Lovely gem next to Denver’s union station. Very upscale and comfortable interior. Small but tasty breakfast menu. Really professional and friendly staff. I ordered the croissant sandwich and modified it to have no meat- it was really well made, the chilli sauce was a great touch and the croissant was crunchy like it should be.

Absolutely outstanding! Let’s start with our server! She was amazing! Pleasant, attentive, told us where to go and what to do (we traveled in from outdo state). Next, the food! Oh my gosh it felt like we were back in Italy. The quality, creativeness, flavor combos, execution all shined bright in every dish! Wish we had more time to dine here again before leaving.

My friend and I had a wonderful experience here. The lighting was nice and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were not pushy and allowed us to take our time with our order. Not a rush at all. No annoying check ins every 2 mins. We went during breakfast and the food was amazing and well priced. We felt like we had our money's worth in quality. Literally, we had a ratatouille moment when enjoying our meal. I'd highly recommend this place to others who enjoy well lit & clean restaurants with amazing food options. We ordered the croissant sandwich & salmon toast btw.

Cocktails were phenomenal, and the food was delicious. Keep in mind, portions are small so expect to order more than one per person. I go by this place daily on my commute, first time stopping in for a work dinner. They did a great job accommodating everyone (even with 2 other larger parties there) and the service was quick. They have some cheaper items that are more grab and go, think charcuterie style. The dinner items are what you would expect for a highly trafficked area, but the cost is justified for how good it is. Just keep in mind, portions are OK- but we ended up ordered seconds! Photos: cocktail is their gin and Tonic, super delicious. My meal was the ravioli (singular).

If this restaurant is indicative of the restaurant scene in downtown Denver, count me in!! I stopped in a little before closing on a Wednesday evening and they were gracious enough to take in this lowly traveling. The service was excellent and the food was too. My favorite was the sparkling water they serve… I don’t know why it tastes so exceptional but it was crisp and perfectly bubbly. Mmm! I ordered the Bread Service, the Salt Roasted Beet Salad and the Parisian Gnocchi which were all delightful. I left satisfied and happy with my experience. Definitely recommend!

While Denver has certainly changed over the years, this spot has been an unwavering constant, along with my mid morning visits when in town! Great coffee and even better pastries, the croissants are some of the best I have ever experienced:) The food was great this time around, always is. My cousin is a chef, the gals are both in the hospitality industry and we all deeply value reasonable service, quality food and good drinks. Everything we ordered was wonderful but yeah have to shout out that croissant again, definitely top tier in my croissant experiences haha. Definitely visit if downtown, this place should check all the boxes!!!

We ordered “prime short rib dip.” The sandwich brad is dip with oil. It doesn’t have meat and the small meat that used tastes canned food. We didn’t eat it. It was disgusting .

An upscale dining treat adjacent to Union Station is a farm to table experience to be enjoyed over and over again. The Korean Friend Chicken Sandwich and the Miso Salmon Bowl were overflowing with flavor and cooked expertly. From the vibes to the food you will not be disappointed!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I wish I had time during my short trip to Denver to go again. Food was delicious. Service was amazing. Atmosphere was comfortable. This will definitely be on my list for the next time I’m in Denver.

The food is amazing here. Our appetizer cheese honey cracker and cheese date cracker were both very tasty. The dry aged duck was fantastic! I can’t stop thinking about it after the meal. Just wish the portion could be a little larger. It’s more like an appetizer size. The cod here was excellent- tender and full of taste. I can tell the chef has put in a lot of thoughts and efforts to achieve all the great flavors. Great job! In the downside, we ordered two deserts. Strawberry tart and bread pudding. Both were disappointing. The strawberry tart just didn’t pull the different taste together and the bread pudding tasted like charred donut. But overall it’s still a fantastic meal. We will come back.

