Denver Union Station is such a beautiful and historic landmark. I love the interior design and furniture. We appreciated the information booth lady who helped us decide what to do in the downtown area. We also enjoyed the unique offerings of the coffee shop inside the station. There was a unique waffle vendor inside as well with delicious waffle options - we tried the churro one which was awesome.

Union Station was our central hub for travel inside and outside of Denver. We used the A-Line to get from the airport to downtown. The ticket kiosks walked you through the purchase steps. Some of our friends had trouble but there were representatives around to help. It cost $10.50 one way. At the end of our trip, we took the train back to the airport. The inside of Union Station is quite beautiful and relaxing. There are bathrooms, a bar, restaurants, a coffee shop, and a gift shop. I'm sure there's probably more I didn't see. Unfortunately, we were there at 6am and nothing was open. There were no announcements about arriving/departing trains so you have to pay attention. Not sure if this was a fluke or not. The pews/benches have outlets on the sides so you can charge your devices while you want. This is a place that I could probably hang out and do work the next time I'm in Denver.

We were looking forward to visiting this famous historic landmark on our recent trip. Union Station is located in the heart of the Mile High City for more than a century. The station’s architecture is historically beautiful indoors and outdoors! Just one word…WOW!!! 😍 We didn’t have to catch a train, we actually came here to see what we had heard about this place and for breakfast! Had no idea a train station could be this nice! There are plenty of antique solid wood sitting benches. Loved the workmanship here including the moldings. This is such a nice gathering place. The retail shops and eateries are very convenient and the bathrooms are relatively clean. If you haven’t seen this place yet then you should definitely check it out. Highly recommend! 😃

This place used to be a beautiful desirable place but now as the years have gone by it has slowly turned into what looks like a homeless shelter. I unfortunately had to stop here for some drinks with my boss and colleagues while waiting for a dinner reservation nearby and for some reason when I had to go to the bathroom I had the experience of being interrogated by a fake cop as to what I was doing trying to go to the bathroom. Unless the security guard wants to work as a bathroom attendant I don’t see it necessary to be halted and asked what he can do for me since I didn’t have a receipt as we were running a tab, maybe he should he educated on such instances of peoples lives.

Train delayed until 3am while you travel with a small child? God help you, because the "security" at Denver's Union Station sure won't rest until they've made you feel both uncomfortable and criminal. Sitting on a couch with same small child? Be ready to show them your travel documents. Have the audacity to later sit cross-legged on the same couch, hours after producing the proper docs? Not under their watch. I was told I had to keep both feet on the floor or else I'd be in violation of their "Code of Conduct." I asked to see it in writing, so here it is for y'all, too, since it's not publicly posted. Oh, and the man who informed of this wore a gun. Hey, it's not like I want to be here, dude. Six hours' delay wait time is nobody's first plan. In short: Denver has got to be the least welcoming city I've ever visited, and the people policing Union Station exemplify that vibe. Can't wait to never spend my money or time here again.

Stopped in to look around and have a drink. Everything was good except the two male security guards standing outside the ladies room looking inside and I thought it was weird. There was a female security guard in the restroom with a troubled woman that was having some issues. They got the woman out and we went about our visit with no further incidents.

Absolutely amazing train station in central Denver. The outside is absolutely beautiful and had become a landmark and inside there are plants of delicious restaurants and bars. In the summertime outside seating is wonderful, especially at Stoic and Genuine. At Christmas time the really dress the place up and have two large Christmas trees and an outdoor Christmas market. The Terminal bar is a great place to grab a cocktail and people watch. A couple of the bars and restaurants have excellent happy hours as well.

The heart of downtown Denver. While it may be small, this station is cozy and highlights the historical era of Colorado. Although, one has to be a paying customer to use the bathrooms, the aesthetic is 10/10

It’s a needed hub for important transfers. I have to use it but if I had a better choice, I’d skip it because of all the transients there smoking narcotics, especially in the elevators so if you have luggage, you have to make several trips on the stairs. People forget that there are also children that use RTD with their parents. There’s not enough security.

