Another let-down for highly rated Middle Eastern restaurants in Denver. I don’t know how people give such high reviews to mediocre places. I’m Middle Eastern and this place is over-priced and also sub-par quality. I had the chicken shawarma plate, good size portion but still pricey at $20+. The chicken is NOT shaved off a spit but is rather lots of small bits of chicken with spices. No browning, not much flavor, and no vegetables. The hummus was very runny and not sure if it was made in-house. I don’t think the pita is made from scratch either. Cost was $30+ after drink and tip. There are many better options on Colorado Blvd, with better quality at a lower price. This place is likely still in business due to the location and foot traffic. If you have the means to travel somewhere outside of Downtown, there are many better choices.

Service is professional. Food is good, hummus need improvement. Order gyro and it was excellent. If you are in town and want to try some Mediterranean food, give this place a try

Nice cozy Mediterranean place, really great food (the hummus is especially tasty), great service. They even have this mysterious eastern music ambiently playing. My friend who took me here has been coming for like 10 years. I'd love to try more things on their menu next time I come.

When a friend recommended this place years ago I was a little skeptical because of the location in Colfax, but they quickly proved me wrong! Great lunch spot. The hummus is my favorite in town. Love the gyro pita sandwich as well

This is a gem of a place. Small, but the service is top notch and the food is delicious. So good I hardly noticed anything bad about this place. Too busy enjoying myself with all that delicious food in front of me. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. Definitely one of my favorite places in the state!!!

I haven’t been to a lot of Mediterranean restaurants but I enjoyed dining here. The food tasted delicious, and I was marveled at how quickly it arrived despite tasting so fresh. The waiter was very courteous and the atmosphere felt congenial. I would definitely return here whenever I visit Denver.

Since moving to Denver I’ve been looking for good middle eastern food. This spot is reliable and always super tasty. Great portions and the kebabs are amazing. Their garlic sauce is also out of this world. But above all, the staff is always so friendly and welcoming.

Family owned and operated Syrian food place that is solid and unpretentious. Their flavors are on point and their service is great. I love supporting this local establishment. Location is great for easy pick up. Dine in for a very casual feel. Prices are very fair. I love their mixed kabob.

We are visiting from Chicago and stopped by this place for an early dinner. The lamb shank was tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the shish kabobs and the meat was falling off the skewer. Amazing !

I ordered their lamb plate and the lamb was huge and tasted so good! My only complaint is that the Greek salad wasn’t authentic Greek salad but that is usually the case with restaurants in America. It was still good though.

The plates have too much rice. For an $18 veggie plate, there was not enough actually food and more than half the plate was rice. After I was done eating the hummus, baba, etc. there was so much rice and bread left. Ratios are all off

Food was very good and great portions I really enjoyed the gyro, not much of a fan for the lentil soup didn't have much flavor but wasn't bad. Restaurant was very empty we sat inside to eat and we're the only ones there seems that most people that came in were picking up the food. Service was great tho no complaints

I’ve wanted to eat here for many many years now and finally did, and wow!!! It did not disappoint. We both ordered gyros plates and babaganoush. The hummus that came with our entrees was outstanding! The gyros were very good and the tzatziki sauce was a little weird because it has garlic, which is not traditional Greek style. We ordered French fries for the child and the fries were some of the best around Denver. We will definitely be back here. The bread and the hummus were wonderful. The rice and gyros were very good too. Everything we ate was exceptionally great. One thing that caught us by surprise was the door being locked. Apparently the homeless try to use this restaurant’s bathroom for drug use. While we dined in, we saw many drug addicts wandering outside. It might be safer to keep your family at home, and just pick up food here instead. Overall we loved our food and service here and would recommend this place to family and friends.

Shawarma plate was amazing with such a warm subtle spice (not hot spicy though) and a great balance of flavors. The meats were all tender and flavorful, and we really enjoyed the salads and dip with bread that were served as well. The baklava was a different version than you might be used to, made with simple syrup, so not quite as sweet or nutty as Greek baklava but definitely delicate and tasty. The service was lovely and they were very attentive. We will be back!

