Had a great time here. Machines are are in working order. The fighting games certainly take alot of abuse from super wasted patrons. Nice beer and liquor selection. My favorite pinball machine was stranger things, but they have a-lot of amazing pinball and popular arcade. Cant wait to come back here on my next visit soon. Line to go inside was only a few minutes long. No cover charge.

I just have to say that this place was incredibly awesome. Drinks and games are all on point. Such a beautiful blast from the past with all the classic arcade games and the variety of pinball machines. Definitely recommend this place for some drinks and games.

What a great basement dive to relive the 80s/90s (with the potential exception of including a full service bar. That might not have gone over as well with a room full of minors back then...) The selection of games covers many classics and are both console and pinball with a few other types thrown in. The bar brew and drinks are higher quality but you still could possibly find PBRs here. Great place to just be and live in the moment.

Great spot if you want to relive your childhood memories! They have a good selection of beers and the staff are really friendly/helpful. The place can get crowded though so arrive early to make sure you spend the maximum amount of time playing games!

Service here is great, was kinda disappointed they didn’t have food when google has them listed as a restaurant. Overall great time nonetheless and amazing happy hour

Great drinks and reasonable price for the arcade. One of my favorite places to meet new people and hang out in downtown Denver.

I had such a fun time here! It was my first time at 1UP and I definitely had my $20-worth of fun. I spent a good chunk of time at the iconic Godzilla pinball machine. My friend and I enjoyed duking it out at the basketball hoops, although if you’re unused to a crowd (everyone wants a turn with the hoops) looking while you’re playing, I’d stick with another station. I also got to play the classic Pac-Man and Street fighter games. I didn’t grow up going to the arcades, so it was a novel and enjoyable experience being here. The dive bar vibes were also on point. After we exhausted ourselves with the games, my friend and I hung out at one of their tables and chatted. I think it’d be a great place to hang out alone on a weeknight. I could see myself spending hours on one of those pinball machines with no care to the world. I like that it’s a place where you can spend time with friends but also a place where you can fly solo under the radar.

My wife and I love this place. We enjoyed playing Pac-Man for hours and playing some pinball machines. This is a must when coming to Colorado. They also have twisted tea on tap

We were happy to find a place to play some pinball near our Airbnb. They were cool with us bringing our 9 month old in until 6pm when it becomes adults only. Totally get it. The arcade seemed to be about 1/2 pinball 1/2 arcade games and the games take quarters or tokens at the same value. We had fun and would recommend spending an hour or two in there pumping quarters. Cheers!

So fun! Lots of vintage games, pinball and others! The bar had fun drink options including slush puppies! Moat games were only a quarter. You can definitely gwt your nostalgia fix here.

Visiting Denver, I saw 1Up Arcade and Bar nearby. Curious, I checked out its website, which will show you what games are available once you choose a location. I was completely hooked when I saws CarnEvil and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker! These are two ultra rare units so I was very excited to play them again after literal decades. They had neither unit on the premises. Additionally, both Ghostbusters and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 appear on their website for this location; neither of these is here, either. The games list on a website is crucial in attracting customers to your arcade. I still managed to have fun with the other units, but it was very disappointing not finding what had been advertised on their website.

Fun, classic games, cold drinks, and a loud soundtrack just like an old arcade. There are a ton of arcade and pinball games and a handful of group games (Mario Kart and Pac-Man). It does get busy and seems small at first but there's room enough to wander and explore, and chill with friends in one of their large booths or other nooks. Great bar. Mar 2023

Went twice this weekend, it was so fun. Bartenders are great, drinks are good. I would've given 5 stars if they had dos Equis and if the bouncer wasn't rude to my step son about his ID being void. Had to download the app just to prove it wasn't .. do better ..

This place was suggested when we came into town. I am not disappointed either. It was well down memory lane with the arcade games. The pizza was good, too. The server was great!

Great service, staff was nice and when we accidents spilled a drink and cup they quickly came to clean it up and even offered a replacement. Don’t put your drink on the slanted games, there are small drink ledges in between :) $20 for a bag of tokens wasn’t bad and they lasted us a couple of hours. Even when they picked up and got busier we still have plenty of options for games. Fun place to have some fun cocktails and play some games!

It’s a really cute hole in the wall arcade bar. Not much more to say. Super cute date night idea, and the pickle Rick and princess peach are both really good drinks

Fun place to play old-school games. Small building. Limited games, mostly pinball, and of course, the rip-off games. Drink service is slow, and usually overcrowded making service slow. Overall fun, but be very ready to be shoulder to shoulder. Some games were broke, but yet still active to play. 3 stars, would recommend to certain friends.

With a slow Monday, Hanna definitely made our groups night. All of the games were fun and it took little to no time to get exactly what we all needed at the bar. Love this spot, will definitely come back! Great for dates by the way, met many cool people that made the experience all the better!

Stopped by for happy hour (on Sunday) and had a blast. Happy hour primarily offers a variety of cheap shots. There's also a good variety of games there, which are generally well priced. At other arcade bars around I'm hard pressed to find games for 25¢, but there were quite a few here.

If you like classic arcade gaming, food, and drinks, 1up is it! Went on St. Patrick's night. And I feel like the menu is reasonable w/prices. And meeting nice people is a plus.

Classic arcade bar with old school and new school games. The games are pretty well kept and the vibe was exactly what you'd expect

Definitely a cool bar for all you arcade loving people out there! From the bar scene, to the old school and new school games it has many choices to please a variety. Don't forget the giant size Jenga and connect four on the back porches! Drinks were delicious to boot! This bar is centered downtown definitely go too! Only downside was the lack of seating, but if your playing you don't really need to sit 😉

Great place for pinball and old school arcade games. It has a good selection of domestic beers (including Rainier which is a favourite of mine) as well as a good selection of 40oz beers as well. The staff were really friendly as well.

Sooo fun with great vibes and fun employees. Only wish there were more Mario cart machines as there were lines for them. They have atms and change machines to use the arcade games. You need to use quarters or purchase tokens through the change machines $1 = 4 tokens. They check your ID before you enter. Cheap drinks too!

Really cool hangout spot in downtown that’s situated between lots of other bars, street vendors, and walking distances to other cool locations. The bar itself has a cool aesthetic, however can get crowded very quickly, so you may feel awkward waiting for a group to finish playing their games or get their drinks and may be waiting a while. Otherwise, I haven’t seen a greater arcade game selection anywhere else in a barcade at least in Colorado!

My and my ole lady is visiting from out of town. Looked up bars with games, etc. and found this one. We wanted to give it a shot. Let me tell you, it was an absolutely best experience for anyone who loves arcade games. (1#)They have alot of old and new ones! Best part, each game is very reasonable price(tokens). If you dont have cash, you can add it to your bar tap. (Which works out best since we never carry cash). (2#) door guy and staff was really really nice, out going, and even funny. Any questions we had, they where there to answer them. (3#) really great atmosphere. Definitely when we come back to visit Denver, CO, we will for sure be coming back!
