Wow. The best Mexican food I’ve had in Denver. Enchiladas and chilaquiles were excellent. So much flavor in the rice and beans too. Big portions.

Hands down the very best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. And they have been extremely consistent with quality every time I’ve been in. My girlfriend and I split a chilaquiles with asada, pastor, and 2 fried eggs and it’s incredible.

Delicious, gigantic, comforting burritos! First time here and ordered the Asada smothered burrito, and it's outrageously good. Less than $14 out the door for something that I'll have to break up into two meals. I can't wait to try pretty much everything here.

Absolutely incredible!!! I got 3 barbacoa tacos and my girlfriend barbacoa and carnitas sopes and they were out of this world. It is a very unassuming looking place from the outside, but don't let that fool you. When I visit Denver again I will revisit this place!

I came here to try the legendary breakfast burritos I read about in the reviews. I've tried almost every one in Colorado. Prices are $8.00 for reg. Or $9.00 for smothered. The staff is super friendly and provide fast service. The regular breakfast burrito itself was huge so it kinda makes up for the price. The green chili is pretty good. The ingredients were pretty good as well. The tortilla wasn't cooked enough real soft and chewy. I wouldn't say it is the best breakfast burrito I have had mabey top 6, but it was good. To me I think the burrito company on sante fe is still the best as far as being the best flavor, best green chili, and reasonable prices on the breakfast burritos go. But that is only my opinion.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical at first. The space isn’t so impressive. It’s plain and a bit dingy. For example, the menu has duct tape all over it. But, I told myself, “sometime the best food can come from unexpected places.”while it wasn’t the best tacos, they were tasty and traditional. I would go back and I encourage folks to look past some of the things that might prevent them from ordering, and get some chilaquiles.

*** update**- i have started getting breakfast and lunch here at least twice a week now. If i could eat their food everyday, i absolutely would. And love every bite!!! This place is by far my favorite spot to grab some authentic and delicious food!!!!!! I have tried the breakfast burrito and the asada burrito, and both are delicious! The burritos are huge and very reasonably priced. So much flavor and was served hot and fresh! Don't miss out on this local spot.

Wonderful experience. I’ve never had a seeet empanada and was so glad I found this place. It’s like a cross between a Mexican bakery with a Galician flare. Top both cookies, empanadas were fantastic, fresh as heck and flaky good. Service was there best and so friendly. Can’t wait to go back for more tamales!!!! My favorite is both. PS: I have one pic because after th first bite of the tamales I couldn’t stop.

Food was good. Beans were pretty spicy even though we just ordered regular beans. Horchata was good. Everything was okay, I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again- but I also wouldn’t avoid going there… not sure that makes sense :). The restaurant is extremely hot- there is a fan blowing hot air.

Muy rica la torta de carnitas y los chilaquiles!! Definitely recommend! It has a homey vibe and a homemade taste that a lot of Mexican restaurants don't have!! Me encanto and I'm definitely coming back!

When I visit Denver I seek out this spot. The food, especially the green chili is so tasty. I always get Huevos Rancheros. Service has always been kind and quick. It is pretty much a “hole in the wall” but I appreciate the character and humbleness.

Probably some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had! I will definitely be coming back anytime I'm in the area.

Absolutely delicious!!! Best Mexican I’ve had in Denver. The green chili is absolutely delicious. Each burrito or taco comes with so much delicious meat it’ll for sure fill you up! Can’t recommend enough

Stumbled upon this restaurant this morning. La Abeja serves the best Mexican food in Denver. I can’t believe I’ve lived in capital hill for over a year before discovering them! Hidden gem…I live within walking distance and can’t wait to go back.

A beautiful, enormous burrito for $10. The carnitas were so good! Best burrito I’ve had in Denver.

It's a no-frills place with delicious food that hits the spot. I've only had their tacos and need to venture out but it's hard when I know what works! It's fresh and hot and you won't be disappointed.

The best hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Authentic Mexican! I always order chicken flautas (a must). Everything is delicious! Street parking!

This place is amazing! The green chili was perfectly spicy. The street tacos were amazing an great quality. Best of all, the staff was very nice and the restaurant was clean.

This is a true hidden gem. The chili is spicy and delicious and super flavorful without pork!! It is a family owned business and has been here for years. Don't let the store front deter you! If you like spicy and delicious this is a MUST try! I always get the asada torta with a side of chili and my man gets the asada burrito add onions. Their green tomitillo salsa is amazing as is the red taco sauce. They also have tamales in the winter time but you have to ask, their not always on the menu.

I rarely, rarely give bad reviews, and I'm not a rude person. simply put, they looked at me like I shouldn't be in there, and the burrito completely fell apart when I opened the foil, Must have been having a rough morning but It's hard to screw up a breakfast burrito.

Wow this place is the best. It's a little run down but don't let that fool you. One of the best Mexican restaurants around at a great price. I will be visiting often.

Chilaquiles were delicious, 2nd only to my mom's. Horchata has never tasted so good, I literally mean never. Must try if you are in the mood for delicious Mexican food.

The best menudo ever!! Everything we ordered was just over the moon delicious!! Everyone was beyond polite and so accommodating! Can't wait to go back!!

The inside was so uncomfortable due to the extreme heat. It had to have been around 100° inside. Even the drinks out of the cooler were warm! The burrito I had was very bland, and the green Chile sauce was soooooo spicy

Very solid tacos in Denver (where there are many places to choose from). Open early too which is great if you're craving chilaquiles or just some really good tacos for breakfast.

This family owned nook has been around for over 15+ years! Authentic Mexican food that won't break the bank. From flavor to service, they are very good. We ordered 4 different tacos and a smothered green Chili burrito. Each item was generously stuffed with all the goodies. Meat piled high on the tacos. Portions are large enough to have left overs. The only downside is the parking but that's downtown for ya. Definitely worth the try and if I lived next door I'd be there everyday.

Staff was friendly and food was made fast. I had the chilaquiles and they were amazing! Beta chilaquiles.

The food is good and I don't think it's that expensive for 10 to 20 you eat well..
