Pretty bad and extremely slow experience. Came in on a slower Saturday morning 5/21, got sat at the desert bar, ordered an appetizer that never came, didn’t get checked on till our entrée came 30+ minutes later. Turns out our appetizer never got put in and all we got was a nonchalant sorry. The menu is pretty pricey so you expect to be treat fairly decent. I get we got seated at the desert bar, but if you are going to completely ignore the customers who sit there then why allow there to be seating. Such a poor experience. Our server Andrew was nice, but maybe he had too many tables… very bad experience and felt like a waste of money.

Afternoon Tea was great. In true D Bar fashion, it’s a bit higher on the sugary confections side than a typical afternoon tea spread, and we were rolling from the sugar high at the end. Everything was delicious. Each person has their own pot and choice of tea. 4 spreads compliment the 3 varieties of scones. Bacon wrapped dates, cucumber sammies, chicken salad sliders, and tomato soup shooters wrap-up the savory finger foods. Meringue tarts, mini chocolate cupcakes. chocolate tortes, and a white chocolate truffle. Our only gripe was that the environment could use some sound dampening – we couldn’t talk to one another without yelling, and there were hardly any patrons at the restaurant. Those who were there echoed like nobody’s business.

Super cute place for sure. The cinnamon roll, Biscuits and gravy and the avocado salad with Salmon were all really good. I had a cappuccino and it was alright. Not the best coffee in Denver but not terrible. My friends had the blood orange mimosas and love it.

Excellent food and excellent dessert! I was taken here by my girlfriend for my birthday and it was amazing. We showed up with a reservation at 915 and stayed well after closing with no rush. The food was delicious I'd recommend the waffle chicken sandwich. I got a sparkler on our dessert and it was epic!

Our group of girls had an amazing experience here for a bachelorette party tea time! We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was not too crowded. Service was a bit slow but tea time is leisurely anyway. The tea snacks (sweet and savory) were great! The desserts were of course exceptional considering they are D Bars specialty and the scones were some of the best I've had. The tea I felt was average but it was nice to have several options and get our own pots. They were also good about providing cream and sugar and water refills. For $35 per person we felt it was really worth it and we even had enough leftovers for breakfast!

d Bar has friendly staff and good atmosphere; I sat at the dessert bar. Came here 9pm on a weeknight during Denver Restaurant Week. Chicken satay is tender, juicy, and not too burnt. Wish the peanut sauce has a stronger profile. The burger was below expectations: medium rare not medium, soggy lettuce and bottom bun, and unevenly seasoned so I had a very strong hit of black pepper in the center. Not sure if they normally serve this, but they had a pinapple-avocado-lime dish that was served between entree and dessert, made for a great palate cleanser. Pleasant surprise of the night. The desserts are impeccable: 3-layer chocolate cake and raspberry milkshake. The cake has structure but remains moist and fluffy, normally I'd expect a cake like this to either be very dense or falls apart. Chocolate frosting was not overly sweet so I didn't feel overwhelmed. Raspberry shake had the perfect sour note to go with the rich cake.

The wife chose this place. If you follow my reviews, seems like she's always picking the good ones! We went for restaurant week. Could not get reservations, but they said we could just walk in and possibly get a seat; we did just that! I highly recommend sitting at the dessert bar. We were entranced the entire time watching those professionals prepping the desserts. I think the best part is they hand them directly to you! For my starter, I had the beef bourguignon on toast. It was killer. I'd never tried it before, but now a fan! I tried the wife's shrimp cocktail; wow. I don't usually like that dish, but it was so good! For entree, I then had the hanger steak with veggies. Keep in mind they cook a little on the well done side, so order it one step rarer than you normally would. Ate everything! Wife had the risotto; delicious. Then came the palette cleanser; mango dish with some frozen cream and bread-like bottom (refer to photos). Even that was amazing! Now to the dessert.. I had the banana bread with ice cream. Words cannot do justice for this part. You need to go there and experience it. Wife had the molten lava thing. They call it something silly, which is great. It's all really good, but if you have to choose one thing, go for the banana bread pudding dish. I must go back. Even if just for dessert.

This is seriously some of the best food in Denver, maybe Colorado! My sliders were amazing but the dessert was even better, I ordered the American dream, the cake was very good and the ice cream was a nice little addition. The staff was nice and it was in a nice location highly highly recommended! Update: I came back and tried the pizza salad sandwich and it was also delicious!

The atmosphere was really nice. The hostess did a good job greeting us when we came in. Our waiter wasn’t as attentive as I would have like. The quality and the flavors of our drinks were amazing. The salmon was to salty but everything was amazing. Best Cream Brûlée ever.

We came in for the first time tonight with a big appetite for dessert and boy were we satisfied! Our server Caleb was so nice and down to earth and made sure to give us great recommendations. We sat at the dessert bar which is probably the best seat in the place because you get to see all the desserts being made to order right in front of you! Every single dessert we had was amazing. We had the Pre Fixe which was 3 courses of dessert and shared a mix of the Cake and Shake, Ch Ch Churros, Baked Alaska, and All You Knead are Pretzels. 10/10 would recommend if you have a sweet tooth and love a high quality dining experience with a really cool setting!

D Bar was highly recommended by my PT. He said it's a MUST visit place when I'm in Denver. Thank you PT. I was so please with the food, service, and the atmosphere. There was life in the restaurant. You can even see the baker making the pastries and desserts. I didn't have a reservation but they made accommodation for us (husband and son). I ordered a cappuccino, grilled chicken arugula, wild cherries with candied almond salad. Omg...it was so delicious, the grilled chicken breast was tender and juicy. I finished my plate. My son got the sliders, he said it was the BEST sliders he ever had, believe me he is a food connoisseur. My husband got the breakfast burrito (this thing was huge), it was tasty!!! Their almond croissant and vanilla creme brule are to die for. Our taste buds were so happy after our meal. Definitely will return next time we are in Denver.

