I have wanted to make my way here for decades and it was worth the wait!!! I am currently in a wheelchair but I can walk a couple of steps and the staff was so AMAZING about letting me into the basement via ramp and back entrance. That made this experience even better because I could experience so much more than I thought... and there's even more I couldn't get pictures of on the 3rd floor. There was even a couple taking their wedding photos inside when we were there.... ummm, that's so randomly AWESOME and shows you how cool this place really is!!! If you are thinking about making your way to this glorious bookstore, don't wait any longer.... just do it!!! You won't regret it!!! I know I'll be back! 📚=❤

A wonderful place that makes a book purchase experience not only cost-effective but also entertaining. I loved the experience of wandering through maze-like alleys of books.

Beautiful treasure trove and magic palace to wander through for hours. So many books of all genres- lovely children's section and lots of rare finds. Book lovers beware- Make sure you have plenty of time. ❤️

Such a cool book store. It's pretty much a must every time I visit Denton. So quirky and so fun to get lost in. I always find something unique.

I love this store! There is no used book/movie/record store like it in the world! My wife and I drove all the way from Arlington just to visit this place and were met with great service and fantastic collections of literature. It is superior to all other book stores, used or otherwise. If you decide to make a fun trip to the Denton Square, please take the time and check this place out!

My wife and I love this location. Looking for an obscure book you can't find anywhere else? Yes? You should be able to find it here. They also sell some video game things, board games, and a host of random items. This is also an awesome location for pictures. My wife has lived in Denton her entire childhood and this is one of those locations that is a staple for Denton.

I’m always having fun in here and I spend way too long every time according to my shopping partners. It just never ends! There is a little nook everywhere you look with a new section of books to check out. If you like to take subtle pictures, there is a lot of inspiration, if you read you’ll definitely find something you’ll like, not a reader, you’ll find movies or art you like still or can just enjoy the walk around since it never ends. There is two ground levels when you walk in, there’s an up stairs within the back- ground level floor and then a downstairs basement near the front entrance.

One of my favorite bookstores of all time. Huge selection of used books and rare books as well as CDs, DVD’s and records. Three floor building that used to be an old opera house and was converted into bookstore. Nicely organized by category with clear labeling for easy searching. My favorite section is the mystery section with both hardbacks and paper backs. Great prices. Also have some new books and cute little selection of greeting cards. Has a children’s section too. Basement level is full of all kinds of educational/research type books on different categories. Highly recommend!!

This is an awesome used book store. It has a huge selection of books and vinyl. It's a fun place to browse and it's right on Denton's downtown square. Fun stuff!

I absolutely love this place! Its like going into a house fully dedicated to books, although they have recorda and other goodies around. There are so many levels, nooks and crannies that I always lose track of time while I am in here, I do not want to miss anything. Best of all is the pricing! Absolutely fantastic! A MUST if you are visiting Denton.

Favorite book store, like, ever, with a great selection and friendly staff. I check here to get my school books before anywhere else, and 9/10 times they have at least one book that I need, cheaper than anywhere else. It's a charming place with lots of personality that I always show off the friends from out of town.

I just stopped by this evening to check out some vinyl, and I found gold!!!! This is my new favorite spot for digging in the crates! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I met Axel and he was beyond helpful and friendly with helping me find unique records! The prices were great and I found an excellent use for my Christmas cash! Definitely the friendliest staff compared to other record stores full of pretentious and disgruntled employees! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Axel has earned himself a new regular customer!!!! 11/10. Love this place!

This is kind of a treasure trove of books, video games, board games, and music. If you are a collector it's got the potential to find something unique. Also they had pogs haha. Every thing is pretty reasonably priced and it is worth making repeat visits

i LOVE this place!! the employees were so kind and there was such a good selection of both books and vinyls. i didn’t purchase any books this time around but i will for sure be going back. it’s a money trap though!! i left with like 5 vinyls and pins that i didn’t need. they almost got me with the cute little tote bags. it’s a lovely place! couldn’t recommend it more :)

I can always find a gem at a great price here! Whether it's a book, record, movie, or collectible, Recycled always has options at great prices. I love the community and small town feel that the shop gives. This is definitely a cute date spot and a nice place to show people who are new in town. I have never had a bad interaction with staff as they are always friendly and helpful. I have also sold books and collectibles here and received a decent amount. One of my favorite local shops in Denton!

This is what every bookstore should be. My husband loves bookstores and this one is his favorite in the area. There's a lot of selection and decent prices. We lived in France 🇫🇷 and come here for their French book section which is almost a whole wall. If you love unique fun books this is worth the trip.

This bookstore is incredibly charming. I enjoy browsing here whenever I visit. I recently purchased a shirt from here that is one of my favorite shirts to wear now. Something I noticed the last time I went was the collection of used boardgames and old video games. I need to come back and check those boardgames more often! A lot of really popular titles in there. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. The selection is huge. Grab a couple of trinkets while you're in there to support this place. They had stickers, mugs, shirts. All kinds of goodies as well as all of the books, games, and music.

Been to some quirky giant bookstores across the US, but Recycled takes the cake! Everything you are looking for & even everything you're not! Crazy creative, cool t-shirts, buttons, stickers, mugs, & all things vintage from cassettes to records. We love this place & all the things it represents! The Artsy labels & signs are tooo fun!

Huge, labyrinthian bookstore with an amazing selection of everything you could possibly want or need. Every topic that I could think of had at least a shelf devoted to it. They also stock CDs, records, tapes, DVDs... The list goes on. They also stock local music and artists. The employees have a lot of heart.

I could spend hours here! - and every time, i do 🌝 They have the best record section around, DVDs, CDs, etc. But can we talk about their book selection for a minute? ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I found my favorite childhood book here after looking for years in every bookstore On every trip. Highly recommend! Make sure to have ample time when visiting!

This place is awesome! It's so big on the inside, and they had a copy of my favorite book (mine is too well loved, I can't pick it up without ripping something) and so many different subjects and items! I will be going back!

I love this bookstore. I have been here many, many times. Do yourself a favor and come in and check this spot out. The employees will act like you are annoying them so beware. I'm not sure if it's a bit or not. I think it's funny though. Come in for a book and stick around long enough to check out the audio selections or unique local clothing. This place was all right. I'm dyslexic so I never really go to bookstores to purchase literature, but they do purchase DVDs and Books and Music. This is especially comes in handy when you are trying to offload collections, both Visual and written, in order to raise a few duckets. The service is a bit lacking. Not saying that the employees are incapable of transactions, but personally i prefer business that focus on customer satisfaction. I kind of felt like I was not "cool" enough to be treated like a customer.

This is my go-to store whenever I am in the Denton area. TONS of books, records, cassettes, CDs, games and literally everything in between. If you’re on the fence about visiting, may this review eliminate any and all doubt. Included are a few pics!

Probably not the best place to actually find what your looking for, as it's a total maze, but mazes are fun and so is this place. Better than that, this place has amazing deals on used books and quite the jovial atmosphere, thanks to the passionate and polite staff. During my most recent visit, there was a whole TV pilot getting shot in the basement, isn't that neat? Certainly a popular and happening place.

This place is so cool! Could look around for hours and still not see everything. Lots of options for kids books too which was a plus!
