Absolutely amazing customer service and selection! My engagement ring was purchased at a store in a different city and they not only repaired it, but cleaned it for free! They also let me know that they will do the inspections and cleaning every six months for free. Plus, I've been looking for places to purchase my fiancé's wedding band for months now. He wants a specific type of material in the ring and they carry a brand that has that material! I can also customize the ring for him through that brand at their store. I was so happy when we found this gem! We just moved from Charlotte and I doubt we would've found a jewelry store as good as this one in Charlotte.

I got a permanent silver anklet from Barnhardt at the Cheerwine Festival. I absolutely love it. It’s beautiful and delicate. The staff were friendly and fast. Even on such a busy day I stood in line only for about 10 minutes. I hope I don’t have to cut it off anytime soon but they assured me it can be put back on if needed. And the pricing was very reasonable for a high quality peace of jewelry that should stay on me for a very long time. I would highly recommend them for permanent jewelry.

Best place around and local owned. Dealt with Cole and Debbie and had the best experience. They even rushed sizing because I’m flying out of country to propose so they could help make it happen. Also had bought from Kay and brought it in and they showed me a better ring with same specs for literally half of what the other place wanted and it had higher grade of cut and color for better price. So glad I stopped to see Cole and the crew to make sure I got the best deal and I did when I walked out of Barnhardt Jewlers! Coming back to get a band when I get back! My mother had passed down her wedding ring to me a couple years ago and the ring was beautiful but I wanted something that was a right hand ring still keeping a vintage look. Kristen was extremely helpful and custom designed a ring using the diamonds. My mother and I were both in awe of the final product! Can’t thank them enough for the guidance and help in creating a beautiful ring!

I brought a ring there for a simple polish and re-engraving job which should not take very long in my opinion. 2.5 weeks later? Nothing? "Come back in a few days" the counter girl says. I come back on scheduled date and still wasn't ready, and I was told to come back tomorrow. I took this personally and I asked for my ring back but I'm so glad everyone has such glowing reviews about this place though. Makes me wonder. If your counter girl undercharged me JUST SAY THAT!! I'll pay whatever it costs. If you don't serve Blacks JUST SAY THAT!! OR perhaps if you train those young girls standing around, doing nothing all day, on how to repair jewelry, you wouldn't be so far behind. ijs 3-4 weeks for a simple job is unacceptable. You have a nice place though!!! 🙄🙄

The staff at Barnhardt's are super friendly .. I have only had my jewelry fixed there and they do a excellent job plus you get it back very quickly.. They fixed my husband's chain and called me the next day to pick it up. Great service.

Very helpful, friendly folks. The young man that assisted me with selecting the item I was interested in may not had all the answers to my questions off the top of his head, but he had,and knew where the resources were to get the answers on his own! HE also did not try to over sell me when I chose something that he thought did not fit into what I was looking for. (From the beginning of our conversation) I'm thankful for a business that in this day and time that will not sell you something that doesn't fit your ideas or (needs so to speak) Just to make more money off of a sell!! In my opinion that is NOT something that is easy to find now a days. Thanks.

Always friendly courteous service. The repair work is the best around! Prices in the store are very fair, as well. It's a family business, and they treat you like family. Really sweet and friendly service at Barnhardt Jewelers and fast too! I dropped off my wedding ring to have prongs retipped. I was told my ring would be ready within 2 weeks. It was ready in 3 days!! I highly recommend this hometown jeweler!!

My setting was missing a small diamond which took away from the beauty of my ring.💍 Also the prongs caught on and snagged some of my clothing. I had been quoted a MUCH higher price elsewhere. I asked how long it might take to repair it, realizing this is a busy season for them. Debbie said about two weeks. Talk about under promising and OVER DELIVERING!! I received a call the very next afternoon that it was ready for pickup!🤗🤗 What a nice surprise!😁 The whole staff is very friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere here is very warm and friendly. Nice young people work here and are very quick to help. This store decorates beautifully for Holidays, too. Great service and professional staff there to help!!

Needed to have my wedding band worked on as it had bent a little on one side. Nothing major. Ring came back with visible impact marks and waves in the finish, possibly from a hammer to reform it. Hard to see in the pictures but clearly visible in person. The brushed finish was completely polished off. Then there's the issue of metal separating in the band of the ring (evidenced by the paper going in one side of the band and out the other). I called to address the issues and was met with a pretty harsh tone that bordered on disdain, or the disbelief I wouldn't be satisfied with poor result; as if I had done something wrong by asking for Barnhardt to fix what they messed up. Lady on the phone offered to put the brushed finish back on... It's hard to convince myself that this is even my ring... Won't be providing any more business here and hope they figure out the customer service part of being customer oriented.

Very courteous and helpful staff! All I had was battery replacements in four watches and needed one quickly so it was done while a waited, less than 10 minutes and inexpensively! Highly recommend! Great looking store too!

Barnhardt jewelers is one of a kind when it comes to Quality and custom pieces. And their staff is super friendly and helpful. My grandmother and mother had jewelry custom made by Debbie on and off for probably over 30 years. And those beautiful family heirlooms are still being enjoyed. Now Barnhardts is helping make memories for me and my husband. I honestly wouldn’t trust anywhere else.

Somewhat disappointing… I dropped off my engagement ring and band to get sized and I got one of them back unfinished. It’s all scratched up on the inside and they blurred out the engraving. It’s been sized before by another jeweler who did not leave it unfinished, so I’m not sure if there’s a legitimate reason it was left this way.
