacket over our tops, and that was not enough. So something with a hood or thermals would keep you comfy while you wait for nature's beauty. (They do also have locals up top hiring blankets if need be) Now, We'd generally consider ourselves fairly fit people (Les Mills, F45 & training for a 1/2 marathon) But the 1.5hour trek up was definitely a challenge. So just be aware of that and take your time. Feel free to stop for breaks and just take one step at a time. There is a lot of waiting once at the summit, so even if it takes 2hrs to climb, you'll still have a lot of time to catch the sunrise. (Which starts forming at around 5.30am) Once at the summit, We were given some tea/coffee and a tray of banana sandwiches, boiled eggs & fruits. Which were tasty & helped warm us up. The sunrise experience was sensational and made the painstaking ascent worth it all. Our guide was very helpful and showed us around the summit. He also took lovely photos of us too. The descent down was fairly easy. It is down a different way you come up, through a loose soil bike track. So just take it slow and enjoy the warmth of the day. Once at the base, we got picked up by Adi, and made our journey home. Adi was happy to take us to the Luwak coffee plantation on our way back. But we were tired and opted for the hotel instead. Overall the experience was a Batur Adventure, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to create a lasting memory in Bali.

Friendly and genuine guide and drivers. Mr.Aditya made us feel comfortable and took photos of us at all the places. They offer the best deal for Mt.Batur, Coffee Plantation and hot spring around bali. They have many good contacts for all activities around bali and are well prepared. Do try it !

The hike was fantastic. I’m an avid hiker so we made it up faster than the hiking guide expected us to. I can’t remember his name, but he was hilarious and an awesome photographer. Thanks bruh. We had a great breakfast up top with banana sandwiches, coffee, boiled eggs, snake skin fruit and a chocolate bar. We were lucky with good weather and got to see the Milky Way and a gorgeous sunrise with very little cloud. The driver to and from our locations name is Adi and he was fantastic. He took us to the waterfalls and also recommended local spots for food… and suggested which hot springs to visit. I left my camera in his vehicle and he offered to drop it off at my accommodation, no problem. He was so friendly and very kind to us. Definitely an excellent experience with the hike, the waterfalls and meeting the guides

Second time coming to Bali and second time with Adi and friends. They do a range of activities including Mount Batur sunrise trekking, ATV and general tours. Adi and his crew are very good hosts and know their way around Bali and Mount Batur. They brought us to many places and we had a lot of fun. They helped us take a lot of good photos and videos and price is very good too. I absolutely recommend if you are going to trek mount batur!!

Really enjoyed the hike and hot springs. Got some stunning views and photos at the top of Mt Batur with the sunrise, despite the clouds and the crowds. Our trek guide, and driver, Adi, were both great. Hot springs were perfect relaxation after a hard trek.

Adi was our awesome tour guide. He was very kind, knowledgeable and took so many great photos of us once we arrived at the destination. Adi and Arya are the most kindest and professional drivers in bali! I like that they are safety first and always thinks about their customers safety and their enjoyment. The Jeep sunrise trekking was so awesome it was a once in a lifetime experience. Seeing God's creation with the clouds so close you can touch them...and the community of jeep goers gathering together was so cool. I love how Adi brought us out of his own will and kindness to view the black lava rocks volcano. That was beautiful too. I also commend Arya on his professionalism and kindness to sort out my hot springs payment issue and allow us to enjoy the hot springs with no fuss. Thank uuu Arya!!

What a great day we have just had with Adi and the team. Such a great group of people who looked after us for our sunrise Jeep tour then on to the hot springs. We even stopped at the coffee plantation for tasting at the end of the day too. Highly recommend going out to the volcano and the black lava field with Adi. We will definitely be booking with this team again. They did not disappoint.

We will probably never witness another sunrise like this again! The views were breathtaking! Aditya was our driver. He was on time, very friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area. We enjoyed our conversations in our ride to and from Mt Batur. Jerokembar was our guide. Jerokembar was very helpful and friendly on our trek up the mountain/volcano. He provided walking poles, water, headlights, and breakfast on top of the mountain. He was also very knowledgeable of the area and was very cognizant of our hiking party. He chose the path to the summit based on our fitness level, and ensured we reached in a timely, safe, and comfortable manner. Would highly recommend using this company to enjoy the sunrise tour!

Great hiking tour and trek up to Mount Batur. Instructions on what to bring were clear and organized. Pickup was right on time. Driver Adi and his guide were very informative and friendly. The hike was not too strenuous. Cloudy at the top but still worth the experience. The hot springs and coffee plantation stops were a great way to end the trip before returning to Ubud. Highly recommend this tour trip!

Amazing morning hike with a fantastic and patient guide! We found the hike to be challenging. We made it to the top with over an hour to spare and had breakfast cooked by our guide. Do bring warm clothes for the top! After you’re sweaty from the hike, you will cool off quickly! Definitely do this!

Trek and massage review. Adi is such a lovely guy, not just him but the team he works with as well. They arranged everything for us for a good price! Responsive and friendly and I would highly recommend.
