So my husband and I, because of work, were not able to have a day of Valentine's dinner. This is our first Valentine's as a married couple, so we wanted to go to the nicest place in-town - Shanahan's - and got a late reservation and wrote a note giving context. The servers recognized the note and kept track of us, thanking us for choosing them for our Valentine's Day meal! Better yet, Natalia - the best server I have ever had in all my travels - went out of her way to make sure we had as close to a perfect experience as possible. Food was excellent. Octopus was so good the hubby thought it was chicken at first, which I laughed hard about. The crab cake was all crab and so good. The steak.... I have never had a better steak in my life! And the wine, dessert, and everything else that fell in with the meal was just..... Perfect. Thank you for a great meal, Shanahan's and thank you for such wonderful care and service, Natalia! If you have $s to spend, spend it here.

Food is not all that. We went for the experience, and that was wonderful. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. They made our night special. Food is WAY WAY WAY overpriced, and the seafood is downright disappointing. Seafood tower had lobster tails that were smaller than the shrimp. DO NOT SPEND MONEY on Foie Gras. $14, and it was the size of a quarter. They also charged me for 2. Steak is better at Longhorn Steakhouse. When the sides are the best thing you eat all night, there is a problem. +$600 bill, with only 2 drinks for 2 people, is robbery for the food we received. One and done.

Brandon was amazing waiter! The lobster was my fav and our steak was cooked to perfection! The valet makes parking easy but they also have a lot which is located in the nearby parking garage! Pro tip: order the key lime pie to share!

This is my first time eating here, and I am super impressed. I loved seeing the Lombardi Trophies along with the rings. The NY strip was so good as was the cream of corn. Armando, our server, was awesome and helpful. I also liked that I didn't have to wear slacks to eat here. All around a great experience.

Had a date night at Shanahan’s with my mom last night and we both ordered the filet mignon. It was the best steak I have ever had and the black truffle Mac n cheese was delicious. I would go back to order that 100 times!

Finally got to experience Shanahan's, and I can't believe I've never been here before. Everything was delicious, the bread, the wine, the spinach, garlic mashed potatoes the halibut, the carrots, and an amazing creme brulee for dessert. The service was excellent, the ambiance was upbeat, bathrooms clean. Everything was top notch. Oh, and my friend loved her steak, that's what most people come here for, I'm sure. Also, if you're short, you might want to sit at a table with chairs, as the booths are designed for tall people like football players. ;)

Top restaurant to be! So pleased with the quality of food and service OMG! My sea bass… 🥹🫣 I’m like drooling!!!! Delicious! The service was 1000%. Scott was awesome. From his presence, genuine smile and knowledge about the restaurant. Wow! Thank god I fly for work because I will come here just for this restaurant!

Shanahan's ranks as one of my favorite steak houses of all time. For starters we had oysters and scallops. Both were fresh and delicious. Steaks are excellent; we've eaten rib-eye, filets, and New York strip, and each was cooked perfectly. Salads were very fresh. The staff was very attentive. Near the entrance are super bowl trophies and rings on display.

Wonderful food! The wagyu rib eye satay was my favorite on the menu, I'll definitely be ordering this on every visit from now on. My steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were perfect in portion with an amazing taste. The service was great, our server was very attentive. Update: we went back for my birthday and I'm not sure what happened but it was a 180 from our last experience. The food continues to be pricey but this time it was bland. Our server was nowhere to be found. Since this visit I've had a chance to experience other places with a similar menu and price range. I'm updating this review to reflect my experience.

From the moment we stepped into Shanahan’s, it was clear we were in for a treat. The atmosphere was inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. We started with the Lobster Bisque and French Onion Soup, both of which were a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying. The bisque was creamy with generous chunks of lobster, and the onion soup had just the right amount of cheese, beautifully melted and golden. The main course, a bone-in filet mignon, was cooked to perfection. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth experience, showcasing the high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. Accompanying the steak, the Truffle Mac and Cheese was a revelation – creamy, rich, and infused with the luxurious aroma of truffles. But what truly set this meal apart was the service. Our server, Maddy, was exceptional. Her attention to detail, knowledge of the menu, and warm personality greatly enhanced our experience. She was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our evening was seamless. In summary, Shanahan’s is a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience. The combination of exquisite food, a warm ambiance, and stellar service makes it a standout. We’ll certainly be back for more!!