Very nice train station with comfortable seats, some good eateries, and the architecture of the building was nice. The only minor problem I had here one time was that I was sitting down for a short time, and a security guard approached me and told me I had to buy something if I wanted to stay, so I bought a coffee and I was not bothered again after that. Otherwise, all else was good. This is also a nice place to relax and read, have a coffee, have a beer, have a snack, and recharge in between going from one place to another place.

It’s a old railway station. But it’s not just a railway station. U can sit and eat- so many restaurants are there. You can drink and enjoy- a bar is there. It was actually opened in 1881. Then it was rebuilt in 1914. Again in 2014 it revitalised after 100 years. A luxury hotel Crawford is also available for stay. A historic land mark of Denver.

Union station itself is awesome! I’ve lived here my whole life and I love how they have revitalized the place! All the shops and restaurants are great! Along with the staff that inhabits them! However, the increased police presence is NOT! I understand that crime has increased here, as it has across the whole city. But to be interrogated by an officer whilst merely trying to use the restroom has turned me off from ever wanting to be here again. This is certainly not increasing public use and commerce from a place that should be great, beneficial, and respected in our city. I’m disgusted and will promptly spend my money and time elsewhere. Come here at your own risk, and don’t hope that you might have to use the bathroom while you’re at it.

I like to come here sometimes to relax and to read- it’s a very comfortable and nice place to past the time in the evenings. I was here two nights ago with a friend to enjoy an ice cream and a nice conversation. With the Christmas lights and decorations it feels like you’re back in the early 20th century.

Union station is a gorgeous historical space with wonderful options for food & beverage. Feedback - the homeless activity both inside and outside the station could be managed differently. Be sure to keep an eye on your surroundings when frequenting the area.

Very cool place. It's actually a train station that offers so much more. Some small boutique shops, a couple of bars, and a couple restaurants. A big common area in the middle with plush seating and shuffleboard. And there is a hotel attached to it. Definitely worth a stop as it's in the heart of downtown and walking distance from Coors field and tons of shops and bar/restaurants.

A train station with a character. This is a great place to rest during your travels. If you're not traveling, this is also a great place just to visit. There's a few good options for food (try to make a reservation if you want to get seated fast).

Historic train depot that now encompasses several bars, restaurants, coffee shops and still operates as a hotel. Craft cocktails at Termnial Bar are a great start or end to an evening on the town. Union station decorates beautifully for most popular holidays. Close proximity to Coors Field, fine dining, the 16th Street mall and of course - the light rail and A line train to DIA. Dizzy Duzz Union Station!

We attended the Grand Reopening of Union Station nearly 10 years ago and are no less awed by it today. Historic, safe, vibrant, with loads of shops and restaurants. Conveniently located next to the main RTD bus terminal and situated right in the middle of LoDo. A million things to do in this place and in the immediate vicinity. Highly recommended.

Our Hotel room was amazing, and we got free perks within Union station like coffee and ice cream vouchers. Immediatly surrounding and some even connected to the station are fantastic dining options. Pretty clean compared to Seattle right now, I'll tell ya that. Loved it, I'll be back!

I love union station! We always go here with dad when we take the A line from DIA. Nice places to go eat, beautiful inside. Nice looking hotel, and shuffleboard! Very fun place in the summer where there’s a water play place out front and on the winter, nice and cozy! We’ll keep coming back whenever we take the train to DIA from here or to just hangout! Totally recommended!

Probably the only thing I like about Denver. Seriously, don't get me started on why I don't like Denver. However, Denver Union Station was love at first sight. My first time arriving into Denver was via Amtrak. What an experience. The aesthetic of it all is gorgeous. I'm so pleased that it's kept very well maintained. There are bus services downstairs and local trolley trains that can go as far as the airport. There's a variety of eateries that are all going to be on the pricey side, but there's a lot of options depending on what you're looking for. This is a magnificent place to just sit and people watch. It can get busy. Like any station, be mindful of your surroundings. However, I felt safe for the most part. There's security that walks around. I love that a lot of the history has melded into the modern industrial design.