Pizza Salad Sandwich is a must!! 10/10 recommend! The house champagne is delicious! And the churros are delicious!! Only odd thing is that they have a service charge of 22%! After inquiring it is to help support the staff keeping a minimum wage. Only 3% if this goes to the server/waiter. We still left a tip and the food was worth it!

We got the Southern Fried Belgian Sandwich 2.0 and the Bacon Mac & Cheese. Both dishes were really delicious and I'd definitely return here. The wait time on a Saturday evening is atrocious though. Reserve a table ahead of time or be ready to wait. There are chairs outside for waiting and for dining.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED this place. It was my favorite restaurant of our trip. EVERYTHING was delicious and unique and just plain awesome. You MUST check this place out. Not to mention how adorable it is ..it's like Tiffany's but a diner. They have a drink bar and a pastries bar where you can watch the pastry chef make all kinds of goodies! I couldn't help myself not only did I have brunch but I left with $60 worth of pastries for later! Why are you still reading this....go; NOW!

I could easily come here every single day of my life!! I’ve sat at the bar and the dessert bar which are both very different since you can actually watch their desserts being made at the dessert bar!! The desserts are out of this world and their happy hour is small but mighty!! If you don’t visit here you’ll be missing out!!

Excellent restaurant we loved it and was our 1st time eating here. Food was great and staff was amazing also. They did mess up my wife's order but they fixed it and it was correct the 2nd time! Great place for date night or even being your family. Strongly recommend and we can't wait to go back!

Had a great brunch experience. Should have ordered dessert first it was so good but we barely had room! The American dream was amazing and the berry shortcake was a close second. Food was great too, the tomato soup is so so good. Great cocktails, great service, would totally recommend!

A very good dessert place in Denver. Great execution and taste is up there with other big cities. A few details were not on point, like placing a biscotti on creme brûlée and fine granola bits on the Alaska. Also prices are in the $14-16 range.

Went for desserts and coffee and it was amazing! We reserved our table a week in advance and only evening time slots were available. It was all adults there and a fancier atmosphere but quite busy. Loved the restaurant and cool vibe. The plating was really nicely done and everything we ordered tasted good. Keep in mind they add a 22% gratuity to all tables, anything you leave is additional.

Absolutely adore this place. Eat here all the time, most recently Saturday. If you sit at the dessert bar you can watch each dessert being prepared.

The waitress helped us decide which dessert to order, we had the Alaska meringue. It’s really good if you like something sweet and sour! We also enjoyed the hot chocolate!

The food and drinks were everything! I got the Cuban and a Lemon drop, my friends got expresso Martinis and there's a dessert shop built into it. We got macaroons, cookies and cheesecake!

The cinnamon roll was great - highly recommend - and the person who worked in the bakery was really great. The hot chocolate was luke warm at best and the sandwich was not good at all. Our server was pretty average. Overall, I think if we go back we will stick to the baked goods takeout.

Came to this popular spot on 19th for an early dinner on a Friday as a party of two and we were seated without any wait. Happy Hour menu was available from 1500-1800, so we ordered a couple of items (Parmesan Fries, Sweet Potato Fries) and a Simple Salad topped off with salmon. Friendly service and nice, casual atmosphere that's good for a night out or a meal with the family & kids. Dessert bar area has about 8-10 seats where you can watch the dessert chefs create the wonderful dessert dishes - we ordered the Molten Lava cake, which actually looked like a swan (?) that we regretted taking apart to eat. Plenty of tables and seating inside and outside on the sidewalk patio. Parking is on the street (mostly 2-hour parking) and free, but you'll be competing for spots with nearby condo/apartment residents. Removing one star from an otherwise 5-star review because - be advised - this restaurant mandates a 22% surcharge regardless of the number in your party, and I was charged twice for a $4.00 cup of Americano coffee (one ordered, one requested refill) for a total of $8.00 (!) and the reason given was that "the coffee had to be made again."

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver, I can't believe it took me so long to write a review. The atmosphere is always great, the wait staff is friendly and gives you plenty of time to enjoy your dinner. I always try the seasonal risotto and share the crispy brussel sprouts. And don't forget to always leave room for dessert, it's to die for.

Absolutely one of our favorite restaurants to visit. They pay attention to the small details, and really provide an incredible culinary experience. We have been going here since they were at their old location, which was much smaller than this location. Can not say enough good things about this place for a great luxury dining out experience.

Normally have to painfully eat salad. Not this salad. The Salad all the way through was outstanding, as well as the French press, and mimosa. Worth every penny. The food presentation is something you would see on IG! Customer service also great as well as cleanness. I already can't wait to come back, as im sitting outside on the patio of D bar Denver as I leave this Google review.

Came in for dessert after having dinner at another location. Ended up doing the 3 course dessert + one extra dessert. Would have given 5 stars but our server forgot to order our coffee's until halfway through our dessert. This was a great way to try a bunch of their desserts.

Fantastic! The desserts are phenomenal. Sorting at the desert bar is the best seat in the whole place. The drinks were good, and the food was great. Highly recommend.

We were visiting and my brother in law recommended this place. Food was great and our dessert was absolutely delicious! I had the Bailey’s bowl, super fresh and light for dinner. We will be sure to come back when we are in town again!