Went there for special occasion, it's nice that they put something special on the table to enhance the experience, and gave us a surprise dessert to celebrate. While I appreciated all that, my meals were kind of hit and miss. No, we did not want to complain nor send the food back because it was personal preference. For example, there is something we could not figure out on carrot cakes that we just don't really care about. Similar thing with my fish. The ambiance is also more industrial than romantic for my taste. I was glad to get seated where I could see outside the window. But there was a big tent outside the window, so it's basically just a white background. And there was other personal thing that I personally like that I did not get to experience. On the other hand, other food we ordered were great. I also like the fact that their booth seats do not have a dip on it, and we got leftovers packaged for us, such thing a rarely nowadays even at restaurants that used to do that but not doing that anymore with their shortage of workers. In summary, Shanahan's Steakhouse is better than just good. It just not becomes one of my favorites.

Went for New Year’s Day. First time there where open for the holiday. Best food I’ve had in a long time. Perfect steak. Delicious sides. Bar seating gets a little cold next to the door. Get a table. Staff was extraordinary. Friendly

As always, the food and service was top notch. All steaks are delicious and are always served hot and to the customer’s request. Side dishes are very good especially the au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach. The asparagus is also delicious. And for dessert, my personal favorite is the carrot cake, although any dessert is very rich and delicious.

Really nice atmosphere. Celebrated our anniversary and they did a very nice job with rose petals on the table and a complimentary dessert. Great meal, great service. Lovely experience all around.

Delicious treat for our honeymoon dinner. Calamari and lobster bisque were amazing starters. The 16oz bone in filet with a side of the au gratin potatoes was an even better dinner. We were both so full!

We went to this place for my grandparents 50th anniversary. The service is spended. My water only found itself empty once, and that's when I had first gotten it, and I haven't drank all day, so it was understandable, 😂. The appetizer was the calamari and it was spended. It was a lot stronger in flavor then many probably would like, but it was delectable. The main course that I had was the Colossal Crab and it was one of the best thing I've ever tasted. Honestly though, for as much as I've been bragging about the food, it was probably the part that was least enjoyable about this place. The jumbo strip was plain and the French onion soup was bitter. But what made the 4 stars was the service. Absolutely amazing service. I'm saying Disney Level hospitality. I felt like I could have a full conversation with the waiter who's name was also Ryan. If the opportunity arose for the perfect event, this place would definitely be in my top choices.

Denver best steakhouse in my opinion! If you have a special occasion this is the place to go. Very nice atmosphere, fantastic wagyu, and amazing service. They have an extensive wine selection, and some delicious desserts. Ask for Robert! He’s an outstanding waiter!

My company celebrated our belated Christmas dinner last night. The service was excellent. Our waiter Phil was awesome. The appetizers were wonderful. None of our group of 10 people were disappointed with their orders. We had steaks, scallops, shrimp, lobster, Wagyu, crab legs and sides. It wasn’t cheap at $150 per person, including tip, but it was totally worth it!

Amazing! Easily the best steakhouse I have ever been to! Do yourself a favor and book reservations now. Easy choice for one of the best steaks you can get in Denver.

First of all made a reservation for 2 people, for 7pm on a weekday. Had to wait almost 30 mins to be seated, wasn’t happy with that. But I’m still leaving 5 stars, because the service and food really made me forget that. I had the French Onion Soup, Bone-in Filet Mignon with Brussels sprouts and Black truffle Mac N Cheese. The steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it! Would definitely come here again, but front desk hostess need to do a better job next time.

Do yourself a favor and get the Australian Waygu strip!! Thank you Kelly for the great service and best recommendations! Also, thank you Mike Shanahan for not only two back to back Super Bowl wins, but the most delicious meal I’ve ever had in my entire life! 😮‍💨😍❤️

It was a pleasure to have the opportunity of dining at Shanahan’s Steakhouse tonight. Grandpa Joe turned 80 so we celebrated in style on his special night. The food was incredible. For appetizers our table ordered the Chilled Dungeness Crab Cocktail, and the Point Judith Crispy Calamari. The crab was delicious paired with the Dijon aioli sauce. 🦀 For dinner I ordered the Center Barrel Cut Filet Mignon with the Hoisin Glazed Brussels Sprouts with bacon, and the Sautéed Wild Mushrooms. It’s worth mentioning the Brussel Sprouts we’re the tastiest dish from ALL of the sides plates we got to try. We had the crème brûlée for dessert 💎 Overall, 10/10 experience. Everything was perfect.
