Decent little spot. For the price, i think they miss the mark a bit on the surf and turf and we ordered crab cakes to be told they were out of them which wasn’t cool. The sushi tacos were very good and their happy hour was decent.

I’ve been to Earls many times. In Tyson’s corner, in Plano, Toronto… and I always find it to be well managed, organized , and very customer focused- I think I did a review of one of the locations way back and gave it 4+ stars. Well, we must have found the one night In Denver when Earl handed the keys over to … maybe the dude who runs the dive bar Down The road (well, I know - that’s not fair to dive bars and I do love Dive Bars). Bottom line was that service was awful, the bartender was slow and at mostly unfocused on the very light traffic at the bar in some inattentive, sporadic methodology . Worst though, was the Rag. The rag that she used to clean our bar spot, after sitting there for 7 min (that’s a guess because I only started timing after 5 min when we realized she was deeply engrossed In A conversation with a group across the bar and may not turn our way). That rag stunk. And stunk our two bar spots. 30 min later, there was a reprise of the smelly ghastly rag when a couple sat down. Service was poor. She seemed like she was new to bar service. We waited a long time between drinks and ordering food. Her manager tried to help but to some minimal level of professional acclaim. She was nice when we spoke with her- maybe an off night for her or a first week? By the way, as a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt (there should be statistically 3 of you reading this) - there were so many 5S opportunities! Regardless, We decided to bail after prolonged poor service , watching other bar sitters getting annoyed, and that rag that kept getting used! At least Miami won. We ended up going to Coyote Ugly down the block- and the service was outstanding!!! :-) I’m still going to Earls - it is a quality place - just assume this was an anomaly! And that they throw out that smelly rag! The 3 stars are for my memories from all the other Earls that have been awesome. Good luck smelly rag.

This is definitely a must try Denver gem. If you’re in Denver, Colorado and looking for a new spot in town. This is one of them. I enjoyed the experience; from the food to decor. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Good food and amazing sangria unfortunately service could have been better. I tried to order a drink before happy hour closed out, but the server didn’t come back until a minute after 5pm then refused to offer the deal. We closed out with a cash tip only to find out later they tried to also add a tip onto the bill with the card. Super shameful and won’t be back for the service alone.

Service was phenomenal, our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was pretty good, very expensive though! I decided to try and save a little bit so I just got the appetizer of crispy ribs and it was $20 with tip. Everyone at my table seemed to really enjoy their meals. So I say, if you’re willing to drop quite a bit of money and splurge a little bit, this place is a great place to go!

This is a solid burger. Patty is a little thin, but it gets the job done. Nothing special, especially at this price point. The truffle fries were good, but not extraordinary. They went a bit overboard with the pepper. What was fantastic, however, was the crème brûlée. Certainly the best one I’ve ever had. Service was also fantastic. Not sure I’d come back here, simply because of the price, but there are some good aspects to it.

Best birthday brunch I've ever had... and I've had MANY! From the greeting we received by Julia at the hostess stand, we had a feeling we were going to be in for a treat. Our server Bishop was EXCELLENT - super attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, my husband could watch the game, our mimosa glasses were never empty, and I was serenaded with a birthday song and got sticky toffee pudding on the house...and a birthday card. Thinking of moving to Denver because of this place.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised I haven't been to Earl's in a while. They had great menu options. Pretty creative menu. The calamari was delicious, I had halibut. My husband had lobster ravioli. He thought it was a little bit lacking seasoning. But I did think my miso halibut was delicious. The ambiance was great. Service was fantastic. The drinks were pretty good. It was a little bit overpriced for what you're getting but I'm not sure if that's just because of inflation, but I do think they could have been a little bit lower in price. It also looks like they have a great patio for lunch in the downtown Denver location.

This is a great spot on 16th. The menu is very diverse with seafood, American, and Mexican options. They also have a vegan section. The prices are high, but you get a good portion of food. Everything we had was mad perfectly and tasted amazing. The drinks were a bit inconsistent with how strong they were though. Our waitress was not very nice, she was a bit aggressive and uninterested. However, the experience was fun. It’s a bit spendy but I highly recommend it.

We made reservations for 11 am on a Sunday. We were sat immediately, no issue bc we were the first ones there lol. Our waitress was kind of rude. Since we were the first ones there I was expecting our food to come out hot. It didn't. The ambiance was a good vibe but we did notice our 3rd mimosa had alot more oj than the previous ones so that sucked. Overall for the price of the brunch special I'd do it again.

Incredible food. The Earl’s Original burger with the parmesan fries are nothing short of amazing. The bartender is also really nice. They have kombucha & non-A options if you’re not in the mood to drink.

We ate here for Happy Hour the other day, the food was very delicious but the service was horrible. We were seated immediately and told that Savannah would be our server. Since it was pretty late in the night the restaurant wasn’t busy, but it somehow took 20 minutes for Savannah to arrive to even take our drink orders. She only got worse from there. After waiting forever for our drinks to arrive, we asked her if we could place our order since we had already been waiting on her for 30+ minutes. She informed us that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes (which turned out to be a blatant lie), but she would be right back to take our order. Well Savannah decided to stop by all of her other tables instead and did not actually come right back to us at all. At one point we even made eye contact with her as she was passing by our table and she still did not come to take our order. This is when the manager noticed that we were looking for her and came by to take our order for her. Her lack of attention to our table felt purely like discrimination as we were her only black table and she was very attentive to the rest of her tables. It is unfortunate that her terrible service ruined the experience for us.

