I’ll start from positive the food was perfect just like I ordered. Sad to say service was poor When came in wait at the table for good sold 20 min to get my drink order. They didn’t know I was there until the lady that was sitting me down came up and ask if I was taken care of I had Menu in front of me so it was obvious nobody came up and talk to me. I order a Bourbon Burger🍔 I recommend it. The guy that brought my burger out I asked him to tell Miss I want a refill I never got the refill and I was there at the Restaurant about an hour. I had room for dessert so I order a dessert and the chocolate and cream was spilling I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to do that also didn’t get any soul where to eat the dessert with. but the food was really delicious and then I want to use the restroom when I came back the food was gone the server offered me to take one of the items off the list by size fine is K staff is being engage with the customers talking a lot between each other.

The server was horrible. She never greeted us, just walked up to the table and said are you ready to order? We said no we just sat down? She is oh well I didn't know how long you've been here.... With attitude....And then through out our whole experience I said thank you at least 6 times and I never once got a your welcome or anything. The food was pretty good! Little small proportioned. But drinks took forever. And I actually had to ask for water. I don't think we'll be going back..

Dropped in for lunch on a day that a cook was unhappy, not sure if they are still employed. The challenges in food service staff is great these days, hope they figure out staffing soon. Wait staff was very good and the manager adjusted our bill because it took 45 min for our lunch and the place was not crowded. May want to gauge the atmosphere before sitting down for a meal. Otherwise BL is always a great place for Happy Hour or a bite. Wish these guys good luck here as it would be a great place without the cooking staff hiccups.

So I was craving snacks foods and this place hit the spot. Our server Matthew was great. He was very personable and accommodating with last min requests. We got the chicken nachos as an appetizer(best I've ever had) Lemon Cesar salad and the Mac n cheese dish We got a Moscow mule and a mudslide, both were delicious. This is a classy looking lounge, would be fun to bring employees out for a team building dinner or mom and dad for a celebration, could even be a cool place to go on a first date.

The music playlist was the best part. The blackened shrimp tacos weren't bad but I feel like the description wasn't accurate. I tasted parsley instead of cilantro that was supposed to be used. The mango tea isn't sweet. My salad took at least 20 minutes to come out. It wasn't busy but it took a good 5+ minutes to be seated because no one came to the host stand although there was a sign that said "wait to be seated." Also I didn't see the server very often. I love the donut holes though even though it could use more cinnamon sugar.

First off I want to say the food was delicious. That will be the only reason we give it another try. The reason for the 3 stars and I am sure it was just ab off night was the service. We just felt rushed the entire time while we were there. And they were not hurting for seats they had a ton of open tables. I hadn't even gotten sat down to look at the menu and the waitress already wanted to take our drink order. I asked if we could have a couple of minutes and the waitress rolled her eyes and walked away. When she came back she was like was that enough time??? She really wanted to turn our table over for an empty restaurant. Hopefully it isn't like this all the time.

We stopped in for something different and they delivered. Highly recommend this place. We had the cheese steak sandwich and a grilled cheese with tomato soup, the pretzel appetizer and split the voodoo pasta. All were absolutely delicious and the staff was super friendly even though we wandered in after a rough workweek looking very much exhausted and bedraggled. Many thanks it was a nice break.

It's split on the good and bad. The drinks are irrefutably amazing. The gastroburger is an easy go to for a good meal. The seared salmon is delectable. The "mac'n'soup", not so much. The waitstaff was attentive and tried to get it fixed, I was brought the same bowl of Mac just drained and a ton of garnish for literally no reason. I asked for a substitute and the sweet potato tots saved the day. After having to send food back twice, I was surprised to see I was still charged full price for the mac'n'soup?!

My tia and I came in this past Sunday for a quick drink and appetizer, everything was great! The bartender was attentive, friendly and he made ours drinks really good! It was my first time ordering a Bloody Mary and it was amazing! The fried pickles were also really delicious.

My friend and I were in town for work and I brought him here just to see Jasmine. Of course she did not disappoint. She is so amazing! She always welcomes us with the biggest smile and just so happy she makes the best Old Fashion ever!!! Love her to bits!!!!

I met the most wonderful bartender I could ever had met. Her name is Jasmine and if you ever go to this restaurant, I’m sure she will make your day. She made mine with the most wonderful smile and warm welcoming I could ever ask for from a bartender and the drinks were great as well. Will be returned. Thank you Jasmine for a wonderful experience.

Amazing atmosphere. We wanted to sit at the indoor fire pit, and our beautiful waitress had someone come light it and get us situated in less than 2 minutes of asking. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of our requests (we were a little needy). Our waitress even moved a small table close to us so we could place our food near us since they undestandably don't allow food at the fire pit. The food was good, light bar and finger foods and the drinks were great and they kept them coming. We will definitely go back!

Jasmine is an absolute rockstar behind the bar. Her drinks are simply outstanding, and her friendly nature adds an extra sparkle to the whole experience. I can't recommend her enough! If you're looking for a top-notch bartender who knows how to create amazing drinks and make you feel welcome, Jasmine is your go-to. Cheers to her talent and the fantastic service she provides! 🍹🎉

Good food at a decent priced place. Very chill vibe and the staff were super friendly, attentive and fast service. I'll def come again.

