Falafel Temple

Restaurant Middle eastern restaurant

👍 This is a really delicious place. Large portions and good ingredients. It is important for me that the food is of high quality. My favorites are pitta falafel and hummus, mutabal fatouche, mezze, and more. I advise! People often mention falafel, good, delicious, service, Falafel, recommend, tasty, Bali, nice, platter,

It was such a delicious experience! I highly recommend their Baba Ganoush and Cabbage Salad when getting a Mezze Platter! The falafel salad and Baklava are to die for too!! I’m definitely coming back!

6 out of 10 for this place Pretty decent place with few positive things: 1. The variety of products 2. The taste it is in majority very accurate and delicious. Best Baba ganoush sauce I ever tried in Indonesia. 3. Friendly service The downside points: 1. Hell too much salt on tabouleh salad and failed recipe IMO. 2. the prices are too high for certain products and quantity way to small 3. the lack of service check on client during the meal 4. long time for preparation when things should be already done. Will try it sometime in the future for the sweets and see if they are at a decent level as well. However keep in mind the prices.

Great place with a feel of Morocco fast and great service. However, as a middle eastern the food was not as authentic and could use a little More flavour. Overall definitely recommend paying a visit as there’s none of its kind in Bali. Healthy good food for sure

Brilliant Service & Tasty Fresh Middle Eastern Eats. Great experience dining here over lunch. Salads and Wraps were excellent and the falafel balls were delish. Special mention to the manager Dani for his brilliant service which made the experience all that better. Well Done to Chef and team.

This is located at Pantai Berawa and easy to find. Small place with cozy and nice design in- out door. All staffs are very welcome, nice and fast response to our inquiry. Good explanation and product knowledge. Good Food and Big Portion of Mezze for 2 person. So worth it. Highly recommended and option for lunch or dinner.

I really enjoyed the take away I ordered from here, so I decided to check out the place in person too. It is rather small, so it might be a good idea to reserve your table of you want to make sure, you get a table. The food is delicious and I absolutely love the simpleness of the menu. We've tried the brownie too: it was lovely! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Delicious! Falafel was very good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. All the sides were nicely seasoned. Really nice staff as well. They offer you free Moroccan tea if you like their insta page.

Such a cute little place with the most delicious food! Amazing! We had the Meze Platter with Hummus, different salads, Pita and Falafel and everything tasted fantastic. Though I have to admit that we were seriously considering ordering a second one as it was so good.

The falafels at this cafe/restaurant are delicious and the bread is super soft. I recommend going here for a quick dinner or lunch! Bear in mind that the sitting area is very small and can hold about 15 people, so if you are a larger group I recommend booking in advance or be ready to wait. The staff are lovely and cater for any dietary needs, only down side is I wish they told us that their card machine was broken before we sat down to eat. Check this before you end up with the bill and have to scramble for cash. You will a card machine "broken" in many places in Seminyak so they can make you pay cash. I'm not sure if the excuse was legit but I've faced this in many places, so you do wonder. The location is almost 8 km from the beach etc so expect a 20-30min taxi.

A splendid dining experience at Falafel Temple. We ordered a bunch of food, all Incredibly tasty and fresh!! I really enjoyed their tzatziki, and their hummus was silky good!! The falafel was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, hit the spot for my craving!! Really enjoyed the ginger cooler as well, so refreshing. Great portions, great flavor, great service, great experience. Pro tip, throw a splash of the tzatziki on your shakshuka yuuummm!!!!

We ordered 3 dishes: sweet sour eggplant, matbucha, green falafel wrap. We specifically read the ingredients of each dish to make sure it's not spicy. In a result we got the most spicy dishes in Bali for 3 months (sweet sour eggplant, matbucha). I couldn't even take a bite! It was awful and ruined my evening. You should write that these dishes cannot be eaten by ordinary people. I don't know who can eat this kind of food, because it can lead to stomach ulcers. Where I could read about crazy amount of pepper in your menu?

(Translated by Google) Green falafel is delicious. I liked Babaganush, the salad is delicious. Pita was slightly callous. Moroccan tea just water, didn't like it. Pricing policy 30k per pita is not acceptable. (Original) Фалафель зелёная - вкусная. Бабагануш понравился, табулех салат вкусный. Пита была слегка черствая. Марокканский чай просто вода, не понравилось. Ценовая политика 30к за питу не приемлемо.

  • 5/5 Lorine G. 2 years ago on Google
A jewel in the Canggu food jungle. The food is excellent. Their mezze platter is a must. The falafel are tasty and crispy. The humus and baba ganoush come from heaven. And their shakshouka is the best I’ve had since my last visit in the Middle East. Service is excellent and very friendly. Plus the middle eastern atmosphere is very cozy and tasteful.

Not the biggest fan of falafel as I feel that the chickpea flavor overwhelms my tastebuds sometimes. But the herb pita pocket here was a lovely surprise as the light and zesty herbs and sauce helped to balance that nutty chickpea taste. Loved the almond cookie, cold-brew cookie and moroccan tea. Great service under Daniel and dog friendly. Will be back!!

Ambience wise the place is nice and comfy, small but not cramped. Service was good and accommodating. Food wise I love them. For my asian taste-bud it is considerably mild seasoning, but, you get to add more of the sauces to match your own preferences. And I am so in love with the falafels texture and they arent too mushy, or finely chopped. The bigger chunks is much more enjoyable for me as it gives texture. And their price is justified for the portions of the food 👌🏼 I will certainly return to enjoy the food again.

We came here twice. This place is a gem. Everything in the menu looks delicious. We tried the Shakshuka and the Mezze platter with falafel, hummus, maboucha and potatoes. One of the best meals we had during our time in Bali.

Really friendly staff, cute shop, but the food was a little underwhelming. Certain dishes, like the baba ganoush, the pita and the shakshouka, were delicious, but overall, small portions and not that amazing.

I loved loved loved the food when i went there yesterday. Unfortunally my stomach did not. My stomach has been very bad since i ate there. My eggplant dish had a bit weird taste, which i thought was due to the spices, it appears that it has been standing in the display window to long. Very disappointed

Did a really good job honestly not sure why some are saying tasteless on the reviews. Everything was up to par on flavor and quality. I’ve spent time in the Middle East personally. Only thing I could say is include the pita on the 100k platter. Seems a bit too much to include it as 1 of 5 choices.

👍 I definitely enjoyed the mezze plate (100rp) and would eat here again. Btw, it’s huge! The falafels good but not super fresh, just out the frier crisp. I guess you’ve gotta be at a real Turkish place for that. The hummus really isn’t that great (that’s why 4 stars), that’s biggest let down. Hummus is life, so why they not making great hummus? All the other sides where great though. They play music kinda loud so I sat outside. Service was nice and friendly, just like most places in Bali. Would recommend to friends 👭👬
