This restaurant is fine for what it is but nothing spectacular. I am relatively sure I've encountered this exact same menu months to years ago at several different restaurants in Denver. When you factor in the additional living wage fee, I think you can find much better options at lower price point in the Denver area. Duck breast was cooked to a medium rare, which is nice to see.

Complimentary service for sure! We went all over the menu! Would recommend the Pork Chop, but to be honest….the top of the menu salad was the best I tasted in some time. Ingredients matter!

Score: 69 (F) Would I come back: No. Bottom Line: Kitchen leadership was overly ambitious and dishes were poorly executed. Gum should not be dipped in fondue. Items ordered: Valentines Menu Cleanliness: 4, place was pretty clean. Service: 3, server was clueless Food Quality & Freshness: 3.5, slightly above average freshness but not considered ”fresh” Flavors: 3, oysters were good but flavors were inconsistent. Tartare was extremely salty. They definitely didn’t taste any of the food before preparing the dishes; fruit was room temperature, scallops were way over buttered and cream sauce was too rich, however chocolate fondue was excellent and potato chips were great. Plating: 2, very lazy and unthoughtful plating. Pasta looked like straight worms. Way too much cream sauces used across the dishes. Everything kind of thrown on the plate in a messy way. Fruit looked like a kindergartener put it on the plate. Brick-like toffee and “marshmallow” (more like gum) are not appropriate fondue dippables and only a clown would put these on a plate. See attached video w/ sound on. Portion Size: 5, generous and in-line with the price. Location: 4, highlands but limited parking and didn’t look like the safest area. Price: 2, this was only slightly less than pricing of a michelin restaurant but nowhere near the quality. Drink selection: 4, great choices but I wish we had a better explanation from the server. Atmosphere: 4, rustic and cozy design was probably done through an interior decor firm Total: 34.5/50 Points

First time I've ever had a savory version of a bread pudding and it was amazing. The duck confit was cooked to perfection. The desert was so rich and delicious, especially with the bourbon I got. Great place, will be back.

I went to brunch a Duo this past Sunday and had such a wonderful experience. From the ambiance to our waitress, Sydney. The food was incredible and the Special Roll by the outstanding pastry chef, Sandy, was such a great spin on a traditional brunch. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Loved everything about this place. Apps were excellent. Wine list was extensive and good selections. Dinner was excellent with good food portions and flavors that were different but yummy. Would eat here again for sure.

Great food all around. The table had a delicious cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting (gluten containing). The asparagus hash had a limited amount of asparagus heads in it but overall was very well done. Filling but didn’t leave me feeling bloated. The coffee is in French press which is always a win for myself. There was gluten free but some items like the egg in a basket wouldn’t be a great option due to density of the bread being used

Really enjoyed this restaurant for dinner with a group of 5. Everything was delicious albeit on the heavy side. Everyone really liked the pear pressure cocktail and the sparkling rose was cold. We thought the bavette steak was the best entree but everything was good.

Lovely farm to table restaurant. I had the red trout which came with scallion olive oil potatoes, pickled charred pepper, fennel, and saffron aioli. For dessert had the chocolate French silk pie and poached pears. Everything was amazing and there were no leftovers! Street parking can be tough to find but if you walk a street or two you may be able to find something.

I think my wife and I found a new favorite brunch spot. We first went to DUO on a Saturday to meet some friends for brunch. None of us had ever been there and just randomly selected this spot. The restaurant is a cool spot in a great area of Denver and the staff was all very kind. This is not an exaggeration, this might be the best brunch food we have ever had. We liked it so much, we ended up there again the next day. I would highly recommend this for brunch.

We had a first-rate experience at Duo in July 2022. The food was AMAZING. Absolutely awesome! Three of us had different entrees, which were all presented and prepared to beautiful perfection. The service was exceptional. Staff was kind, connected, helpful, present when we needed them and scarce when we didn't. The wine was excellent, and dessert was the perfect finish (artistic, flavorful, not too sweet). Everything was sparkling clean and felt like the perfect marriage of a little fancy + comfortable. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing brunch at this place! Every single thing we ordered was really really tasty and well presented. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My favorite was the Challah French Toast that was topped with fresh peaches. So glad we stopped here randomly instead of waiting for hours for other more hyped places in the area.

Love this place. The iced tea is the best in the city, they have the Crank Yanker IPA, and the Denver Classic was delicious. I recommend getting hollandaise to make it more unhealthy. The green house hot sauce is amazing. Mike was our bartender and we had flawless service. Tables are cool, but sitting at the bar is a better experience here.

We went to duo for our anniversary and loved it! I got the wine-braised short ribs over potatoes. My husband got the lentil croquettes and said they were fabulous and had a falafel vibe. It’s a small, intimate setting. I have lots of dietary restrictions, and was able to find something on the menu because of the farm to table concept. I would definitely come back again!

Delightfully-elevated food aesthetically pleasing to the eye and palette. Skip the cocktails and come for the food.

Way over priced for bland food and drinks. One of our chicken sandwiches was raw in the middle. Absolute trash of a blood Mary. Tasted like everytjing from from the vodka to the mix was watered down. For 50 bucks a person for brunch not worth it

Great overall experience for the 5 of us tonight, especially with the Restaurant Week $45 courses. I admired its cozy and brick rustic appeal with ample view of the kitchen. We sat in the center and it was brimming with Friday social activity. Began with bacon-wrapped asparagus over goat cheese mousse. The main dish was the roasted chicken over greens and pommes pureé. Excellent tenderness, this seems to pair quite well with my Four Roses bourbon. Finally I had the chocolate flourless cake with shaved coffee ice. Superb!

Starters were incredible, especially the bone marrow. Entrees were delicious, especially the bison short ribs. Service was impeccable. Thank you for a fabulous birthday celebration!

Excellent brunch! Had the egg sandwich that was just so much more than an egg sandwich…the perfectly-cooked egg, just firm enough to not be messy, the greens, and flavorful sausage…the fried pork topped with two eggs over-easy…and that blueberry and lemon French toast! The setting was chill yet sophisticated. And our server, Nico, was attentive and forward with recommendations! Highly recommend this place..oh, and the dinner menu looked phenomenal…so we will be hitting this place again!

Wife discovered around 2006 and we love it and try to go a few times a year. The wife loves it so, that she went out of her way (about 11 miles) to order take out during the silly Covid lockdown. Entrees are in the $30 range but in all the years we have never been served anything that wasn't fantastic and tonight was no exception. Started with Peach & Tomato Salad and Garlic Drop Biscuits. Then Fried Eggplant and Pork Chop. Desert we shared Cherry Tres Leches Cake. Never heard of a some of them- all very very good. Restroom----- SPOTLESS as usual.
