I was a little worried because when I think creole I think about grits and seafood, which I don't love. They have those, but also a lot more here. The highlight for me was the potatoes and the biscuit. I'm normally not a biscuit guy but this was so fluffy and delicious I would've loved more. The potatoes are perfectly seasoned and so so good. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We went for brunch today, and we had a pretty good experience. We got lucky and found street parking right in front of the restaurant. The wait to get in was around 10 or 15 minutes, which wasn't too bad, considering the nice weather outside. Once we got to our table, it took a small while for our server to come by, but no harm done. The host explained they are a bit understaffed, so we were completely fine with it waiting a bit longer. The food and drinks were splendid! We started with some biscuits and beignets. With the jams that are on each table, they were delicious. The Bloody Mary was tasty, and the mimosa with fresh-squeezed orange juice tasted different than at any other place in town, in a good way. The Eggs Benedict and shrimp & grits tasted good, too.

Cozy southern restaurant. Nice outdoor seating. The biscuits are phenomenal. Unique menu with plenty options. The shrimp and grits was incredible. Their bloody Mary’s are amazing and very interesting. Everyone must try! The best Southern brunch in Denver. Hands down.

This place was such a vibe. I mean wow. I was impressed with the flavors of my andouille po boy. I typically don’t like peppers but the entire thing was to die for. Home on a plate. The beignets were a bit heavy and dense unlike the ones in New Orleans but they were still good! The atmosphere here was great. I cannot wait to go back.

Cami was awesome! Food was delicious, good sized portions, large fresh biscuits. Home fries were the best. Cajun Breakfast was superb. Beignets-oh my! Pancakes were real. Excellent hot proprietary hot sauce.

This is creole food for people who do not know what creole food is! Palatable for suburbia. Famous for biscuits not beignets. The praline syrup had the consistency of slime and didn't taste like praline. The bathrooms smelled like an old outhouse, and the service was terrible and was frustrated that I requested an item on the menu they had posted outside at the entrance like a new customer is supposed to know its outdated!! The jalapeño cheese grits were the best thing and even those were a 4/10. Authentic this place is not. It's for non- adventurous eater to look like they are at a grass roots style restaurant, but still order granola! Don't waste your money or time. We spend a min $60-$100 per meal as a couple (drinks etc). This was not worth the $35 paid. If nothing else, they got the price point right! FYI - 90% of the menu contains pork.

If you didn't know southern creole styled dishes exist in Denver, now you do. This place has definitely brought creole inspired dishes to the middle of America! It's worth the visit if you're into satisfying your palate.

Damn good food. Get the Palisade peach pancake special while you can. I haven’t had better pancakes in my life. It’s absolutely delightful. Peach slices are cooked into the tender, fluffy pancakes, and it’s topped with an airy whipped cream. The biscuits and gravy plate with red beans, some potato, and jalapeño cheddar grits was also very delicious. The dish didn’t need anything, but the homemade hot sauce really took it up a notch. This is definitely worth a visit if you want a hearty breakfast. You will not leave hungry or dissatisfied.

Great service. This is the spot for a classic New Orleans Creole Breakfast/Brunch. The beignets are a slice of Divinity 😇, the Cajun Mary's with the pickle infused Vodka is diabolically delicious 🥒😈. Make sure you put some of the strawberry house jam on your buttermilk biscuits. 🍓🍞

Great place to have breakfast! The service is great, the staff is attentive, and the wait time was not too long for a Saturday morning. The coffee with oat milk is flavorful and the food is absolutely savory. I had the Bennifer and my husband had the French toast. Both dishes were great!

I have tried other locations of Lucille's. This has been my best experience so far. The food, feeling and setup seems to try build itself up I can see the are working at being better in all of these areas. Also, good coffee.

Believe the hype—his place is darn good. They have a nice outdoor set up, which was perfect for our mid morning breakfast. The biscuits. I don’t want to be disloyal to any of my Southern family but I can’t lie: they’re the best I’ve ever had. Anywhere. Whisper soft on the inside, textured and crispy outside, and the slightest perceptible tang from the buttermilk. The other dishes were great as well. It was the best food we had in Denver, hands down.

Popular breakfast spot in Denver with great service and food. Expect a wait on the weekends. Everything was very tasty and came to us quickly. They know what they're doing here to make bellies happy and full!

Amazing food, such good quality for the pricing. Parking can be tricky since it's street parking. Suggest you make reservations if a large party. The staff is always nice and they have the best bloody mary's you will find. We go here for brunch and will continue to recommend this place to anyone looking for a new brunch spot.

Lucile’s was good to us! The biscuits along with a little butter, apple butter, or the delicious jams they offer are unmatched! My partner Greg enjoyed the Creole breakfast with a side of pan fried trout; flavor was wonderful and the fish was light and fresh. The breading was a perfect compliment, not overpowering! The eggs sardou was new to me, and while I probably wouldn’t order it again, was quite tasty. The server recommended adding grilled shrimp- that was a good call! We loved the down home feel, and were even allowed to take a little piece back home with us in a strawberry hanker-chief! 😍🍓 Will definitely return anytime we’re in the area. Oh, and there’s a super cute plant shop across the street if you’re into that sorta thing! 🌱✨

If I had the time I would go here twice on my trip. The food here is wonderful, the biscuits are amazing. Service is friendly, and everything feels like southern hospitality. Make sure to order biscuits and beignets ! I had the eggs Jennifer with biscuits and gravy, the grits with jalapenos cheddar were absurdly good.

Service was excellent, and the location is great, particularly the patio / outdoor area they have. Food is very well made, but lacks a lot of the seasoning I'm hoping for and used to from Creole food - the blackened salmon I had, for instance, needed both a bit more salt and some lemon juice or other acid (both of which were provided on request). Otherwise a great breakfast spot, particularly as a scratch kitchen making everything possible on-site.

A knock out from start to finish. The service was stellar. The food was amazing. Everything came out quickly. The prices were great especially for the portions. The shrimp and grits are to die for. The biscuits melt in your mouth. The spicy bloody mary is a must and don’t forget to start with beignets!!

This was a little cute place right on the corner. We got there and was seated. We decided to eat outside it was nice and the sun wasn't bad. The lady told us everything was homemade from the jam and hot sauce all the way up to the biscuits. We did not like the food it had no taste the sausage gravy was good. Then I gave the waitress 80.10 and she didn't bring my change back until I asked for it. Will not be back here.

This place is a must visit! The Creole breakfast and shrimp and grits was out of this world. Fresh juices and house made jams, great service, full bar, homey space.

Had brunch at about 1pm on a Saturday. Maybe a 5 min wait. Amazing food!! Our first time here, and we're excited and looking forward to coming back and making it point to try just about everything on the menu!

I love this place for having breakfast. The staff is friendly; the orange juice fresh squeezed; the food is delicious; and the wait is not long. The staff is a group of mostly young folks who are friendly and energetic. They work so fast to serve you food that my son jokingly calls it the 5 min cafe: in and out in 5 mins. My favorite is the eggs Benedict with potatoes that are just delicious. It also comes with Canadian bacon.