I’ve been to the Earls in boston before and usually love the food. The one in Denver was alright- nothing too bad about ne food but none of the stuff we ordered was particularly great.

Amazing food and amazing service 10/10 would recommend. Zuzu was a wonderful server and deserves a raise! She made she made our experience that much better! We got the Yucatán chicken tacos and crunching shrimp sushi tacos. Both were great. Highly recommend Earl’s

Took my uncle and aunt to Earl's for lunch this week. They said it was the best food they had during their whole visit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drink choices, and made good recommendations. The one bit of critical feedback we'd give, reduce the portion size for lunch or folks that just don't eat as much 😀

Neat signature old fashioned mixed with Michter's Kentucky Straight. I recommend the drink. Meh-style ribs with pretty presentation. Next time goto Happy Hour every day 2pm - 5pm & 9pm - close. Across from 16th Street Promenade. Lyft pickup on 16th and Glenarm. Overall a pretty place and am still here on my second Earls Old Fashioned. Enjoy!

We visited Earl's for a company lunch and to preview their event space for a cocktail party we are planning on hosting for our client. When entering the event space, you are struck by the all of the natural light from the wall of windows that open in the warm weather, and the modern and inviting atmosphere. This space can host over 100 guests while maintaining an inviting and intimate atmosphere. Guests are also able to enjoy the full bar in the space and plenty of seating. After viewing the event space, we enjoy a delicious lunch in the downstairs dining area. This sophisticated room is the perfect spot for a professional lunch with the team. The menu had everything from a delicious bowl of clam chowder to my favorite, a surf and turf plate of steak and sushi. If you find yourself looking for a complete dining experience, be sure to visit Earl's!

Drinks were great! Dry rub ribs were great! The seafood tower was less than desirable. Lobster and oysters smelled a bit off. Waitress said that happens when they freeze it for too long….yikes.

Disclaimer: Our friends came for a New Year’s Eve dinner. It took over 2 hours to get appetizers, we were asked to order drinks at the bar and the food was cold with poor presentation. We kept getting very little attention. The kitchen was backed up but there’s a degree on when it’s completely unacceptable and for a party of 7 on a holiday it was very frustrating. We ended up ordering whatever was easiest for the kitchen (i.e., French fries) for their convenience and the downstairs hosts didn’t seem too concerned. Waitress and staff were very embarrassed and apologized but this is a mistake on management and the kitchen. Furthermore, we were asked to change some of our orders because they found out late that they had run out of our chosen dishes. Very disappointing first visit and absolutely sure we will not come again.

Great spot at lunch. Michael did an excellent job. Said it was his just third shift. We would not have known. He knew the menu well and was very attentive. Enjoyed lunch.

Had a great meal! We came with a big party from CDC during dinner and some our more introverted dinner mates made an observation that our server forgot about us. I feel they could've spoken up though not my bag. Once we did order However, everyone agreed how great everyone meals looked and tasted. We ordered the starter elote with guac, 14oz ribeye and spicy tuna roll, and the tuna sushi tacos, as well as the yummy, though tiny, espresso martini. Some are pictured and the servings on the food were pretty massive. Would recommend and would just say to speak up when you're ready to order.

Bartender was super friendly, sorry I didn’t catch your name man. Three courses and one drink cost about $60 for one person, so prices are on the high side. Every item was of high quality though. Buffalo Cauliflower, Half Salmon plate, and Crème Brûlée. Mai Tai was tasty as well. Overall worth the visit

If you’re visiting Denver this place is a must!! My family visited for the holidays and we had Ari as our server!! She was so pleasant and suggested some of her favorite items which were all delicious!! The crab cakes were phenomenal! Ari was so inviting and welcoming ( which was much appreciated since were not from here). We had an overall amazing experience, next time we’re in town we’ll definitely be coming back 🤗🤗

Atmosphere was nice. Food was ok at best, ordered buffalo cauliflower and the appetizer was warmer than our entrees that had meat. Salmon bowl and chicken tacos had a temperature of cold leftovers left in the car. Fries were also room temperature. Soda had zero carbonation. Server's demeanor was fine, quality out of the kitchen and bar was questionable. Will look elsewhere next time. Pricey for what we experienced.

Fantastic food. They were a little understaffed but everyone was super nice about it!

Highly recommend! Our server was very nice and recommended this dish to me. It’s the vegan Mother Earth salad. I wish they had more NA options, but other than that I would go back.

It was super awesome! They had unicorns and really good tea and they didn't even make fun of when I peed myself.

  • 4/5 Matt R. 2 years ago on Google
So, I would give five stars, except I feel it's overpriced. I suppose you're paying for atmosphere and presentation here, which were both nice. But, I'm sorry, there is no reason all their burgers need to be $20+ Don't get me wrong, it was tasty and all, but it's not like it was the best burger I've ever had. It may be the most expensive.... Overall, the staff were great, it's a really nice place, just not worth the money for a burger anyway....
