Pretty good brunch spot in downtown. Went at 10am on a Sunday and there was no wait. We got the chicken and waffles and the French toast and both were really good. As an FYI the chicken and waffles serving size is huge and the chicken is bone in. You can also sub out the regular chicken for Nashville hot chicken but warning that it’s pretty damn spicy. Our food took a while to come out but the service was fine apart from that

The food and service here are wonderful. I'm a huge fan of the Brussel sprouts and fried pickles. Most everything here is good. The shakes are awesome, they even give you a little extra in the mixing cup. The Nashville Fried Chicken is definitely a large portion and can be saved with two or more people. The service here has been wonderful. We live down the street and have gone here many times. Highly recommend this for a nice ambiance too. One thing I will say though if you're getting to go. The fries they give you to go a different than dine in and your milkshake is less as well. The dine in fries are much better and are much more flavorful. The to go fries were bland and the portion size was tiny! Just keep that in mind when ordering to go.

Ah, Steuben’s…. It’s always a must stop for us whenever we’re in The Mile High City! It never disappoints. Been a customer here for several years and it’s always a treat. Service is always terrific and the food consistently fresh and delicious. Pictured here are the Bloody Mary, mac and cheese, the kids hamburger plate with fresh veggies, berries and home style chips, the crab roll and the famous Steubie Snacks. Portions are always very generous, especially the kids plate! My kids also enjoy the vanilla milk they serve here as well. After one of my friends raves about how good the Steubie Snacks are, I finally worked up the courage to order them. They are not my cup of tea. You’ll either love em or hate em, no in-between. Everything else was terrific! Don’t forget your sticker and book of matches on the way out. Classy touch, Steuben’s!

I've been visiting Steuben's for nearly twenty years because it's consistently wonderful. The menu is creative, the deviled eggs are obscenely delicious, and the cocktails never disappoint. What makes this place one of my favorites in Denver, though, is the people who work there. Paige was our server this evening, and in addition to being prompt and helpful, she was genuine, kind, and really fun. Keep it up, friends. Thanks for another great dining experience.

Absolutely love this place. Just that on certain days service takes forever. Each dish actually serves two because of its ginormous portions. The drinks were okay… but the smothered burrito is to die for…. It’s absolutely yummy. I forgot the name of the cheesy sandwich shown in the picture…. The smashed potatoes were on point!!!! 💯 but the cheese on top kinda made it a little overwhelming for me. Nashville fried chicken was a bit too spicy for me and a little too crispy…. It’s got a thick crust that takes effort to chew down… the buttermilk chicken was so so good!! And definitely try the gravy and mashed potatoes…. The combo hits all the right spots

This place was okay. I really enjoyed all the cocktails they offered there it was really upscale for the type of bar/restaurant that they are. The place is really overpriced when it comes to food. The drinks are all between $12-$15 which is pretty typical for the type of cocktails that they were and I believe that’s a decent price. The food is what is incredibly overpriced. Fried chicken is $20 and steak frites is $24…the steak makes sense the chicken not so much. Also, the chicken was super dry and over fried. You could tell by the color of the chicken when it came out. Another bad plus is that it came with a gravy that was tasteless. For the good stuff: my husband really liked the banana boozy shake, made with real bananas and it was delicious though I do not think it had any alcohol in it which was a bummer. The rolls were so good and super buttery. The Steuben snacks were delicious. Sweet, spicy, and savory all at once it’s a must try if you eat pork. The lemon meringue was pretty tasty as well. Overall, they are known for their fried chicken by people who have obviously never had good fried chicken before but other stuff was great…and the service at the bar rocked.

Had brunch here and it was delicioussssssss. The donut holes were so good! I had the breakfast sandwich with gyro meat and I recommend! They also have a late night happy hour for a burger and beer for $11 and it hits the spot!

Visited this restaurant because it was on Diners, Dives, and Drive Throughs! It did not disappoint! I had the lobster roll, and it was fantastic. My friends ordered the fried chicken plate, and it was enough food for a small army. We also ordered the meatloaf, and it was outstanding! The Brussel sprouts for an app were amazing. The alcohol drinks were great! They also have milkshakes with alcohol.

Our group was attending a conference in Denver and were looking for a fun place with a nice variety of choices for dinner. We came across Steuben’s and settled in for a great experience. The service was decent and the food was great. We had everything from the meatloaf to the Monte Cristos and everyone was happy with their order. I would highly recommend this place and everyone in the group said they would enthusiastically come back as well.

