This review is for the $8.00 burger and fries - it is a great deal for a great burger and fries. This place has a great feel to it. I would recommend sitting inside rather than outside unless you want more entertainment than you were looking for…..

Prohibition is good. We went with a large group and they were accommodating. It wouldn’t be the first place I recommend in Denver. It seems to be in a rough part of town— no parking. Bar service only. Food was ok, nothing super special. I got the short rib sandwich as that was recommended to me. It was fine. Large whiskey selection. I’d eat there again if I had to but I am certainly not rushing back!

Was fun to come to a Triple D spot our first night in Denver. We came for the short-rib sandwich an it didn’t disappoint but I have to say they knock it out of the ballpark with their brussel sprouts!! Fun place!

More focused on friends outside than to service inside. Not only that, I paid cash, and she still charged my card. Sad people have to steal to make money.

Ordered 2 Rib sandwiches was closed out immediately, then when we were done eating I was literally asked if we paid? Later that night I was charged on my card again..... the blonde bartender was high no doubt... good food but she's only working because of her looks.

This place feels more like a sports bar rather than a prohibition style speakeasy. The drink menu is decent and priced appropriately but they do have a good variation of spirits so they should be able to make any cocktail. I ordered their Evil Eye Rye drink which was good. I also ordered their burger which was decent but their fries were a disappointment. Overlall, I would have gave it 5 stars had it been a true speakeasy style bar.

I’m almost afraid to leave this review in order to keep the secret but... this place is one of the best brunches in town. Hands down. Prohibition is often the answer after seeing a long line at some other trendy spot and then remembering to skip it and go to this go-to. It’s also home to one of the best sandwiches in town: the house pastrami. Which can also be found for brunch in the pastrami hash. On top of that, this is a great sports bar. I’m not a big typical sports bar fan even though I love sports. This is the perfect combo of great food, good cocktails and they’ll have my game on.

Came here with a few coworkers for happy hour on Taco Tuesday. We tried most food items on the happy hour menu, we loved everything! The brussel sprouts with bacon and pecans were and polenta were unexpected hits! The tacos were a little small, but we had so much food, it didn't matter too much. $5 margs were another plus. Great atmosphere. Good service.

Friendly staff, top quality scratch ingredients. An excellent hamburger for when you want premium grade beef.

It's a bar with character and a good selection on the shelf. Short rib sandwich came recommended and I was impressed by how tender it was, if not a bit too salty for my tastes.

Such a cool bar! Also thanks to the amazing staff that let me DoorDash hot wings in after the kitchen closed. They bartenders were super friendly. The cocktails were delicious. I’d totally recommend you check them out when you’re in Denver!

Stopped by here for brunch after visiting the nearby Margaret Brown home. The burger was amazing and I really loved the shoestring fries. I would definitely recommend visiting. Friendly and nice service as well!

Came in here for an Arnold Palmer spiked and Spencer served me with the ultimate cocktail told me it was called a John Dailey and it was perfect. The setup was perfect. The bar is open and perfect for socialization. Will definitely come back.

I love great veggie burgers and they did not disappoint. Absolutely loved their food and drinks. Sit on the patio and take in all the people watching Colfax has to offer. From street fights to homeless characters you won’t be disappointed with the top notch people watching. Would highly recommend trying this restaurant! We called in after a long day travelling as it was just along the road from our accommodation. Great food, service and beer - what more could you want and all at a reasonable price. Big screens showing sport as well.

Best bar food ever! Fried pickles roasted brussel sprouts with bacon bits, street Mexican corn. So yum! Great, friendly service. Knowledgeable bar tenders. Patio.

I really love this place because it's very chill. All of the people are so nice and welcoming to new people. The playlist always hits. Spencer is the goat - he always remembers my favorite drink and he makes the only gin drink I've tried and actually liked. Also as a woman I feel safe here. The staff will definitely have your back if you feel sketched out. This is *the* neighborhood spot. Love it here and I'll keep coming

Only been here once so far and LOVED it. Got the chicken sandwich. I wish I had ordered another plate it was so tasty! I don't even drink and I would return for the food. My party (who does drink) all said their food was delicious as were their drinks! Definitely returning.
