This one of the best places you can stay in Kuta. First of all the beach is right across the road, which is exactly what I wanted. I don't think there are many hotels with a beach view. The hotel is very well decorated with ponds with fishes and staff are very friendly. My room had the view of the ocean. Although the room I stayed in wasn't very big, but was comfortable . The bed was in the middle of the room with the table behind the bed. The bed was facing the balcony, which was small and cosy, yet it had 2 chairs and table to sit and enjoy the view. The cupboard was big enough and they also had a small freezer and standard tea and coffee sachets. The bathroom was nice and clean and well equipped with bidet as well. The hotel was a infinity pool on the top floor with an amazing view of the pool. The kitchen is also on the top floor. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with wide variety of continental and Indonesian food. Do go for breakfast a bit early as if might get crowded. Overall I loved this place and I highly recommend this hotel!

Located in front of Kuta Beach. Old building. Manage by accor group. Room is okay, comfy and clean. Service is fine, yet more improvement would be nice as what make a hotel stands up from others is the services that beyond customer expectation. Food is need huge improvement both in taste and the variety. Price, middle up, not really a competitive price.

One of my worst experience - hotel to be avoided ! The hotel is quite old, and absolutely not on a Mercure standard (at best an Ibis...), location is noisy and with no charm Building is old, aircon is working randomly, windows have lot of space (letting noise and hot air in), the breakfast is not good (limited sits, limited choice...) The street nearby is very noisy Only good point = the staff is really nice and kind I've been an Accor loyal customer for the past 10 years, and this hotel is the most Accor I've stayed in...

This place is amazing!! Staff are super friendly, and really made an effort to treat us like friends and family. They were always making an effort to make our stay luxurious and pleasant. Breakfast was great and changed every day. Rooms were made up each day. Location is the best, and the view from the pool was simply incredible

The best sunset view you’ll ever get in Kuta! Spacious and comfy room, wonderful outdoor spa with a view, and the rooftop pool are on point to get the sunset with a breeze which is so relaxing. Also, it's a very strategic location in the center of Kuta. Very near to the beach. Good choice for people with family or friends.

Many of the staff are trainees. They are willing but in many cases speak only a little English. The service in the bar in the lobby is ridiculous. If they need something they have to call the 4th floor to have it delivered, including the bill. The morning buffet is okay for the price. Good coffee. Smoking areas available. The hotel had a cheap smelling disinfectant in many areas. I didn't really like the Kuta beach area. I just never felt very comfortable in the hotel. I wouldn't go there again.

Mercure Kuta is located in a strategic location, the heart of Kuta crowd, which is very good. We held a wedding event and i would like to say it was average with some good and bad experiences. l suggested not to expect too much about the additional benefits that were offered. Rooftop: the view was amazing, thats why this was being the highlight of hotel promotion. I could not denied that the sunset view was great. The room and rooftop staffs or trainees were really good. Poolside: We chose to have partial outdoor party as backup indoor room was being promised in raining situation. However, the room was being sold to another event in the due date. Fortunately, the rain stopped, How come if the rain did not stop? where should our guests go? Restaurant: the restaurant saved our mood. It was nice, the interior and ambience. The breakfast buffet was good and provided large variations of food. The food in our event was also good, especially the garlic rice and mushroom soup. Room: we took the honeymoon room 1 week after the event based on the hotel availability. Upon arrival, the expected room with honeymoon setup was downgraded due to full occupancy. I did not know if this was the hotel policy. Finally, the room was being upgraded to unrenovated suite without any honeymoon setup. Suite room was spacious with view from the side of ocean. However, this room is not renovated with the discovery of several cockroaches inside the room, not for honeymoon stay. Service: i wont write any review on this part as it is very subjective. I only wrote objective things that existed. However, the coordination of the team was really messy, what offered was not what we got, it could be changed without your concern. Overall, for location and view, this hotel is perfect, for others, do not expect too much.

Great and very strategic location, right in front of Kuta Beach and walking distance from Beachwalk mall. Relaxing rooftop pool with awesome Sunset view. Decent breakfast. Some of the room/hotel facilities are out of service or broken and cleanliness can really be improved for a 4-star hotel. Staff is friendly. Overall, a lukewarm experience.

Good service and excellent location nearby beach walk mall and Kuta beach. Sunsets and breakfast from the rooftop pool/restaurant were amazing. Rooms have a bit of wear and tear but it’s ok, the bed was super comfy and I had one of the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Staff went out of their way to prepare takeaway breakfast for us at 06:15 because we had an early morning tour on one of the days. A great and value for money hotel.

Staff were very friendly, however, the room was somewhat dirty. It had been cleaned since there were clean sheets on the bed, but the bathroom, walls, chair and mirror were not cleaned (enough). The bathroom sink had mold in the corners which could be easily fixed by removing and applying a new seal. The mirror had fingerprints on it and the walls had scuff marks. The photo’s online looked nice, but unfortunately the room did not meet the set expectations. To sum up, Mercure Kuta Bali is a nice, renovated hotel but the room details do not look like advertised. I advise to ask for another room cleaning or look for a different hotel.

