Live Beyond Limit is a studio unlike any other in Fort Collins. Beyond the yoga and aerial class offerings there are other modalities available to help care for you in a more holistic way. As a teacher I find the studio and community a nurturing place where I have clarified my voice and become a more thoughtful and creative instructor. As a client I have been supported and loved though two pregnancies and the recovery after. The classes have helped me reconnect to my body and gain strength back. Energy work with Kate allowed me to find peace though the changes and uncertainty. I am forever grateful for the family I have found at Live Beyond Limit.

After my second lower back surgery two years ago, I met Kate, we talked in depth about what they did with my back, and how a specialized yoga therapy could help with my back by increasing my core strength. We started slowly and carefully based on my issues. Two years later, I'm doing aerial yoga, inverting in silks and feeling much stronger and confident about my back. All the ppl here are great. I've taken privates from Kate and others. They talk so each one knows my situation before training. I've referred many to come here, my wife for one. She has been going almost two years as well. I'm so greatful to have met this amazing group of people!

I joined this community shortly after moving to Fort Collins and am so glad I did! I had never done aerial or aerial yoga in my life, and all of the LBL instructors are so patient and supportive as I learn and grow my skills. The community here in general is just so kind and welcoming! The "regular," on-the-ground yoga classes also have such a great balance on both physical and mental form, and I've been able to learn so much. Highly recommend checking out any class here - I've loved them all!

It’s been hard for me to find a studio in Fort Collins that isn’t hyper fitness focused or heated classes. I FINALLY feel like I found a studio that actually has traditional mind, body, spirit connection. Kate is just sunshine in human form talk about a genuine and kind human.

I’d never tried aerial yoga before. I did my third class today, and I’m feeling pretty hooked. The instructors at Live Beyond Limit are so helpful for newbies, without seeming to slow down the more experienced folks, and Kate especially is awesome at recognizing that when I’m not doing a thing, it’s probably because going upside down is scary but a spotter is all I really need - her reassurance let me try everything even the first class, which was really invigorating and fun. I’m loving that the silks let me get into inversions, something I’ve never managed on the floor. I’ve gone to a few non-aerial classes here too, and they’ve been really nice too - the vibe I look for in relaxing yoga classes.

Live Beyond Limit has a special place in my heart. I met Kate when I lived in Fort Collins a few years ago. After moving West, I was able to reunite with Kate in Costa Rica for one of her yoga retreats. A week of pure healing and bliss! Not only is Kate one of the most caring, thoughtful and intuitive healers and instructors, she attracts like minded spirits at her studio that share their own unique talents and gifts. Live Beyond Limit’s Virtual classes have been such a treat for me to reconnect. Although the ambiance of the studio and the guidance isn’t in person, you’ll still receive the session you need as if you’re physically there if you can’t be. I highly recommend this studio whether attending on site sessions or virtually as they support you to live beyond your limit.

I moved to Fort Collins after an initial year of aerial yoga classes in Portland, and found this studio to continue with my new love of aerial arts. I was immediately embraced, supported and encouraged. I have learned a lot and grown in this studio, and have dabbled not only in aerial yoga and other yoga classes, but in aerial silks and circus arts as well. I have formed friendships with staff and students here, and have even trained as a teacher recently and have begun teaching classes. This yoga and circus family is a key component to my feelings of belonging in Fort Collins and feeling empowered to become the best version of myself and challenge myself to overcome what I previously saw as limitations. The name is true! At Live Beyond Limit, there is no limit to where one can go and what one can become-- body, mind and spirit.

Live Beyond Limit is not just an aerial studio. I it is a community. I joined about a year ago taking lyra lessons, and I had no idea I would become so involved! I was immediately welcomed and supported. I have never been flexible or good at gymnastics-type moves that I thought were required for aerial acrobatics, but the intro lyra instructor, Nicole, was so helpful and accommodating. Then the studio owner, Kate, recoginzed my dedication and asked me to be a part of their ambient art night performance. Being considered for their performance boosted by confidence substantially, and I felt very supported! One night, I chatted with Kate and mentioned that I wanted to teach hoop dance classes. I wasn't even thinking about teaching at the studio, but she told me that she wanted to create a community and would be open to letting me teach there too! Now I am an instructor, and I couldn't be happier to share my skills with the community. The owner makes sure that classes are affordable for everyone. Many classes and packages include a sliding scale so that people can pay what they can afford. There are also donation classes in which people can pay whatever they are comfortable paying. As a low-income graduate student, I very much appreciate this consideration! Aside from lessons and performances, the studio often has workshops, game nights, parties, and other social events. Community members frequently seek advice from each other and exchange items no longer needed with each other. I'm very glad to have joined this community. If you want to get involved and don't know how, talk to any instructor or member. Or just walk through the door! You will likely be greated by the wonderful desk staff or the owner herself, maybe her dog too!

My daughter took three silks class and two aerial hoop classes before I enrolled her in the five-day circus camp. At the end of the five days she gave a four-minute choreographed silks performance that left me with tears streaming down my face in front of all the parents gathered to watch their children. The peaceful and patient instructors encourage exploration and creativity while guiding skill development and confidence. 10/10 recommend.

Everyone here is so friendly and accepting. It has become one of my safe spaces and I am so grateful I found them. I highly recommend giving their classes a try even if it is something totally new to you!