There weren't many people in the place, but for some reason the servers didn't pay us attention. Hostess said we'd be seated around 8pm and at 8:20 we stood at the bar where no one said anything to us, but then a new individual walked up and was immediately served right in front of us. The place was 70% to 80% empty but for some reason our party of 5 were looked over. We left and walked down to Brother's. Place was packed but they still immediately acknowledged us and would follow up to let us know they were still trying to sit us & get us served even though they were really busy.

Dropped in for lunch, food and drinks were tasty and service was good. The manager came by our table and said if we fill in a survey they would cover a round of our drinks. A few of us filled in the survey in detail which took about 5mins, however when paying the bill the server said she would sort that out after, charged us for everything and then came back to tell us she needed to speak to the manager, and did not come back. We had to get back to work so had to leave. Pretty much a scam.

Response to Owner: The experience could have been made better with the beer selection. Multiple beers were tapped out, and the ones that were available were “pouring foamy”, affecting the taste of the beer. When I asked for the happy hour/late night menu, I was first told by the bartender that there wasn’t one, then he stated he had to go find one. He came and tossed the the happy hour menu down. Not a huge deal, but multiple little things that were not great added up, resulting in the three star review.

The waitress was coughing on our food. She clearly was sick and needed to go home, but they were understaffed. So we waited 30 minutes for drinks, 45 minutes for the manager to change the channel. Kudos to the chef, the tacos were awesome.

Decided to stop by and give it a try. Ordered a margarita which tasted pretty good. Was sat down asap, given a menu and drink on the spot. Service was great, food tasted well too. Will definitely have to stop by again in the near future.

The atmosphere is nice and the food is okay but the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. We had to seek out our server every time we ordered or wanted a refill. The table next to us had to ask the manager if we had a server in our section. I’ve served before and am understanding. If it were busy I would be even more understanding. My food came out cold and sent it back. Kinda wish I just went somewhere else.

A great experience with Shawn our server , definatly will go again. The food was fabulous. The staff was wonderful.

Can't mess up bottomless mimosas!!! Service was nice and it wasn't overly busy. I'd recommend getting the Voodoo Pasta. It was delicious!! The fish and chips looked good as well!! Nice menu variety.

This is a really good restaurant that has epic fish-and-chips they did run into a little bit of trouble with the alcohol bureau and will be without spirits for 10 days.. but the food is great and the staff super friendly.. I will come back for sure

We ordered the beef sliders and the voodoo pasta. The sliders were pretty good. The pasta was spicy but needed more salt. The shrimps and the sausage were delicious.

Stopped by for afternoon drinks on a Saturday...great throwback music, decent enough service and great prices. If I was staying longer in town I'd have gone back for their night drink specials. Had the Louie Cosmo and loved it.

Love this place! Their happy hour and daily specials are incredible, especially for the Northfield area. Highly recommend coming here for date night.

Friendly service, our waiter was so polite and interacted with my 6 & 2 yr old which is always appreciated. The vibe was fun, I didn’t feel like bringing kids in for dinner around 6pm was an inconvenience to the other patrons. They had high chairs and a good kids menu with coloring and crayons. My youngest’s Mac n cheese was out after everyone else’s food and it tasted burnt. Not a huge deal, since 2 yr olds barely eat anyway but woulda been cool if it was out first bc kids take forever to even decide if they are hungry. Probably just a rare kitchen over-site bc it seemed like our waiter was on top of it.

Loved the drinks and beef sliders for appetizers. Our waiter was awesome. It was also very refreshing to see the manager being very hands on and helping staff clear the tables during a very busy happy hour. I will be back for sure.

The food was full of flavor. The drink was crisp and refreshing although I thought a happy hour special would mean a discounted drink not $13. The bar tenders and servers were patient and kind. The place has a unique atmosphere.

Up until last week, I had never gone into Bar Louie. I had dismissed it all together, even though I've lived near the Northfield area for over 10 years. I am so glad that I finally made it in. During both of my experiences, Alejandro was the bartender who made my drinks. He did a wonderful job. I often have a bad habit of not knowing what I want, but he made me up a lovely cocktail after the vaguest description of things I like in a drink. He was timely and extremely sweet, in addition to being very skilled behind the bar. Juliana was my server, and she had a wonderful demeanor and made sure that I was taken care of--checking in periodically about my food and water situation--even though she was busy with other tables. She, along with the other servers I saw throughout my time there, handled the rush hour with grace. The food was excellent, and I can't believe I've never eaten there before. I've now gone back for the French Dip a few times. The prices were great, the service was wonderful, and everything was delicious! Thank you so much for being such a pleasant surprise!

REALLY good food and great service!! Stopped in while visiting from Las Vegas, Nevada. We visit Denver often so we'll be back!!

Drinks were great and tasty, food came out quick but the best part is to get the donuts to end in a great note. Thank you Shawn for always taking great care of us.

Food was good. The flat bread pizza was very good. The service wasnt that great for as many servers that were there. The bathroom and back of house seating smelt like sewage.

I’m periodically in town for training so my watering hole is always BL. Superstar Jasmine is always so friendly and warm when I come into the bar. She makes 5 star old fashions and never disappoints. The rest of the staff are cool too, but Jasmine exceeds expectations. Pretty chill vibe as well.
