La Loma was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. I have traveled for a long time and I cannot think of another place that had Mexican food quite as amazing as this place. Their food was flavorful and spicy (in a good way!). Their house margarita was strong and refreshing. Their chips and salsa were delicious! I got a chicken burrito and a pork burrito and they were both so, so amazing. I will definitely be back and would certainly recommend you add it to the top of your list when visiting Denver. Enjoy La Loma!

This is a great place! They are more of a fancy Denver style Mexican American restaurant. All the waiters and waitresses wear black uniforms, there are these amazing paintings on the walls and the copper tables are pretty cool. Their green chili is amazing since you get little pieces of pork, tastes really well and is not very spicy. This is a signature place to bring guests or have a business lunch. They also sell a margarita pitcher that you can share with a few people!

I recently had lunch here. Ordered a cheese and onion enchilada with green chili sauce. I liked it. I sat at the bar because I was solo. Art in the restaurant is cool. I liked the vibe. I will probably return and try out other dishes.

An absolute gem! I went at La Loma for dinner on June 28th and if I have to describe my experience in one word, it would be “AMAZING”. My server, Francisco, was extremely courteous, helpful and respectful. He started with a bottle of water and salsa and chips. He also helped me to select the right drink as well as gave me good recommendation on the main course. I ordered La Paloma drink and Chicken Fajitas. The drink was delicious and refreshing and the chicken was melting in my mouth and in store made tortillas were very good. The meal came with a side of chilli soup, which was mouth watering. Overall, I really enjoyed the ambience, the experience and had amazing food. I’m sure to dine here again when I visit Denver next time. Highly highly recommend.

First off, this is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. From the chips and salsa to the chili rellno to the best green chili, Fresh made tortillas. it was all excellent! Indoor or outdoor dining, it is a hidden gem.

PROS - The service was excellent and the ambiance is really beautiful. - Their complimentary nachos and sauce are the BEST!! - One must try their Mini Chile Rellenos. It's crispy outside and cheesy inside. Moreover, the sauce that comes with it is so delicious. CONS - Fajitas were okay, but their home-made tortillas are good. - Only 1-2 vegetarian options. Not a good place for vegetarians or vegans. It's a good place to go if you are not a vegan or vegetarian.

Absolutely the best Mexican Food of my life. Marinated chicken was juicy…salsa was hot enough…homemade tortillas were flawless…service was way over a 10 out of 10. Cloth napkins really say it all. Very classy service and amazing flavor inside every atom of each bite!!

La Loma has been around for decades and it never disappoints. My personal favorite is the green chili and I order this EVERY time I go, as it is what brings me back again and again and devour it with the fresh made flour tortillas. The only criticism I have is the Cadillac Margarita is somewhat meager in size, and while I would normally deduct a star for this, the excellent flavor makes up for it. Nevertheless, the Margarita is not why I go, it is because of the green chili, which is outstanding. I strongly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a wonderful experience! The service was phenomenal, the food was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We had a 5 year old with us and they knew how to deal with kids in the best possible way. Also the cocktails were great!

Looking for a cool place for happy hour this would be the place. Anything more (food + ) it’s gonna be a pricey stop. The food is good and great portions (think about sharing) but ultimately this one hits the top dollar bracket. Service and people were on point for the price I paid so you will be taken care of with plenty of smiles and hellos and thank yous.

Absolutely amazing service. Flew in from Oregon for some concerts at Res Rocks and came here based on reviews. It was worth the stop. Request Mauricio as your server. Top notch. Can’t wait to come back again.

I decided to eat to satisfy my Mexican cravings. The place was jam packed for a Wednesday night. I ordered food to go. The hostess was very friendly and took the order for Mexican street tacos. The chips n salsa to begin with were awesome. A lil OD’ed on the chips but that’s something no on ever complains. The salsa was very flavorful and a side of hot sauce was 🔥. The tacos themselves were mediocre, just meat n a piece of avocado. The tortillas were cold n dry, cold maybe coz of to go, not sure. As someone who has had street tacos in Mexico City this was nowhere close to that. Once I added the salsa n hot sauce they tasted good. Steak better than chicken. The rice n beans were very flavorful and actually best part of the meal (kinda sad). If ever in Denver, I ll try this spot again but for dine in. 🇲🇽 🌮 🌶 💃🏽

Outstanding! This rates as the top three Mexican dining experiences of my life! First of all, the salsa is the best I’ve ever had The green chilli sauce is a flavour I will never forget. The mixed fajita skillet arrived seared and seasoned to absolute perfection. The skirt steak was the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp had a texture and char that was flawless. The service was stellar. I will make a point of coming back to this restaurant the first chance I get the next time I am in Denver. Truly epic!

