This is a regular hiking spot for me and my puppy dog. Gorgeous trails surrounded by lush woods and gargantuan cottonwood trees. Very peaceful and serene. For anyone using nature to recharge their batteries, this place is THE spot! But...it can be muddy after rain and bugs are abundant. Go when it's been dry for a while and always carry bug spray.

Found this heavenly trail near to denton. As we have soaring hot temperatures, it's perfect during mid day as well with mostly tree shade upto 90 % of trail. It's easy and calm with birds, wild flowers, spotted deer and would come back again to this. Free parking , clear directions marked and easy to complete the loop of 3 miles.

Wonderful place to go and hike. Trails are good and easy to follow. Great place to see wildlife. It is a perfect hike for weekend's. Never been to crowded when I was there. Be careful on the road out it is lined with trees and there is a sharp s curve just after the entrance it can be easly missed.

We can get a good walk here while checking out the beautiful scenery. They have different types of terrain to check out and lots of critters. We saw some deer run through one time!!! If it rains, though, a lot of the trails are inaccessible or hard to walk through. But over all we love this place and visit it often!

Clear Creek is a great nature preserve and hiking trail. Went for a trail run and enjoyed every bit of trail. It's on a loop that's a little over 3 miles around. The pond area is great for bird watching and relaxing away from the hustle of town. Trailhead is easily accessible with plenty of parking. Signage is easy to follow and there's a great map at the trail head to familiarize yourself with before heading out. Great little place to go!

The Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves nature and hiking. The trails are well-maintained and offer visitors the chance to experience a variety of flora and fauna. The area is home to a wide range of birds, mammals, and other creatures, making it a popular spot for birdwatching and wildlife observation. The trails wind through different habitats, including woodlands, prairies, and wetlands, giving visitors the opportunity to see a diverse array of plants and animals. In addition to the natural beauty, the Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center also offers educational opportunities. There are informational signs along the trails that provide information about the local flora and fauna, as well as the history of the area. There are also regular events and programs that are designed to teach visitors about conservation, ecology, and the importance of protecting natural habitats. Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to explore nature, the Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center is definitely worth a visit. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a leisurely stroll, the trails offer something for everyone. With its stunning scenery and diverse wildlife, it's no wonder why this is a favorite natural trail for so many people.

We enjoyed our walk on a beautiful day. A couple of the trails were blocked which was a bit disappointing. Lot of bird song. This would be a great place in the summer too. Trails are well marked. Enjoyed the path along the creek. Not as much trash in the creek as we see in the Dallas area

Beautiful location for an outdoor walk. Several trails with various degrees of strength needed. Take a relaxing walk or work up a sweat! No tickets needed.

Great easy walk with nice views of creek and ponds. Mud if wet so bring extra shoes.

Beautiful trails to explore and reconnect with nature. Take a picture of the trail sign at the beginning though as the paths can get a bit confusing internally otherwise; the trails are marked with names but no maps on them so you'll want the reference of how they connect. Not very stroller or wheelchair friendly in my opinion. It's free to park and to enter, and you'll probably spend a few hours while there. Picnic tables available at the entrance and on one of the trails. My kids loved it (3 and 9) and it made for a great afternoon out with the whole family.

One of my favorite places to go exploring with plenty of geocaches to find and lots of bushwhacking to do

Nice trail just outside of Denton; however, too many irresponsible dog walkers don't clean up after their canines leaving walkers have to watch where they step rather than the leafy green and interesting marsh. Also, be wary since there is lots of poison ivy. Stay on the trail.

Beautiful park with a fantastic set of trails. Easy to walk for any age group, there are no major inclines or rocky terrain That said, the one down side to the park is that much of the southern side is submerged with swamp water, making half of the trails unnavigable for days/weeks at a time. So either plan to only walk half the trail or bring wading shoes.

Peaceful area with nicely maintained and marked trails. Great for easy trail running as trails are flat and terrain is not difficult.

Great bike or hiking trails, that aren't super crowded, like a lot of other nearby places. Really pretty this time of year, but best to avoid it after heavy rains due to excessive mud. This is also basically the other side of the water from Green Belt Park off 380. The only difference is that park costs 7 dollars a person and isn't nearly as beautiful. This place is totally free. There is also a small museum onsite but I am not sure what it is as it was closed when we were there.

Great park, but there is a large homeless dog following people relentlessly. I came here with small children and felt very unsafe.

To many mosquitos right now just past the wet season. Paths flooded still. Will be worth revisiting once it dries out. Rest of paths seem well maintained. Loads of wildflowers and birds.

Love how clean and well kept the trails are and FREE! They have the schools come and see smaller trails and what looked like painting but I'm sure some activities (as an outsider I seen from afar which was safe for the kids and the way it should be) but it really is nice 3 Mile walk and they keep the grounds kept. Nice dogs can walk although if you have more aggressive dogs might not want to bring because they are alot of other animals, people, and small kids. Port-a-potties to use bathroom not dirty ones when I looked but I waited lol. Maps to help stay on track and to decide which path. Water floods don't go after rain

This hidden gem mixes a prairie trail, rich with native wildflowers, with a cottonwood Creek trail and a high trail. Dogs are welcome here, and our little guy loves it, but you are asked to keep your dog on a leash and to clean up after any messes domesticated four leggeds make.

Loved the mountain bike and hike path , wide , great views and pretty close to town. For mountain bike it’s basically flat so not major roller coaster ride like excitement, but again we are in Dallas.

Great place to get outdoors and enjoy nature. Good amount of parking especially when the gates are open. The trails have edible foliage if you know what you’re looking for. Not stroller friendly, we usually bring a back pack for our toddler (3) who will walk the majority of the trail but gets tired at times. Be mindful of snakes and the possibility of mud after rain and enjoy.

First time going. Trails are mostly flat with some dips in a few places. There's a big map away from the building by the entrance. Go there first to get oriented to the various trails. Some of the markers are a little confusing on trail. Had a nice walk through the park.

Such a cute and fun, hiking trail! Only four stars because there’s one part of the trail that’s poorly marked, and I ended up mucking through wetlands. Otherwise, the rest of the trail was dry, and the most fun me and my Bella have had! (Is my dog)super easy, super quiet, absolutely the best!

🫤 The playground really isn’t suitable for kids ages 1-3. The pavement is out of sticks of some sort. Be very careful if your child runs they are prone to hiring the concrete. I don’t know why would they have this playground on a hillside my child damn near rolled down the hill. It is a clean park id...

😐 The playground is great! Fun and well kept. but the surrounding community feels a bit sketchy, mostly because there were several homeless looking people smoking near by and more kept coming the hour we were there. I felt uncomfortable
