At first my friends and I were having a nice time. However, the unprofessional manager (with curly hair) ruined our experience when he came up to me and told me “not to be the guy who talks on the phone at the bar.” I proceeded to go outside to use my phone. He then looked at my girlfriend and called her a “5/10.” The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I will never patronize this business again and recommend nobody else does.

While searching for a dog friendly lunch spot we decided to try East Side. The chill vibe was perfect for us and our Yorkies. We were welcomed in by Patrick who was awesome. Offerings include a huge variety of Whiskey, Beer & Scotch. There are several Food Trucks with more to come and a huge pet friendly patio equipped with TVs, games and heaters for those chilly days/nights. We were impressed by the service, The Pet of the Month Contest held on Sundays (sounds like so much fun) and the good quality food. The location is great for the college students in the area. Parking was easy and convenient.

One of the absolute best bars in Denton! If you like craft beer, you will not be disappointed. Seating inside is limited, but the porch and patio is HUGE. They have fans going in the Summer to move the air around and heaters in the winter to keep it toasty. Patrick and John are amazing supporters of the community - always good vibes on the east side.

This place rocks. Huge and plenty of space for you and your group no matter how big or small. Outdoor area is very large and spacious plus there is a good sized indoor bar with a game area and bathrooms. An array of food trucks line the back end with a variety of options to suit your tastes. The owners are fabulous, we stayed in an Airbnb they own and they suggested we come to their bar to relax on our way out of town so we did and we were delighted.

STAY AWAY! Go to the place next door, ran by the same person and a lot better atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy, or anyone of color. This establishment could be a lot better if the bartenders actually had decent customer service. I’m speaking on one individual in particular (usually wears the same looking hat, with a mustache. I wish I had a picture because I’m speaking specifically on this one individual) if you went there you’d know who I’m talking about. He blatantly disrespected me in front of my co-workers, I work for the county, and we went out to have a few drinks after a long week. I’m unsure if it was because he was trying to look cool, in front of his friends or what but he was super aggressive and standoffish. This is unacceptable behavior and I plan on contacting the manager to have a conversation about the disrespect I endured. Once again, I’m not make it about anything other than this one individual I can’t speak on others because it was only my second time there. God bless and let’s do better!

One of the best bars in Denton. You can tell by how absolutely packed it is on a Friday or Saturday night. Yet they usually have more than enough bartenders to keep the lines moving when ordering drinks. Huge draft beer selection with your usual shots and cocktails as well. East Side has a TON of outdoor seating that is dog friendly. The outdoor seating is also surrounded by some amazing food truck options. Great place to come and try something new and enjoy a cool evening.

This was a bar we used to all frequent. Small, humble atmosphere, attentive and efficient bartenders who will listen to you, and give you suggestions. Music isn't so loud and overbearing so you could actually hear the bartender and your friends. The drinks are fairly cheap but don't compromise in taste. The shots are full shots. They have various types of drinks advertised, at the time it was December and we all got this hot coco drink with hot coco spiked with vodka, topped off with optional whipped cream and marshmallows. There's a spacious outdoors patio with seating benches and these torch-lights to keep you warm. There's an area where you could toss a bean bag into a hole with friends. Inside, there's a place where you could throw darts. The restrooms are decent. Pretty popular bar with a good reputation. I loved coming here with my friends at the time.

Cool rustic bar with one of the biggest selections of beer on tap I’ve ever seen. 8 food trucks parked directly behind it with a boatload of outdoor tables, and a few inside seats.

The beer is super delicious, me, and my father tried four different beers and each one of them was really great. Super cool bartender and the prices were really inexpensive. If you need a beer, stop and get one.

This beer garden is a top pick for me locally. It offers an extensive variety of beers, and I particularly enjoy playing darts as they have two boards setup inside. The range of food trucks is impressive, and I consistently have a great experience there!

This is a really cool place. Very expansive so you can bring large groups of friends. Excellent variety of on tap beers. I had a sour that was really good. I wish I could remember the name of it. It has a cool atmosphere with a fairly young vibe. I definitely recommend it.

east side has been my favorite bar in town since i moved to denton 7 years ago. always lots of fun beers on tap, the bartenders are kind, and there are plenty of food trucks to choose from if that’s your thing.