Staff were friendly, but need prompting to clean up the room, they disturb you in the morning while you are napping then forget to clean the room after you leave for touring bali, restaurant had some renovation going on, the food selection for breakfast was not really enticing, I've had better breakfasts in bali. Service and food standards need to be improved, otherwise the amenities, pool was beautiful. Will I come back again, maybe 🤔.

The condition of the hotel is very well maintained, clean and luxurious in collaboration with Balinese natural nuances. Complete hotel facilities, friendly service, food and drinks here are also delicious. It's really mandatory to stay at this hotel when you're in Kuta.

The breakfast buffet is amazing, with a wide variety of continental and Indonesian food. Arrive for breakfast a little early as it might get crowded. Recommend hotel!

This is the best value for money hotel in Kuta town just next to the beach. It has everything you want for. The staff is excellent. Specially the lady in the front desk (I forgot to ask her name) she was full of energy and always smiling. Takes care of all you request and makes sure your holiday is happy. The location is best where you can enjoy hotel facilities as well as Beach. The breakfast has lots of varieties. Overall an excellent value for money. I would recommend it to everyone. There is also an excellent India restaurant Punjabi Grill near the restaurant.

Great hotel in front of the beach in Kuta (25min from the airport). For our honeymoon we were upgraded to a 3rd floor deluxe room and had great service and staff. Nice breakfast buffet and they even went to my room with cake to celebrate my birthday during our stay ! Highly recommend ! Thanks again 🙏

My personal favorite hotel in Bali: not far from airport, right by the beach, rooftop infinity pool with great beach and sunset view, friendliest staff, beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and balconies, large breakfast and good recreation possibilities, such as billard table in lobby. Stayed first in 2016, and twice again in 2023, always was extremely satisfied by the whole experience, with a guest service agent taking care of all my needs. Hotel also has nearby restaurants, shops and I had no issues to get picked up for activities on the island.

“Poor room design” After entering the room, there are several design flaws. 1) Double door to the bathroom for a very tight space makes movement constricted. The doors don't come with lock and no external handles. They are difficult to close when you enter the bathroom. Fingers are at risk of sandwiched in between the doors. The so-called handles are just poorly designed for hands to hold, more for one finger to put in and pull. If you have fat fingers, then it's good luck. 2) the wash basin and tap are designed for splashing during every hand wash and hard to reach the tap to turn on and off. 3) lack of a proper table in the room. there are 2 tiny side shelf on the side of the bed and a tiny coffee table which is filled with their cups and sauces etc. If you come back to your room after a shopping trip at boardwalk, you will have to dump all your things on the floor or on top of bed, which in my opinion is very dirty for the bed and dirty for the floor. 4) the room is so small but a tiny verandah facing a bunch of untamed bushes was created which is a complete waste of space. I would have preferred a bigger room and a table space. 5) lack of hangers. Hangers are sufficient for one night and one pax stay. For a couple, you probably have to fight or ration the hangers. 6) the beams in the bathroom are not secured properly and they fell after we hanged our towels. 7) the swimming pool water is murky and doesn't look quite clean. 8) staff attending the pool looked clueless if a guest have left the seat. An empty glass bottle sits for a long time and every guests thought that the seat was taken when in fact it was not. 9) breakfast buffet layout and restaurant layout are made for disaster to happen. Signage in front of the lift shows turn right, which leads to the back of the restaurant. Had to walk one round to the front. Food is laid at the so called entrance in a very tight and squeezy manner. Proceed to mezzanine level for the dining area, which is a congested staircase for staff bringing dirty plates down and guests bringing food up. If you have elderly with knee problem, this will be a challenging breakfast place for them. Nice view at restaurant but poor design layout again.

The room is very simple for the price, the spa is average, and the restaurant is regular. The positive side is the pool and the view, especially during sunsets, is super nice, but you can have it elsewhere. Another negative point was that they organized a private event and closed the pool for most of the day during our stay. We were only warned the night before. That was very disappointing.

Lovely hotel, great location if you want to stay in the centre of everything with an ocean view. I stayed in one of the larger front Ocean view rooms on the 3rd floor which was lovely. There is some noise from the street but that's wasn't a problem for myself. The front reception staff are fantastic and very helpful and gave me great recommendations. The staff around the pool area really needs a lot of improvement. Most are untrained and don't really know what they are doing which is not their fault. Mercure you need to train your staff properly. The other downfall was there was a very poor wind selection. There was no white wine and they measure their wine in a shot glass, which looks really amateur. This is a great hotel. Please train your staff properly and keep a well-stocked bar!

Good location - Easy access to Kuta beach with a small road to cross and walking distance to Beachwalk Shopping Center. Room was underwhelming. We felt the images on Agoda were rather deceiving. It was pretty rundown, TV was of decent size but graphic and audio honestly quite terrible. Barely any warm water so if you are used to have warm showers, expect to be shivering in cold. My husband thought it was alright but I was quivering nonstop. The room had absolutely no soundproofing. I was awaken every hour due to traffic noises and neighbours getting in and out of the room. You literally can hear every conversion happening outside the room. The only thing we liked was the strong AC, but it did come with some loud noises. Definitely not a place to stay for the light sleepers like myself. Service was mediocre. Travelled in Bali a couple times and I would personally rate them bottom tier. Honestly, you are basically paying for the location so if you choose to stay here, don’t expect much.

