We
had
a
blast
and
laughed
the
night
away,
said
the
bartender
who
was
only
here
because
(his
words
not
mine)
he
was
sentenced
to
court
ordered
community
service.
The
Denver
Rock
Bottom
Brewery
was
established
at
the
bottom
of
the
Rock
(Prudential
that
is)
in
1991.
Located
on
the
first
floor
next
to
the
Denver
Prudential
building,
they
have
continued
to
be
the
foundation
of
an
ever
evolving
ownership
including
Gordon
Biersch
(see
my
Taipei
review
of
that
American
Pearl
of
the
Orient).
A
daring,
progressive
menu
of
American
favorites
like
Philly
Cheesesteak,
Nashville
Hot
Chicken,
&
Tater
Tot
Fondue,
as
well
as
break
throughs
like
Habenero
Grilled
Chicken
make
this
place
an
addition
to
your
international
cuisine
bucket
list.
Their
proprietary
Blood
Mary
mix
is
amazing,
with
or
without
alcohol.
They
have
6
sauces
for
wings,
etc,
that
are
some
of
the
best
I
have
tasted:
BBQ,
Thai
Chili,
and
Nashville
Hot,
to
name
a
few.
And,
if
they
don't
brew
it
on
site
they
source
it
locally,
including
the
best
crisp
cider
you
will
have
ever
tasted.
Sure
they
brew
their
own
beer
here.
They
are
the
third
oldest
microbrew
in
Denver,
CO.
That
rubs
shoulders
with
Blue
Paddle
and
Fat
Tire,
brewed
up
the
road.
In
fact,
each
Rock
Bottom,
has
their
own
creative
license
to
when
it
comes
to
to
their
brew.
Each
site's
brewmaster
has
ultimate
say
over
the
recipe,
making
each
site's
beer
somewhat
unique.
The
service,
attention
to
detail,
and
efficiency
set
RBB
apart
from
the
herd.
Their
unique
but
complete
menu,
well
stocked
bar,
and
commitment
to
excellence
will
make
your
culinary
experience
one
of
your
best.
Oh,
and
did
I
mention
that
their
Foggy
Bottom
won
the
2023
GABF
best
Porter.
Always
available
seating,
handicap
accessible,
and
no
reservations.
Eat,
drink,
and
be
merry
here,
now.
Because
tomorrow,
you
may
be
in
Utah.