Lots of choices. Almost overwhelming. They have like 1 of every brand but then don't really carry multiple options from each brand. I guess they stay more seasonal with their flavor choices. Pretty good food trucks outside. All in all nice place to hang out.

Great beer selection and the staff knows their way around the taps. Patio was good social gathering place. Would be amaizing in the warmer months but the space heaters make it work even in cooler weather. Only about half of the food trucks were operating when we were there. Some good options and what was ordered looked good. Worth a stop when in the area.

I love taking friends here when they come visit from out of town. It’s always a hit! El Cucuy Burrito, The Saucy Hibachi and Munchies are my favorite food trucks so far. I love the backyard atmosphere and not being stuck in a stuffy bar when I’m hanging out with friends trying to chat.

Been here plenty of times and I've always had a good experience. Great staff that is attentive at the bar. It can get loud sometimes but I've never seen it too wild. Definitely a great place to go.

I came here after work on Monday night, around 1 am. I had ordered food at the Saucy Hibachi food truck and went inside East Side for some drinks. I enjoyed their Yoohoo On Tap Cocktail. It was very enjoyable. Also, I tried their on tap green tea shots, but I couldn't tell a difference. It tasted fresh. Bartenders were very inviting, I sat at the bar and talked with them for a while. I will definitely be back.

Really unique place with food trucks , indoor and outdoor seating. We moved to the inside bar that had huge selection. Amazing selection of Tequila and whiskeys. Also an insane beer menu. Very friendly crowd. Excellent service.

You can't get better than this. Great outdoor space, and plenty of variety to find a beverage that fits your fancy. Community focused, fun local events, and owners and staff at Eastside couldn't have bigger hearts. Put this one on your list.

My boyfriend took me here for an afternoon drink. We ended up getting another drink bc we were enjoying the atmosphere so much. Definitely recommend. Everyone was so nice and pleasant to talk to. Drinks were good and not over priced in my option. We will be back for sure.

Great outdoor seating and beer selection. Dog friendly. I went for Happy hour on a Friday 3-6 pm. 1 out of 6 bartentrs was friendly. You go to the bar to get your drinks, no servers. Several food trucks by there that smelled good.

Service is always fantastic and such a great selection of beer! They always seem to have stouts which is a feat in the summer. Love the patio area and food trucks surrounding. We come here all the time!

This was a nice place, we were here at 1 pm on a Saturday. The inside atmosphere was really nice. They had so many beers on tap. However most of the cocktails are pre-made. I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing. The outdoor space looked amazing but it was too hot for that on a Saturday at 1pm. They did have fans out there so it def would have been tolerable for most at night time or dusk. There was lots of seating in the back patio area with plenty of picnic tables. We didn't get to try the food as we had just eaten but everybody else seemed to enjoy. They did have live music that started at 3 and 7pm. We didn't stay to wait for it. This is def someplace we would visit again if we were close to the denton area.

Great place for beers and food trucks, just right off the square. It will get crowded, and smoking is allowed outside at the tables. The food trucks are great with some delicious choices. There were almost 80 beers on tap, which is a blessing and a curse - definite option anxiety. There is an outdoor bar setup with limited taps as well. East Side is definitely one of our favorite places to swing by for a beer when we're in Denton.

Thank you everyone that stopped by to support us yesterday when it's cold & chilly outside. The bar has artisan market in the outside patio every 3rd sunday i believe. They have few food trucks. The nacho & fried were excellent. They have vietnamese food truck. I got the hoagie with pork and i have to say it's good but the price is 2x compare to what i'd get from the supermarket. I understand why and dont mind to pay as i want to support local owners. We met great people & customers except the fact that we have to deal with the coordinator who action was unprofessional when we were with a customer. The customer had to leave when the coordinator began to speak loud but then the customer came back after the person left our booth and told us how unprofessional the coordinator was knowing we were helping the customer and we had to apologize for it.
