My wife and I stayed in Valentino Cabin for 1 night for our 31st anniversary. The hot tub was excellent and worth the money. Jim was humorous and gave us a tour to his farm. We learned so much about the difference among alpacas, llamas and camels. The donkeys were cute. We had a good time and will definably come back again.

Mr.Jim was very fun and cool to be around! He takes great pleasure and pride into making sure everyone is accommodated and is a great person and host! Our room was wonderful it reminded me so much of my grandmothers house in the country and the scenery and vibes were so peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I left recharged and feeling closer to each other. The Alpaca experience was one of a kind and a once in a life time experience. I recommended you read the books about the start of everything as Mr.Jim and his family makes you feel very welcome. We had a great time and will be back.

What a treasure! To be greeted by the sweetest donkeys and ducks, to get to spend time in the beautifully furnished and very clean home, then meet the dogs and the alpacas....it's just dreamy here. So glad I found this place. If ever I am back in the area, I will most definitely, without a doubt, stay here. Hopefully next time for pleasure rather than business!

Such a wonderful, unique experience! My husband and I stayed a few months back and we couldn't have asked for better. Exceptional hospitality, comfortable and clean room, and you can't beat the alpaca kisses! Upon arrival, we were introduced to the dogs and the herd. The next day we got to meet the resident ducks that follow you everywhere and the sweet mini donks! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. If we are even in the area again, we will definitely stay again!

Old Irish Bed and Breakfast was a perfect getaway and was so unique! The host, Jim, is so knowledgeable on the Alpacas and provides the best hospitality (from checking you in to making everyone breakfast to telling Irish jokes, he does it all). The cabins are the perfect size and have everything you need, my favorite part was sitting on the porch watching the Alpacas. Downtown Denton is also a 10 minute drive and has great restaurants, ice cream shops, bars and shopping. Such a great weekend trip and we hope to be back soon.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here 3 years ago (thanks Mom and Dad for thinking to have it here!) but didn't stay overnight. We returned this weekend for our anniversary. This was a wonderful place to stay! We stayed in the Capote cottage, which was comfortable and super cute. We loved getting to sit on the porch and watch the animals in the pond. The ducks were very friendly, and even went on a walk with us. The Alpaca Experience was a huge highlight of the weekend. It was such a joy to get to feed and hug the animals. Breakfast was delicious. Jim was hilarious and so kind! His hospitality made it feel like we were spending time with a friend, even though we just met. God willing, we will be back!

Jim is a wonderful host! I was blessed to have interacted with Rita and had a taste of her great cooking. My favorite part is of course interacting with the alpacas, especially the crias (Bright Brows!), and being greeted by the farm cats. I liked Valentino a little more than Greystoke for the view of the alpacas, but both rooms were cozy, well furnished, and the beds are sooo warm in the wintertime. Definitely planning to stop by again before the year ends.

The room was clean and cozy. I am in Denton at least once a month for business. Sick of staying at hotels, I found this place. It looked quiet and put of the way. The internet was terrible, it kept kicking me off. The owners tried to accommodate me and let me work in the dining area. Internet was better but it was like 85 inside. Only worked for about 2 hours. They offered a $20 gift card,, very kind gesture. Being an active "Farm" turned out to be bad. The barking dogs woke me up 2 out of 3 nights....Not fun. Again, the cabin was great, just not a place for me to stay for business.

Stayed for our 14 year wedding anniversary.. Wonderful, quiet place, clean rooms, charming and sweet. We stayed in the Valentino room, very romantic and relaxing with a private hot tub. Jim is a very gracious, funny, and accommodating host. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. You won't go hungry. Will be back soon.

My stay was excellent, cute animals everywhere. Ducks, alpacas, and a cute little pond. The perfect place for a little getaway. Could totally book a wedding here!

Per Expedia: "Guests must transfer via Shuttle to the property; guests must contact the property at least 24 hours before travel, using the contact information on the confirmation received after booking" Very Weird for a B&B AND..."Guests under 18 years old are not permitted at this adults-only property...Guests under 2 years old are not allowed in the spa tub" Which is it?

Jim Patrick (owner) is the best host I have experienced at a bed and breakfast. My stay at the Old Irish Bed and Breakfast was AWESOME! The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable to stay in. I stayed (5) nights during a fishing tournament trip. The grounds are secure and fenced in. No worries about security. Extremely quiet and quite the set up for fishermen or just a get away with the wife! Jim is truly a gentleman and very accommodating! I did not experience any problems during my stay. The cabin felt like home. Has all a person would ever need. If you are in the Denton Texas area on leisure, fishing or any occasion, you need to book a stay with Jim at the Old Irish Bed and Breakfast! If you don’t ...... you are missing out.

It was great to spend some time here in the ranch of Old Irish Inn on a nice sunny day . Pleasant experience in pampering dogs,alpacas,donkeys…will come again

So fun and charming! Jim was a great host, and it was exactly the unique and romantic experience we needed! It was the perfect way to give my boyfriend the proper Denton experience. Got hugs and kisses from some very sweet alpacas and loved the private hot tub, and waking up to ducks by the pond. If you want the perfect get away, look no further, we had an absolute blast.

What a gorgeous place it is! Last weekend, we had alumni weekend and reunion celebration there. Each and everyone of us had fabulous time together. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and walked around the farm and fed the duckings. The Regal Lama and Alpacas were all adorable and welcoming. The stay was not only entertaining, but also educational. All in all, it was one of the mostly memorable weekend and reunion. I would highly recommend it in a heart beat.