Nice station, I take issue though when a public entity is quasi- privatized and then employs private contractors and the publicly paid police force to criminalize the less fortunate. Limiting those who have nowhere to go by placing restrictions, time limits, and the sort is very cold and heartless. Says alot about a city and the priorities they have when these methods are deployed citywide

They have restored this grand railroad station into a hotel that has a central lobby surrounded by eateries. It's a very elegant and comfortable place to wait for your light rail or Amtrak train. I love arriving here on the A line from the Denver airport.

I want to love Union Station, but unfortunately, it feels like it's overrun by homeless people. I absolutely want people to have a warm place to be, but there has to be a better solution. Denver really needs to address its drug and homeless problem. Please do better, Denver. Please take better care of your citizens.

The Denver Union Station was very nice! We stopped by for a quick bite but realized it offered way more than food. Union Station is actually a train station but has shops, bookstores, a hotel, bars and restaurants. Great place to visit, spend time with friends/family and take pictures.

Denver Union Station is a historic transportation hub located in the heart of Denver, Colorado. It was originally opened in 1881 and served as the main railway station for the city for over 100 years. The station has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years, including a major restoration in the early 2000s which transformed it into a modern transportation hub and mixed-use development. Today, Denver Union Station is a hub for several modes of transportation, including light rail, commuter rail, and bus services. The station is also home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and offices, making it a bustling hub of activity. It is a popular destination for travelers and locals alike, who come to enjoy the historic architecture and the bustling atmosphere. From Denver Union Station, you can take the transit to some of the city's best destinations, including the Denver Art Museum, the Colorado Convention Center, and the Lower Downtown (LoDo) neighborhood. Whether you're commuting to work, exploring the city, or just stopping by for a bite to eat, Denver Union Station is a convenient and accessible location that offers a little bit of everything for everyone.

Nice place to visit, handful of dining options in and around, place itself is well kept, lobby attendants on hand, security, and a beautiful place to get off the public train coming in and out of airport. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is you get a few people that look homeless that get access to public restrooms.

I love Denver Union Station. Appreciate the central hub function it serves to public transit system and admire the grand building that it is housed in. However, part of the building is now a hotel and some parts are not accessible to public. This is also an area where you'll easily find homeless people roaming around.

Denver Union Station is in a good location. The ability to connect and transfer from rail to bus and Amtrak is good for business. The retail shops and eateries are convenient. Restrooms are close and clean under the circumstances. This location has serious issues when dealing with the homeless population. There are efforts to make it a better place for all.

Denver union station is piece of Colorado's history.. they have converted whole older station into nice shopping center keeping the original artefacts like old table lamps and coach carts, waiting chairs etc.. you can board multiple trains from here, for E line you would have to walk bit farther.. Lot of homeless people wandering off the station and we saw a broken parking ticket collecting machine on campus just like that.. be safe..

A must visit in Denver. Beautiful architecture. Multiple places to enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. Plus, people were so welcoming and helpful as this was our first stop arriving by train from the airport. A security guard gal with a European accent could tell we were trying to find our way. She went out of here way to help us and guide us in the right direction. What a great start to our first day in Denver.

People confuse Denver Union Station with the Crawford Hotel. The hotel is in the old historic Union Station building but RTD busses are located underneath the ground. RTD light rail is on one end and Commuter rail is on the other. Overall during the day it is OK, however at night it is a homeless shelter with dangerous elements. Keep your love ones close and your head on a swivel.

Usually, I’m not one to leave a review but the service here was unbelievably terrible. I’m a minor traveling alone, I usually take Amtraks that are no more than 2 hours however I took one to Colorado. As expected, my train was severely delayed by 9 hours. I was scheduled to leave at 7 pm and ended up leaving at 4:30 am. So I waited at union station for the majority. The place was nice but crowded due to all the amenities. The security team had the utmost disrespect. They approached me very passive aggressively about setting my luggage down and propping my feet up. With that being said, they asked to see my ticket with no authority. Such rude manners. Towards the night they vulgarly told us to leave to the hard benches by the doors. It truly felt dehumanizing how they demanded us to move. Almost felt like we were criminals. They were also in posesión of weapons which added more to the uncomfortable situation. It is truly upsetting that Denver will be associated with cruelness of the security team.
