This
is
my
third
visit;
we’ve
gone
here
for
our
anniversary
the
last
two
years,
and
went
back
because
we
had
exemplary
service
and
food.
However,
this
visit
was
the
most
disappointing
visit
to
any
restaurant
I’ve
had
in
a
while.
First
off,
we
requested
a
certain
table,
because
that’s
the
same
table
we’d
been
seated
at
the
last
two
years.
The
server
we
had,
was
not
the
server
for
that
section,
so
she
took
someone
else’s
table.
Then
we
place
our
drink
and
appetizer
orders,
which
went
smoothly.
The
drinks
were
delicious,
and
the
calamari
was
just
as
good
as
it’s
been
the
last
two
years.
But
our
server
never
brought
bread
for
the
table
at
all.
The
person
who
was
actually
supposed
to
be
our
server
came
up
shortly
after
we
had
placed
our
orders
and
he
greeted
us
and
immediately
brought
water
and
bread
for
the
table.
When
he
realized
that
he
was
not
our
server,
he
seemed
disappointed
and
a
little
irritated
that
someone
had
taken
his
table.
After
a
while,
we
ordered
salads.
My
husband
ordered
his
first,
and
as
I
was
indecisive,
waited
until
the
appetizer
arrived
to
place
my
salad
order.
My
salad
came
first
and
we
asked
where
my
husband’s
salad
was,
and
our
server
said
that
due
to
an
error
with
the
POS
system,
the
salad
hadn’t
gone
through
and
she’d
get
it
to
us
as
soon
as
possible.
Then
when
his
salad
arrived,
it
was
dressed
so
heavily,
and
mine
was
overwhelmed
by
parsley.
We
asked
to
replace
them
with
something
else,
which
was
done
easily
enough
and
not
put
on
our
bill.
Then
the
entrees.
He
ordered
the
same
thing
that
he
ordered
last
year,
the
lamb
chops.
It’s
a
$34
plate,
so
we
had
a
standard
sent
in
our
minds
for
taste,
doneness,
and
presentation.
All
three
were
not
met.
We
ordered
it
medium
rare,
but
when
it
arrived
it
was
closer
to
medium
and
the
outside
was
so
charred
that’s
all
that
could
be
tasted.
The
potatoes
were
different
from
last
year,
a
measly
pile
of
under
seasoned,
slightly
funky
tasting
mushy
cubes.
The
asparagus
was
limp
and
under
seasoned
as
well.
My
plate
was
Gorgonzola
crusted
beef
medallions.
I
ordered
medium
well,
and
I
was
given
extra
well
done.
My
mashed
potatoes
were
served
with
that
film
on
top
that
you
get
when
you’ve
left
them
under
a
heat
lamp,
and
my
roasted
veggies
were
clearly
for
a
frozen
mix
that
tasted
90%
of
red
peppers.
We
waited
and
waited
for
our
server
to
return
so
we
could
get
them
remade,
yet
she
was
nowhere
to
be
seen.
We
asked
a
different
server,
and
apologizing
profusely,
he
immediately
ran
to
get
our
server
to
fix
the
issue.
She
came
over
and
took
our
plates
back
to
the
kitchen.
Our
table
was
close
enough
to
the
kitchen
that
we
could
see
and
hear
the
chef
complaining
about
our
complaints.
We
finally
get
our
plates
back,
and
everything
is
cooked
properly,
but
his
potatoes
are
still
weird,
and
my
roasted
veggies
are
still
horrible.
Then
it
was
time
for
dessert,
and
we
ordered.
But
it
took
10
minutes
to
get
our
desserts.
We
watched
as
they
were
placed
ready
for
service,
and
then
looked
around
for
our
server,
again
nowhere
to
be
seen.
We
also
had
to
ask
for
our
water
to
be
refilled.
Not
once
through
the
whole
meal,
did
she
refill
the
glasses,
even
though
they
were
less
than
half
full
before
we
even
got
our
entrees.
When
we
finally
got
dessert,
the
tiramisu
was
good,
but
the
Crema
Catalana
wasn’t
what
we
thought
it
would
be.
It
was
custard
soaking
in
brown
sugar
syrup.
Almost
like
an
inverted
flan.
It
was
not
good.
We
found
out
that
they’re
under
new
management,
and
have
gone
corporate,
and
that’s
one
of
the
worst
things
that
can
happen
to
a
restaurant
like
this.
This
was
the
most
disappointing
experience,
and
we
didn’t
let
it
ruin
our
night,
but
we
will
not
be
going
back
next
year.
The
first
photo
you
see
is
last
years
lamb
chops,
and
the
second
is
this
years
lamb
chops.
