I enjoyed this place but it is definitely overpriced, but it makes sense since it is downtown. The vibe is spectacular though. Lots of indoor seating and a fantastic looking bar. I would come back again, especially after seeing a show at the Curious Theatre.

This place is epic. The food is amazing. The portions are defiantly worth the price. The drink are amazing. And the atmosphere is really nice. The people could use some work but the food makes up for it by far. Come in a enjoy some really full tacos and a margarita.

This was my first visit to any Torchy Tacos. The service was fast and friendly. The food came quickly and tasted good. There’s parking in the lot as well as metered street-side parking.

Tacos and drinks are phenomenal. Drink specials during the weekends are $3.50 mimosas, bloody Mary’s, and tequila sunrise. The Tipsy Chick and Baja Shrimp tacos are a favorite. The service is great and the atmosphere is very laid back. Come for the margs and get an amazing taco.

Tex mex style tacos. Good portion can fill you up. You firet order the food, then get seated. There is a bar area with TV screen. A simple place. The cleanliness could be improved.

Torchy's Tacos, I have missed you so! I haven't had Torchy's since traveling to Dallas in 2019. Having been multiple times over a few years, I have never had a bad experience! In fact, every visit has been excellent. The queso is exquisite. Absolutely the best I've had. It has a wonderful kick and rich taste. Today I ordered from the not so secret "secret menu". The Matador and the Naughty Santa. Both delicious! My fiance ordered the Wrangler and our friend ordered the Democrat. Great reviews all around! We arrived at 1130 to beat the lunch rush, though even though they became busy the team handled it well. I was thrilled to see there are several Denver locations. I'm sure they are all excellent based on my experience over several locations. Bottom line? Get thee to a Torchy's Tacos and experience the friendly atmosphere and team, and eat some food you'll be smiling over!

Great taco place. Decided to go here to try something new. Really nice. Staff very friendly, great looking bar, food got brought out to us FAST, and delicious food! The democrat taco I got was good (without the onions) , and my dad’s chicken fajita taco was good too, and so was the great selection of drinks they got. Took a star away because the portions were way different in the 1st and 2nd batch of my democrat taco. And the churros were doughy and too thick but the caramel sauce was good though. Overall, great taco place. Would recommend and will be back :) . 1st and 2nd batch of the democrat taco are attached (Photos 16 & 17 of 21) .

If they made tortillas in house then it would be PERFECT... delicious food + great service, so I'm good. It is a little sad that alcohol & I do not mix right now...

Limited vegetarian choices, but food tasted good. Friendly staff. Don't forget to try their hot sauces. Fried Avocado Taco, Air Stream Salad, and Queso are good. Free parking on site, bit limited but plenty of it available.

Torchy’s never disappoints! I first went in Austin and was so excited to find a Denver location. 10/10 as usual. PS really excited to be the 5,000th review

I never have a bad experience at Torchy's! The tacos are fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the restaurants are always clean. It's far and away the most consistent taco chain I have come across, and I can't help but stop whenever I'm in a city that has one.

Mediocre at best across the board. Staff was meh. Not mean but not enthusiastic either. Tables and seats were dirty and I had to ask someone to wipe ours down. Tacos were decent but maybe my expectations were just too high. One of our taco orders were extremely salty so I took a star away for that as well. Guac and salsa was delicious!

It's been a few years since I've been to Torchy's, and I still like it! Very different and creative tacos to choose from, GREAT queso and chips and if your into it fun drinks! My only dissapointment this time is I love the fried avocado taco......I remember it always having such a good amount of avocado, yet this time it is small and skrawny....if you look at my photos, all the meat tacos has sooo much in it you can easily soo the meat under the topping, but with the avocado it's lost and impossible to see. I will still return as the food is always good. Just might reconsider the avocado taco.

Really surprised - expected good tacos with the hype around this place, but these were fabulous! The tacos are medium - big and all have really quality ingredients. Prices aren’t bad for what you get either. Meats are awesome. I has brisket, pork and salmon. This is a very Americanized taco joint - tons of fried variants available on their menus as well. I immediately wanted to pull a comparison between the taco joint on Santa Fe “El Taco de Mexico,” as that spot is also extremely good. The tacos at El Taco de Mexico range from $3-$4 and are exceptional. The tacos at Torchy’s are $5-$7. I personally believe this is a directly proportional improvement on the tacos for the price - definitely more expensive, but bigger and can be as tasty. Again, this is a more Americanized joint, so the taste being as good to the former restaurant is subjective. Only complaint I have is I wish they were open late - until 12AM on weekends at least. I’d come here all the time if that was the case.

Good tacos. Got out of the Quiktrip kitchen very quickly. The bacon egg and cheese was definitely a go to. Very easy good breakfast tacos. The sauces were kind of fun. Environment and atmosphere was all right. Good bar and good drinks.

Got the fried chicken, jerk chicken and Baja shrimp, and a happy hour sangria. All was good, great service but maybe came out too fast? I’d rather have the kitchen take the time to warm up the tortillas than take a bite into one that is ice cold 🥶 Also if I’m dining in, why are we getting each sauce for each taco in a plastic container? I guess it’s faster but seems wasteful. I’m happy to be inconvenienced for 20 seconds more to get the sauces in dipping containers that’s not plastic. COVID protocols are over; no employees were wearing masks. This seems like an easy starting point to be more environmentally friendly. Regardless I’d come back to try their breakfast items too.

When this first Torchy’s in Denver opened circa 2016 (now there are 8!), there was crazy hype. People lined up around the block, in a blizzard, to get a taste of this Austin legend. 5+ years later and they still are pumping out the queso-drenched, bacon-laden tex-mex favorites. Although this place has seen better days, it’s still delivers.

The flavor of Taco is good! I like the shrimp taco most! The flour tortilla is better than corn tortilla for me.

Awesome Mexican food. Had a couple of tacos and the street corn. I loved everything! The flavor of the street corn was amazing! I could eat 5 portions easily.

Stopped in for dinner after a day of adventures. Tried several different tacos as well as the chips and queso. The queso came out lukewarm at best and would have been much better at a higher temperature. The rest of the food is not your typical traditional or authentic Mexican cuisine, but it is many different and good combinations of flavors. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Drinks were delicious and fairly priced. Tacos were outstanding at usual. We sometimes eat at the Torchy's on Arapahoe Rd and this one on S Broadway blows it's doors off in terms of taco size!

Big fan of Torchys. Good service, fun tacos, and a relaxed hip atmosphere. Counter purchase but the trays are brought to you and bussed, and the bar is really nice. Usually just two or three tacos is enough for me!

Okay drink 10/10 Chips 9/10 Tacos 6/10 The drink was flippin amazing… best part of my lunch, as for the tacos, I wasn’t super stoked about the meat, chips and salsa pretty good 🌮🌯🫔

Pretty good, the tacos weren't super hot (temperature) but they were flavorful and unique options. Great queso and cool atmosphere. We ordered a lot of food and a beer, $25 per person. My husband got the Brushfire and it was super spicy, he loved it.