Good food, excellent service. It was a bit too dark for me but it is a nice atmosphere. Comfortable seating and not as loud as the old location.

Stopped in here for lunch while we were in Denver. Was not disappointed, very good food. Our server made the experience 10 times better she was awesome, professional and could also joke around with us. I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you are looking for a place with good Mexican food and drinks.

Came here for the first time with friends for dinner and we loved it! The drinks were strong and super good. I highly recommend the brisket burrito, the sauce was amazing!! It’s hard to find a really good Mexican restaurant in Denver but this one is worth going to!

Outstanding experience at this upscale Mexican restaurant in downtown Denver. We had tickets to an event at the Paramount, and I heard good things about this nearby eatery. How fortunate for us that all of the good buzz was right! It's probably the best Mexican food I've had in a restaurant by far. The margaritas were delicious, and the two bartenders/servers were incredibly friendly and efficient. Thank you, Ahzad and Jaime! Not only will we be back, but I will be recommending La Loma to all friends and family heading to Denver!

Checked in around 6:15 on a Friday & only had a 10 minute wait for seating. This place actually warrants spending some money and/or waiting so make 10 minutes 30 or whatever- this was my personal favorite place of this year. Had mixed grilled fajitas for two, got some spicy margs, and moved onto beer since the meal could stand on its own. Server didn’t check in once after order and didn’t need to. Thanks La Loma, thanks Devin; we’ll be back. Those tortillas are insanely soft. Great quality food overall.

This dinner was wonderful! Francisco was informative and friendly. He and staff went above and beyond to accommodate a unique allergy. Food was tasty and quick. Can't go wrong with the El Jefe Margarita. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

The food was filling and felt on the traditional/approachable Mexican without too much spice. We enjoyed our lunch and couldn't possibly eat the entire portion of food that was given on our plates. Ambiance was chill inside, the place was hopping, patio looked nice for a weather appropriate day! :)

Our servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and helped us decide on our dinner. The house margaritas were perfect. The brisket in the burrito was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My friends had fried fish tacos and highly recommend them. Oh the fresh salsa was divine! Just the right amount of heat.

So glad we came across La Loma.. honestly not sure what was better.. the service or the food! Our server was Mauricio, and he was on point!! He made the recommendations while ordering and we loved every bit of it! We had the fajita trio with shrimp, steak, and chicken. The green chile is AMAZING! The tortillas are fresh! We never had to ask for more tortillas, take plates away, or a refill on our drinks.. he was there! We made great conversations and truly enjoyed the food and his hospitality. Thanks! Also.. you can take some green chile and tortillas to go. DO IT! You won't regret it!

This place is awesome. Very good food. Prices for standard Mexican food are pretty reasonable. Alcohol is a bit pricey. See the bill in photos for more.

When we went there it seemed to be mostly catering to tourists. The service was excellent. The free chips and salsa were both very fresh and delicious, a nice spice to the salsa. We shared the single portion mixed grill fajitas. Everything was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. Fresh made flour tortillas and the pork chile sauce was so good! It does come with rice and beans, which is not specified in the menu, the rice was a bit bland.

La Loma has been a favorite since the 80's when they were located in North Denver. We started with a house margarita and a michelada, both were very good. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup. The complementary chips and salsa were addictive and we ate way too many! Very good salsa. The soup was a little too salty, but otherwise full of chicken and fixings. Our entrées included the Anniversary Plate (stuffed sopapilla, chile relleno and a chicken flauta topped with guacamole, sour cream and our famous green Chile) and the Brisket Burritos (Two burritos smothered with green Chile, Served with rice and beans). Everything was very good and delicious.