Food is awesome here. One of the best tasting Mediterranean places on my list. Right quantity, but I wish they didn’t use the foam boxes for hot food.

I love this spot. If you're going to buy that turkey sandwich from the capital building cafe, go ahead and just cross the street for some real food. 😎 The two dudes I always see working here provide great service, the food is on point, and the pricing is very fair. 10/10

I would say it’s a decent place. The service was prompt, very nice staff, the place is clean but I would say the food leaves me wanting more. It’s rather pricey for just okay food. I got the shawarma chicken sandwich which was a bit under seasoned and lacked any veggies within the sandwich itself, it’s just small cubes of chicken wrapped in pita. I got the salad as a side and that was just a few pieces of greens with sumac sprinkled on top. It’s not a bad place or a great place, just decent enough.

We knew the restaurant closes 8:30 from google but we arrived 8:00. Unfortunately only take away at this time and limited menu items available. We just ordered falafel and it was just accepted.

My mom knew of this place for 15 years. She came here with my Dad before they got married, and brought my siblings and I here for the first time in 2023. I absolutely loved the place. Very clean, and we were greeted a warm welcome. Our server was super super kind. He checked on us often and apologized for the long wait (for the food), but the food was OUTSTANDING. Definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere was so comfortable. Overall, this restaurant was an experience and DO plan on coming back to this beautiful place. 10000000% recommend <3

Great service and food. Good kibbeh and kabobs, tabouleh was very fresh, but the spinach pies were our favorite!

Best restaurant I've been to in my whole life. Looks humble outside and in. Looks just as low-key inside, but places 4x the price do not stack up to this one. I don't even live in Denver and we still daydream about our meals here.

My favorite Mid Eastern place. The hummus is amazing! It’s so smooth and creamy and the taste is amazing. I love the beef kafta. Always tender and flavorful. The side salad is always perfectly dressed. Not that Ive ever been there but you feel like you’re being transported to Syria with this cooking.

The person at the counter was very friendly and the service was great. I got the lamb shank plate with a side of a chicken skewer. The lamb shank was very tender and tasty. The hummus was great too. The chicken skewer could have had a little bit more flavor to it but it was good. I would go there again

I go here for lunch a lot with my family! We love the food here! The hummus is so creamy and it tastes splendid! It’s like no other hummus i’ve ever had! This place seems a little underrated, but trust me, it’s amazing and I will definitely pay like 500$ on that hummus! Hahaha

Very nice place, friendly staff and a good menu. But pricy. I guess because it is downtown. Food was pretty fresh and good.

Great place! Delicious lamb kabobs. Baba & hummus really good. Reminded me of home! Sitto would approve, totally! Thanks for a great meal and conversation. Whenever I'm in the area this is a must!

Hands down this is the best gyros meat I have had. If I lived in the area I would be a regular. We also tried the chicken shawarma. The chicken was a little dry, but the seasoning was on point and the sauce was delicious.

I really enjoyed my meal yesterday. I was STARVING for some good food, I had a good discussion with the brothers who manage the place as well. Exceptional food in a nice, peaceful atmosphere. A good respite from a Crazy World!

Service was fast, portions good and bit did everything taste great. I couldn't finish mine so I ate it for breakfast the next day. I didn't want to waste a bite. It has a diner feel. It's small but not too small. You can park on the street.

My family and I have been visiting for years, and love it every time. The chicken shawarma with hummus is my go-to, and tonight's was even better than usual. I added the cucumber yogurt salad to my order for the first time, and its crisp cucumber, tangy yogurt, and spices were refreshing and tasty, a great complement to the savory main dish. The family who run this restaurant are kind and dedicated, and their food is the best!

It’s a family owned restaurant. The mom and the son are the ones who make all the food including the deserts. Everything is made fresh. I’m giving it 4 star since there aren’t many choices if you are vegetarian and the falafel I had was too dry but I’m sure that can be different. The flavor of the food felt just like home. In other words I highly recommend trying this place and make sure you leave space for a desert.
