Stopped by for some drinks on cinco de mayo around 9pm. Not too busy & seated at bar right away. Bartender was awesome. Drinks great!

Loved the salad and the green dressing. My husband wasn’t a big fan of the bison chili, but I was happy with what I ordered!

Everything was delicious! I waited about an hour before I got my food but other than that I have no complaints about anything. My server was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who was looking for some really good food!

I'd give more if I could. First off, I'm a colorful person, who enjoys the company of other colorful people. That's me in the middle. These three people, were all colorful, in cool and unique ways. The young man was our server, and took the picture for us. *smiles back* I don't live in Denver, but come down a few times a month for work nearby. So, we ended up here, and I gotta say, I liked the whole thing. Cajun Fish Tacos were on point, well-loaded, and tasty. I found it cool, that one could get fries with it, since I'm not a big fan of slaws personally. Fries were great, and I liked the rock-salt grinder.

The only good thing about this place was the beer.!! the food did not taste, I did not like the taste of the food. The salad had lettuce at least 6 or 7 days old. Chicken tenders and calamari could have been passable if they were not deep fried into oblivion. The ribeye could have been great but did not realize in fine print that it had jalapeño salsa…. Why in god’s name would you ever have jalapeño with a ribeye…. Who knows…. But the beer freaking incredible.. really.. go for the beer… excellent. We tried 4 different beers and all were excellent!!!!!

There was nothing spectacular about the meal or the service. To start I had the pretzel rolls. They had a little too much salt which was easy enough to remove but the cheese dip tasted stale. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was bland. It came with pickles and jalapeño slaw. The slaw was also bland and added nothing more than a little crunch. I dipped my sandwich in hot sauce and ketchup to add some flavor. I should’ve just ordered the chicken tenders. The waffle fries were good but nothing more than I’d expect from a side of fries.

Easily the worst meal I've had in a long while. Hair in food. Specks in ice. Sad flaccid fries. Bathrooms trashed and vandalized. This place has no business being as big as it is.

Decent beer but terrible service. Showed up on a Sunday night, visiting Denver. Went to the bar, where there was about 6 people. 1 bartender on. Dude took 15 minutes before he greeted me. Got a flight, which was good. Ordered some fried pickles and loaded waffle fries. About 15 minutes later the pickles and waffle fries showed up, but they were plain—not loaded. Honest mistake, but the bar tender didn’t return to check on me for over 20 minutes. Tried flagging him down, but he never saw me since the bar is long and he seemed to be focused at the other end of the bar… I just ate them, but I was never given a roll up or napkins or anything for the food. The place wasn’t busy, but I’d hate to see the service on a packed night. Redeeming factor: bartender deducted a beer because of the mix up!

Came with a group of 6. Our server was nice and kind! Food was delicious! I got the waffle fries which were good but didn’t get a picture of it but all our dishes came out and met our expectations!

Came in about 8 to eat and our waitress was definitely not happy to serve a late dinner. She was short in conversation and resented any questions about the menu. If we needed a refill, we had to go get her! They advertise hand breaded chicken strips marinated in hot sauce and buttermilk... but, waitress said that they are the same ones on kids menu!!??? What? No use complaining.... Short rib and Brussels Flatbread was not great. Meat and Brussels were cold. The only redeeming item here was the 🍺 selection!!

Beer was great. Ordered a burger cooked medium it came out well done, several of my fries came out green. So if you plan on going get a beer not any food. Definitely will not be recommended this place

Ordered the ginger spicy peanut salad added salmon paid $24 after tip. The salad was clearly old. As seen in pictures. The green leaves were wilted and actually turning black at the edges and the lettuce was mostly yellow. Not impressed at all. I actually was headed to Tokyo Joes but all stores are closed so i walked to rock bottom instead. Disappointed should have crossed the street and went to starbucks which were my original plans.

The pretzel sticks appetizer was really good. Our meal was cold….cold waffle fries… not good. The brisket sandwich was really cold and dry. We were provided a little container of BBQ sauce, helped a little. The bread was cold and hard. The margarita pizza crust not fully cooked was cold and top had a lot seasoning. The service was slow, our bill was incorrect and had to be corrected. Because service was slow and we had somewhere to be, so we ate some of the food and left. Thank goodness the pretzel sticks and queso were really good.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We sat outside and there was no wait. The food here was good. I got the umami burger, which is definitely different from anything I've seen before, but it was delicious. And waffle fries are always a plus. I also really enjoyed the hazy IPA. Prices are about average but food and drinks are good.

Regular bar. I enjoyed the beer and service. The food was okay nothing special. I did enjoy the green beans and the calamari a good bit! I had a salad because I was not super hungry after the menu choices. I would come back for the beer and the atmosphere and I’ll probably try the wings next time.

The food was great, and I'd rather give 5 stars for service than the 4.9 it's argued to be. The sides weren't what we ordered on a couple dishes, but it wasn't worth sending the food back. We were a huge party with just the one waiter, so it's totally understandable.

Nice, spacious interior and lovely atmosphere! The food was good and filling, the garlic sauce very tasty, although I wish the bean sprouts had been less salty. I appreciate the vast variety of options & a gluten free menu for those who need it!

I ordered the ribs but they are enough for two people. So I had to take them to go… I just ate them and they taste amazing! Thank you for the good service. Beautiful place too!

We had a blast and laughed the night away, said the bartender who was only here because (his words not mine) he was sentenced to court ordered community service. The Denver Rock Bottom Brewery was established at the bottom of the Rock (Prudential that is) in 1991. Located on the first floor next to the Denver Prudential building, they have continued to be the foundation of an ever evolving ownership including Gordon Biersch (see my Taipei review of that American Pearl of the Orient). A daring, progressive menu of American favorites like Philly Cheesesteak, Nashville Hot Chicken, & Tater Tot Fondue, as well as break throughs like Habenero Grilled Chicken make this place an addition to your international cuisine bucket list. Their proprietary Blood Mary mix is amazing, with or without alcohol. They have 6 sauces for wings, etc, that are some of the best I have tasted: BBQ, Thai Chili, and Nashville Hot, to name a few. And, if they don't brew it on site they source it locally, including the best crisp cider you will have ever tasted. Sure they brew their own beer here. They are the third oldest microbrew in Denver, CO. That rubs shoulders with Blue Paddle and Fat Tire, brewed up the road. In fact, each Rock Bottom, has their own creative license to when it comes to to their brew. Each site's brewmaster has ultimate say over the recipe, making each site's beer somewhat unique. The service, attention to detail, and efficiency set RBB apart from the herd. Their unique but complete menu, well stocked bar, and commitment to excellence will make your culinary experience one of your best. Oh, and did I mention that their Foggy Bottom won the 2023 GABF best Porter. Always available seating, handicap accessible, and no reservations. Eat, drink, and be merry here, now. Because tomorrow, you may be in Utah.

A restaurant and beer brewery.. Great ambiance, great beers and great food. A bar with over 30 draft beers made by their own and it will better to get prepared for "world class" beers. What an experience.

This is a fun place to meet with friends! It can get crowded later in the evening though. We shared a Steak Salad and the Cajun Chicken plate and both were very good. Steak was tender and spices were excellent. We also ordered a piece of Carrot Cake which was large enough for 4 people, but we took half of it home. I felt that the prices were reasonable around $15 to $22. I would definitely go there again, especially in the warmer weather when we can sit outside on the patio.