If you ever get the chance to experience the Chef's tasting, do it. We are fortunate enough to know one of the cooks so we were treated to an amazing dinner. The items are the same as on the regular menu but in smaller portions but with an added palette cleanser and fabulous desserts. We did the 5 course meal, which was a LOT of food (thankfully we didn't do the 8 course). I also did the wine pairing, which complemented the meal very well. We're already looking forward to coming back to Denver and doing it again.

Where to start! I enjoyed this restaurant in the airport (which has the best atmosphere!) and it was absolutely fantastic!! I ordered the Mercantile Burger and it was probably one of the best burgers I’ve had! I also wanted something sweet after and ordered the Chocolate Pot de Creme- DELICIOUS!! Whatever you want to order from here- it’ll be good. The staff I encountered (Kathy and Alan) were also extremely nice and easy to talk to! Absolutely recommend!

Had a wonderful dinner with wife over a nice summer evening while staying in Denver. The service was great and food was fantastic - we had the picnic on the patio which is like a prie fixe menu and it was great. Food fired and well grilled items. Nice ambiance and vibrant area with lots of local and tourist. Within easy walking distance to parks and attractions.

I have wanted to eat here forever and finally with Denver restaurant week I decided to come. I couldn’t be more disappointed. We ordered the risotto and it was very undercooked with cheap flavor and the flatiron steak was tough. The only reason I gave this place three stars was for their croissant bread pudding.

Absolutely incredible brunch. The hostess was super friendly and sat us quickly even without reservations. The drinks were tasty and there was a good beer selection. My friend enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The dish looked incredible….but we weren’t in a sharing mood. Unfortunately. I had the smoked Turkey sandwich and it was perfect. The meat was tender and Smokey. Ot had a great blend of flavors. Would definitely come back just for the sandwich. It was perfect. The fries were crispy and delicious as well. 10/10

Mercantile Dining & Provisions at Denver’s Historic Union Station is a bustling spot! The atmosphere is electric and befitting of a restaurant in such an iconic location. But let’s talk about the food—those shishito peppers were a revelation! They were easily the best I’ve ever had. Chef Alex Seidel’s commitment to bridging the gap between farmers, shepherds, chefs, and servers is evident in every dish. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s proof of the appreciation for the journey from farm to table. The story behind each dish is well-preserved and beautifully told.

I highly highly recommend the lemonade. I think it’s the best I’ve ever had!! They used to have the best brownies, - a fudgey, rich brownie with the thinnest crust layer on top, & sea salt visible as garnish/taste to perfection. This time, it was very different and seemed as though maybe they messed them up as the texture was also not congruent throughout the one I was served. Additionally the people serving me seemed rather impatient and the restaurant felt understaffed and rushed. I tried to make light friendly conversation with the woman who served me and she seemed irritated. I wasn’t asked if I wanted the brownie heated and watched the guy behind the counter grab it with his bare fingers and toss it into the oven (it is a very sticky brownie now-a-days so I found that to be a little gross). I ended up going back up to get a different pastry which was incredible!! Pain au raisin. Highly recommend. Maybe I came on an off day as I typically love this place, but I left feeling a bit not cared about as a customer and the brownie made me sad. Otherwise incredible place and I highly recommend it!

Excellent food. Excellent service. The lobster fritters and risotto gnocchi were a fantastic starter. I had the pork chops and loved them. Also, the chocolate croissant bread pudding is to die for. Will definitely be back.

Stopped here for a quick Latte and Pastry 🥐, until our brunch table would be ready at Snooze. It was lovely & cozy place, and I happy I had my coffee and Almond Croissant here.

Wow. Walked in here hungry after a long light rail experience hungry and tired. Sat at the bar & Juliette took care of me, she was so sweet!!!The staff was so welcoming and accommodating to my food allergy. The chef personally came out and told me what he could make. I love this place!!!!

Nice place for a quick drink. There are plenty of outlets to charge your devices if needed. The lamb meatballs were unexpectedly spicy and tasty. The graham cracker porter was a great value. Would definitely get again. The overall vibe was decent given the circumstances. Would definitely return.
