Fantastic service. Cool funky setting. The food was an experience. Each dish made me pause as I savored every bite. Go eat here!!!! It’s like food art.

Genuinely enjoyed the muscles and the wine, however the service and entrees left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for our second app 45 minutes into our reservation as it still hadn't come out. At around an hour we were informed that both our entrees had been 86'd. I completely understand that popular items often sell out, but am not certain as to why we weren't informed of this until an hour into our reservation. We then changed our orders to the pork and fazoletti, but evidently these orders weren't prioritized because groups that came in well after us received their entrees before us (we were also just a two-top). At no point were we offered an explanation or even a simple apology as our wait for entrees continued on past 90 minutes. When I was finally able to get our waiter's attention to ask for an update and why later reservations were getting their food before us I was told "Well we had to kind of think on our feet with the steak being sold out." Our entrees came 1 hour and 45 minutes into our reservation. The sauce on the pork was quite tasty, but the meat itself was disappointingly dry and the pasta was exceptionally bland. When we informed our waiter of this, the response was "Do you want boxes?" I appreciate that this is an outlier of a review, but the sense I got from waitstaff was that they're so accustomed to being lauded, that any feedback or comments that don't indicate complete and utter satisfaction are disregarded as being unreasonable or inaccurate. From both my girlfriend's and my experience, you could do a whole lot better for the price.

We had a fabulous dinner at Potager. Food was exquisite - creative, beautiful, and delicious. We sampled a variety of little plates and main dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend!!!

My husband and I were traveling through Denver on my birthday and chose Potager on a whim for my birthday dinner. It turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had! We didn't have reservations but were quickly seated at their beautiful bar, which was spacious and quite comfortable. The server was quick to check in with us and took her time to recommend wines I might like. The menu rotates frequently but we were incredibly happy with everything we ordered, the dishes were all beautifully presented, creative, and of course delicious! We loved the ambiance of the space and hope to be back on future trips, highly recommend to other diners.

Potager is popular on Ogden Street in Denver…. Regan took care of us and made it a perfect eat-out evening…. Cuisine was perfectly prepared with my pictures saying it all!!

Very overpriced for such a small quantity of food. We tried several different things and the only thing good was the mussels. I tried 2 different red wines and those were not good either. Our waitress did not check on us often enough. She never offered to fill up our water and with each thing we ordered at separate times she only checked on us once to see if we liked it. We told her we didn't like one of our small plates and she didn't seem to care or offer to comp us. Anyone who gives this place high ratings has low standards. They do not know what high quality food is. Very disappointed. offetcomp

Absolutely blown away by this place. The staff love each-other, carefully curated menu, good wine, bright open space! This fresh-caught halibut will be in my dreams. A real neighborhood gem :)

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Denver. The small gently lit space is very intimate and creates the best atmosphere for a multi-course dining experience. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable on the wine choices and offered amazing suggestions. We loved Potager!

Dinner was delicious. We got the chorizo flatbread, lobster+fennel salad, the half chicken, and the salmon with the apricot sauce. Can't wait to go back again!!!

This place is AMAZING! They really put some fun and unique thought into everything while maintaining a strict emphasis on ethics, which I Iove! They are a locally owned and family run restaraunt who also supports local suppliers so its a win-win. The new fall menu is spectacular and their wine list is frankly unbeatable! Especially in Denver! More than reasonable prices for the quality you get! Oh, and check out the apple crisp!

Hands down the single best restaurant in Denver. The rotating menu is endlessly creative and interesting, and the wine selection is incredible. Paired with such a cozy and inviting dining room, you won't want to leave!

I had been eyeing this restaurant for over a year and decided it would be the perfect place to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was quaint and comfortable. It felt like I was sitting in a friends back patio. The service was lovely and the food was fantastic! I highly recommend trying to get a table here if you’re around the area. I would definitely go back for another special occasion.

Very fresh, great people and atmosphere. Menu rotates every month or so. The seared tuna was amazing. 1/2 chicken is really good. Duck special was good. Nice wine list to choose from. Employee owned, really, really good vibe and plenty of variety for every want and need.