I can’t move on, and never tell me to! Waaaaaahhhhh! I love it so much! I feel like I could spend an entire year at this resort if I don’t remember my debt. So comfy and homey. The room is perfect! The scenery is lovely, and every side of the resort is worth it to take a picture and post it on social media. No need to worry about anything cause the staff is always ready to help. Surely will come back!

Rooms The hotel rooms are well-appointed and clean, the beds are spacious, the bathrooms are clean, hot water is available, and the air-conditioning is very helpful. Location The location of the hotel is strategically close to a nice beach. Parking spaces for vehicles are available and security is also good, because the security is always ready and stand by 24 hours. Services & facilities The hotel facilities and services are very good and responsive. The hotel staff are quick to respond to complaints. Meeting rooms are also available, swimming pool and restaurant with food menus that are certainly very tasty and varied with local and international menus.

I've been here 3 times. Exceptional every time . Only downside is no gym . The rest is fabulous. Receptionists are great . The people who clean the rooms are lovely. The surf school great. Breakfast cheap but adequate. Lunch same . The trainee staff are wonderful. Special mention to Dian in the restaurant. She is wonderful. One thing i really like is the instant connection to good wifi . Unlimited devices . No log in . The wifi remembers you each time , even a year later. The wifi is better than in places I've stayed that are ten times the price. Pool is clean and good. Coffee excellent within walking distance. ( Arrabica and Starbucks )

Mercure Kuta Bali is a reasonably priced hotel right in the middle of Kuta. Great location. Rooms are small but nice. They are a little dated but for the price pretty good. AC works great. The breakfast package is fantastic. The po is to die for. The only down side is the room size could be a little bigger but still great and the fridges are garbage. They are peltier fridges and don't really work.

This hotel never fails to amazed me with their warm service and helpful staff. starting from reservation confirmation, check-in process and my departure, all staffs showed a great deal of true warm hospitality. As the privilege of my platinum membership, they gladly upgraded my room to suite room. It was one great experience. Their suite room located uniquely near the pool with a great view to the famous Kuta Beach. The room itself is spacious, clean and comfy. One thing missing was, they didn't cater alcoholic beverages as welcome drink for platinum member.. LOL...

Best hotel in kuta, we came all the way from Australia and staff welcomed us with drinks, check in was fast and breakfast was amazing! Definitely will be staying at this hotel and we will make sure to come back. The staff was super friendly!!! Make sure to get the deluxe room because the view from our room was amazing!!! I am so glad I got to experience bali at this amazing hotel ♥️

Room was smallish. Shower smelled like pee. Wifi and air-conditioning were intermittent. Breakfast was great. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Being a property of Accor group, I booked the Mercure kuta bali hotel for 5 nights but our experience was just okay. Payment issue: At the check-in my card was swapped for IDR 5200000 instead of IDR 4800000(booking amount) saying that during the checkout the amount will be refunded. At the checkout my total bill was something around IDR 5000000, but the remaining amount has not yet been refunded to my card yet( after 2 days). Language issue: Being a 4 star hotel we expect their staff to know atleast basic english. However, they had a lot of trainees working for them who did not know any english. We had a tough time asking for some extra bottles of water at night. Ambience and location: The hotel is located right at the beach at the center of kuta. The location is one the best with many nighclubs, restaurants, shopping area in the vicinity. The ambience is nice and has a tropical look. However, in some places the hotel needs a bit of maintenance/renovation. Amenities: The hotel is equipped with all the needed amenities. Food: The breakfast spread was good and has a lot of varieties. The items served were freshly prepared and did taste good. For dinner they have a limited menu but the service was good and the food was tasty. Other: The infinity pool is really nice, well maintained and gives spectacular view. The view from the 4th floor deck is superb. The restaurant also provides great view of the indian ocean.

second time staying here, seems to be getting from bad to worse. wifi is non-existent, if you intend to work or do any calls, you’ll be greatly disappointed. staffs are good, good indo hospitality. however, 70-80% of the staffs are trainee. they’re nice, but won’t be able to speak well or resolve issues.

If you like the beach atmosphere. this hotel is perfect for you. you just cross to the beach within 10 seconds from the hotel. you can also enjoy the beach view from the hotel room and also the swimming pool on the 4th floor.

Hotel was open again for just one month after Covid lockdown but service and cleanlyness was not upto AccordHotel standards. The staircases were super dirty and our socalled refurbished room was in need of some paint. There was mould in the bathroom and around the mirror. Indonesian breakfast was OK but Western was not so good. (Toaster did not work). Employees were very friendly but service was not good. Because of a wedding the poolarea had no more sunbeds and chairs from 14:00h and was closed for guests from 17:00h. Not worth the money. There are better and nicer hotels in the area for less money.

Great little hotel. As it is just after Covid reopening it has minimal staff etc but that's all understandable as it will take time. I've been here one week and my room has not been serviced, would be good if they just dropped of bottled water and emptied rubbish, even if every second day.