Totally worth the visit! I wanted to check out some local places that were featured on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives so took a nice walk through Uptown to visit. The veggie sandwich is super loaded and tasty and the biscuit coupled with the berry jam was amazing! Also try to save room for dessert. They have tons of milkshake options but I went for the rich triple layered chocolate cake. Highly recommend

A converted garage upscale diner that is a Denver staple. Very well known for their chicken and waffles and Nashville chicken. They have a full bar and a wide variety of beers. A nice outdoor patio with plenty of seating I have tried the green chili cheeseburger as well as the Nashville Hot Chicken and the chicken and waffles. All were very good. They have a large variety of gluten-free options and I believe a gluten-free menu. Also they make their own ice cream and have an amazing selection of many different desserts. Make sure you order every one.

I savored a brunch here, and it was an absolute delight. The menu was a masterpiece of flavors, and the Fried Chicken and Waffle left me craving more with every bite. The attentive staff, stunning presentation, and top-notch cocktails added to the wonderful experience. Don't miss out on this brunch haven, it's a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining adventure.

Mac n chz with Nashville chicken nuggets and Nashville chicken plate. It's SPICY & very good. Be prepared for the heat and enjoy! We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and made great recommendations.

I have such a love hate relationship with this place. Long time customer and years ago this was the number one spot on restaurant row and now their service is lackluster at best. Great cocktails and semi great food depending on the dish. The location and ambiance are super cute!

Stubens Uptown is an iconic venue in Downtown Denver, offering Stylish Upbeat American Comfort Cuisine. I stopped in with a friend for a light dinner, and cocktails. The menu is extensive, with numerous variations of Comfort Cuisine options. If it is a desert you seek, Stubens will be your go-to venue as they entice patrons with their shakes, cakes, pies, ice cream, and the sugary like. On this outing, I ordered the Crunch Burger, which is a thick smashed patty on a Tosted Brioche Bun, Stubens Special Sauce, Grilled Onions, Pickles and Swiss Chesse. I paired the burger with house fries to share and Sparks Fly Juicy IPA by Ratio Brewing. My friend ordered the Cubano Sandwhich, which showcases Slow Cooked Pork Shoulder on a Pressed Tosted Bolillo Roll. The sandwhich also features Ham, Swiss Cheese, Pickles, Yellow Mustard, and Chimichurri. The paring choice here was the Basil Melon Patch, which includes Skyy Watermelon Vodka, Basil, Lime, Simple Suryp, and Soda. The atmosphere at Stubens Uptown is lively, energetic, and upbeat even on a lazy Sunday evening. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and timely in their service. Made a reservation online to avoid the long wait list during the weekend. I really loved the energy they brought into the service, and the food was really tasty too! The deviled egg was so good that we were considering order another one. Definitely will come back next time visiting Denver.

Went to the 17th Avenue location of this restaurant on Memorial Day, after a Rockies match that ended around 5:00. Plenty of tables and seats, so we were seated without any wait at all. Service is friendly and attentive, and the menu has a good variety of food items - fried chicken, sandwiches, and sides like mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese, and fried pickles. It's also a place you can go to for breakfast or lunch, too. Recommended!

Excellent all over. We ordered macaroni & cheese, pot roast, Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich, and fungi philly. Everything was good. The pot roast was excellent, really well made and the meat falls off. The mushroom and gravy were really flavorful. The mac and cheese was okay. The chicken was excellent. We also ordered the Brussel sprouts. They were good, and plentiful. Service is really good here too. Communicative and helpful. The outside seating has heaters and it stayed warm despite it being cold outside.

I ordered the lobster roll and didn't care for it. I just don't think it is worth $35 more like a $12 sandwich. The fries and gravy were very yummy. My wife loved her chicken Greek salad. I'll have to try this place again.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this establishment. Had the blueberry basil lemonade and it was so refreshing and basil forward. The Monte Cristo is the best one I've ever had! It was like a savory funnel cake batter on it with outstanding homemade raspberry jam. The meatloaf was juicy and the glaze had just the right amount of sweetness. The kids meal came with veggies and ranch in addition to another side, a drink and soft serve. The portions were very generous and the owner or manager was walking around and checking on tables which made the restaurant feel so welcoming. It was such a great Denver experience.

Wow this was an epic chicken and waffles. Perfect in all ways. It's everything I wanted it to be. Thank you for this delicious food. Side note: the drink was absolutely terrible... But I didn't care because the food was amazing.

we dined here as it was the closest restaurant to the mile high tree. superb customer service by Robbie. food was served hot! 😋 our first time trying Nashville fried chicken 🥵 spicy 😋 served with chicken gravy & mashed potatoes. we started with the brussel sprouts cooked beautifully & we would have preferred more seasonings on the sprouts. pleasantly surprised free parking was offered on site. loved heated patio. we were seated promptly wo reservations on a Friday night. we believe the prices were a bit high based on the type of food being offered. walking in our first impression of the atmosphere is coffee shop