First of all, the food is quite alright, I'd say it's on the good side even though portions are rather small for the value. But the menu is quite atrocious and no thought went into design and a good user experience. Unless their goal is to give some time to the kitchen by keeping guests confused while deciphering the menu, I don't think it's successful. The conversation after we set down about how badly designed the menu was, was an entertaining conversation though. It's ok for a place to be quite crowded during the weekend but when we arrived, it took us a while to find out what was going on despite having a reservation because no one was manning the front. Also space is very tightly packed and too loud for a conversation as a result. The food is what's pushing this place up to 4 stars from everything else that was letting the place down. I found the experience generally unpleasant enough that I would not return just for the food. You should try once if you live in the area, see if you're fine with this. If you're a tourist, you can live without trying this place.

This restaurant has a rustic indoor space and a beautiful covered and heated outdoor space. The menu is a perfectly curated collection of very delicious food. There are vegetarian options as well as non vegetarian. There are small plates and large, and our server was able to guide our party of six as to how much to order. The wine selections were also excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back.

When we first moved to Denver, I read that Potager is the restaurant that Alice Waters chooses to dine at when she visits our fine city, and I would say that is the perfect vision to have in your head if you are thinking about dining at Potager. Over 25 years ago, this wonderful restaurant started with farm to table dining. In the many times I have dined here, I have never had a negative experience or even a semi good dish - they are all incredible. If cheers were a wonderful restaurant, family run, with spectacular and fair priced wines, you’d have Potager. Hands down best food in Denver, best staff ever, and a spectacular atmosphere. Denver is lucky to have this gem.

The food is the perfect example of fresh and seasonal ingredients. We had falafel that had more bold flavors than I thought one could put into an appetizer - it was incredible. The risotto with oxtail and pumpkin was out of this world and their wine list is all you need. All with prompt and friendly service. I can't wait to get back.

Unfortunately this place was a miss for me. Food was bland, not tasty at all. Very expensive for what you get. They don’t have a liquor license, so beer and wine only. Which is fine for me, but not the rest of my party. The wine selection was good. We were in a large party and it was pretty cramped in there. Keep your party at 4 or less. It was extremely loud sooo no conversations either. Anyway. I’m sure it’s great for some but definitely not for us.

Myself and our monthly dinner group went to Potager and everything was fantastic! The food tasted fresh and combined amazing flavors/textures - we shared a lot of the plates amongst 5 of us so we were able to try a lot. I can’t pick a favorite because I loved it all! Our server was outstanding and checked in often with us. Parking was easy to find at 5pm in the neighborhood and it was just a quick walk over. Highly recommend!

Potager is always a home run. Their menu is always changing which means you always get to try something new but once you find something great it is off the menu. The service is always wonderful and the food is fantastic and fun. I think Potager is the top of Denver food scene.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Denver. The souffles are a must-have but you really can't go wrong with anything.

Excellent food and wine selections, with a focus on locally farm ingredients. Each menu item is worth a try!

I love the concept of the farm to table and very fresh menu. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and wine, and helped guide us on a bottle selection based off of the menu that we were interested in. They’ve had their flatbread On their menu for over 20 years, it was cracker thin, very tasty. There appetizer soufflé is very notable and it highly recommend that!We also shared a Delightful salad and the pork entree. The pork was definitely interesting, that’s what we were going for. It was in a broth with polenta, but it was pulled pork in a casing. I would try something different for entrées next time, but I love the uniqueNess! We finished with a slice of their apple pie and also tried that peanut butter ice cream. I’ll definitely be back and love the neighborhood vibe with great attention to detail in a thoughtful menu

We stopped by on a Tuesday evening and were instantly captivated by the warm, rustic atmosphere. Attentive, friendly staff took care of our needs and helped guide us through several courses that were absolutely delicious. If you’re here on a Tuesday make sure to try the burger, it’s probably the most delicious we’ve ever had!

Delicious farm to table cuisine with a seasonal rotating menu. The wine is always superb and make sure to ask the servers for all of their recommendations because they will not lead you astray! This has become my go to spot for celebrations or taking out of town visitors to a nice dinner. Love this place. You will too. Enjoy!

What a great restaurant. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service, excellent and fresh food, great wine selection, and fun ambiance. We did a walk in on a Tuesday night and got a table, but highly recommend getting a reservation if you can. Definitely up there for one of the best restaurants in Denver!
