Tons of amazing rock formations with a pretty backdrop and next to other important historical places. Parking is in the shade which keeps cars cool. The only downside when I went is that there were numerous people with heavy marijuana scents that diminished some of the enjoyment of being there.

Really amazing area to view! So many awesome rock sights and wonders. I'm sad at all the people who have carved their graffiti into the rocks, but it was still a beautiful area to look at. There were some climbing areas you could go on, and the area at sunset is beautiful! (And much cooler.) Take an easy walk and visit the central area! Or there are trails to hike as well. We also visited the balancing rock just after sunset. Beautiful scenery!

Be Aware of BREAK-INS! This is a beautiful park but please be aware of potential car break-ins! I was just at the park and returned to my car only to find someone had damaged my lock and opened the door (I know 100% it was definitely locked when I left and the lock is damaged beyond repair). I have no idea what they were after, but this is apparently a quick technique without having to smash a window! Please leave your valuables at home and lock your vehicles. Report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.

Absolutely one of the best places to visit in the United States. The scenery is amazing. People think you have to visit the Welcome center to get started, and that is not the case; you can go directly to the park's parking places to get your walking started. There is a hike you can take that will get you to a very high location that will give you great views of the mountains; specifically Pikes Peak, the tallest mountain in the contiguous US at 14,000 + ft. above sea level.

One of the best hiking spots I’ve ever been to and the highlight of my road trip across the US. Lots of amazing rock formations and great paved accesible hiking trails available to the public, for free. I also enjoyed the informational signs describing the history and geology of the location and loved climbing up some of the rocks! I highly recommend this place to anyone

One of my favorite spots in Colorado Springs. We spent 4days in town and each day would head up to Garden of the Gods for a early morning walk. So beautiful. Trails are well marked. Some easy and some moderate. We went once in the afternoon and it was busy. In the mornings we had the place to ourselves.

Amazing place close to Colorado Springs. A lot of trails with different levels of difficulty. Glad I decided to go there when I had an afternoon of free time. Parking close to the park is better if you want to go on a shorter trail

This place was amazing. The rock formations are amazing and it just makes you wonder how they got that way. The colors were so vivid red. The sky was so BLUE. It really felt so fake- as if I was looking a picture book. What a beautiful place. I didn't get to spend enough time there- but I promised myself to do it again one day.

Amazing! Beautifully preserved by the city and lots of information about the formations. Nicely maintained trails with amazing formations. Really cool place to visit with accessible walkways. Good family outing. Might have to wait for parking a little while but worth it.

Awesome place to take ur family. Lots of great red mountains and well marked trails/paved roads. U can have a small adventures here climbing little "rocky mountains". There r restrooms here. Depending on how long u want to go, u can choose appropriate trails here.
