Yeah this is the real deal. I tumbled onto this place by accident when I first moved to Denver because I had a hankering for apple strudels, and I’ve been a regular ever since. This was before I knew what Diner Driveins and Dives was; so about 2 years ago. #5 (pastrami and chopped liver) with potato salad and a cup of matzo ball soup is my go-to. It’s like three meals worth so there’s no need to eat for the rest of the day after one of these. The pastrami is absolutely tender and juicy, and the chopped liver is creamy, earthy and continues to be one of the most underrated items. The triple D sampler is also quite good, interesting, and filling. On the bakes, making apple strudels at home is a strenuous process so I rely on these guys for my cravings. They do a pretty good job. Really glad this exists in Denver.

Nice little deli / restaurant. Well known as seen on food network. The owner Jared made us feel Ed welcome. The food is the best food I’ve had a long while, both plates and sandwiches are so so good. The best thing on the menu is the Beef bacon. Bagels are the best in Colorado. Can’t wait to come back.

We love this local gem! The sandwiches are piled a mile high with meat filling. Their pickles? Amazing. The staff is friendly but also not to be messed with. They are on the BALL when it comes to clearing tables, filling water glasses, or even replacing light bulbs in their fixtures. A speck of dust falls on their shelf? Dusted! Bagels are delicious and they never skimp on the cream cheese (my husband complains they add too much, actually...is there such a thing?) Anyway, we are fans and their fried apple cinnamon knish we had this week was SUBLIME. So proud to call this amazing Jewsih deli a Denver gem. 10/10

This is one of my favorite Jewish Delis in the US. The food and service are fantastic and I try to stop in every time I come through Denver. The sandwiches are well balanced and the meats and toppings tasty. I am docking a star because the prices are pretty nuts. I paid around $130 for soup and sandwiches four people and I think that's too much. I also was frustrated to have to take our food to a park because the business hours on their web page were not complete and did not let us know that the dining room closed very early.

Another Tripple D amazing recommendation. After reading reviews of the other guy my friend and i came here and had the best experience you could ask for. The eggs bagel diet is a home run! Great service. I will be back!

A bit hard to find, but TOTALLY worth the effort. Gigantic sandwiches and delicious pastries. Luckily I don't live in Denver, else I would weigh 500 pounds. 😊

Great deli sandwiches, bagels and matzo ball soup. We were dine in and loves to picking up bags of bagels, eggs salad, lix cream cheese home to continue our meal feast. Family friendly place and friendly stuff.

Here is my annual review of this place. This is my first time coming in not completely hungover and I am so happy to experience this place and food in all head spaces. When my matzo ball soup came out I bursted into tears. I am so happy to have enjoyed the matzo ball soup as my happy tears fall on the table. This time I was blessed to be in the presence of the owners. I did not say hi as they are way too high above me and I would quake in their presence. Our server Charlie the bagel man was an angel and named off all of their bagel flavors just to pick a plain bagel. Charlie was charging such funny jokes and making the end of my trip a dream. I live for this place and I am interested in booking them for my birthday and wedding and funeral.

The place was great the first time we ate here and was great this time too! Large filling portions that came out much quicker than I thought it would with how busy they always are. Service was also much more attentive than you would expect with the amount of tables they work at one time . Truly enjoy eating here. Hope you have the chance to eat at this classic deli.

Came in, ordered, and had food extremely quickly after ordering. Food was delicious and staff was extremely quick to do things like fill coffees, take orders, and restock waters. Atmosphere was very cozy and kind, it made me feel like I was safe in a happy little diner. Lovely place overall. Food was delicious. Beef bacon was a nice twist, french toast was soft, squishy, and yummy, and eggs were fluffy and potatoes soft as well. Absolutely amazing breakfast bakery and takeout. Bagels delicious and challah bread delicious as well. Absolutely fantastic, will absolutely come back soon.

I love the bagel deli. The bagels are always fresh with that bite of crunch and chewy. Variety of flavors and cream cheese options. It’s a classic Jewish deli with some delicious snacks you can’t get many places like rugelach, babka and others. There is a restaurant side that is almost always packed, but you can order a lot of things at the counter side too. Highly recommend.

First time visiting, and we will definitely be back. Eric was our server, and he did a great job. Gluten free options here, and they understand how to prevent cross contamination as best they can. New favorite place. Expect it to be busy.

Whenever I’m in the mood for a Reuben and some good Matzo ball soup this is my go to spot. My friends recommended this place and it’s been amazing ever time! Friendly staff, plenty of seating and delicious Sandwiches and pastries! This place made Guy Fieri’s diner, drive in and dives ( Season 11, Episode 11 in May 2011)

Very busy fast paced place, wonderful food! Food portions are large. My 8 yr old thinks they make the best chicken noodle soup in town!

Ok so I have mixed emotions about this place. Let's start with the good first... the pastrami on marbel rye bread was really good!! Could have maybe been a little hotter but the flavor was spot on and the pastrami is very thinly sliced which I prefer over a thicker New York style pastrami. We also had the stuffed french toast and the cinnamon roll. Both of those were also delicious! Packed with flavor and the cinnamon roll was nice and hot. Could have been a little bit bigger for the almost $5 price but definitely good! Now the bad... the bagles, at a deli that specializes in them, were honestly terrible. I dont say that lightly, but they had seriously no flavor at all and they were to dense. My girlfriend had the cinnamon raisin bagel and I had the everything bagel. The cinnamon rasin had no taste of cinnamon at all. My everything bagel just had no flavor, and that's hard to do with a bagel that has "everything" on it, man it needed salt so bad! Other than the bagels the food was good I thought. I will be going back to try other things and also to get that pastrami again. Will just have to steer clear of the bagles.

Just stopped in here to fuel up before a hike. We ordered the Triple D plate, a corned beef & egg salad, a Reuben, and a bagel with lox & cream cheese. Everything was excellent and service was great. Our waitress even sent us off with some ice to keep our leftovers cool. Makes me wish I lived in Denver so I could visit more than once!

I got a bagel with egg, cheese and beef sausage. It was great until I found the hair in it and had to throw it out. This is my first time here after hearing so many good things and this ruined it for me. I want to go back but I'm scared I'll just end up finding hair in my food again.

I really like this place. My favorite is the pastrami sandwich. However, everything I have had at this restaurant is very tasty. Everyone is very nice and friendly and the desserts are just fantastic. Before you leave don’t forget to get some bagels and napoleons.

This is great! Had matzo ball soup and the pastrami Reuben on an everything bagel. Perfect! Feel good food at great prices. Wait wasn't that bad for two at peak time, maybe 20 minutes? Service was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Hey, that was pretty good. Got the Pastrami and Lean Corned Beef on Pumpernickel. Wow. The bread was fantastic. The potato salad was exceptional. Got a Matzo soup to start, and I instantly felt the cold leaving my body!! If you haven't tried this place yet, get on it!

Best Ruben sandwich I've had, enough portion wise to feed two. Every menu item was delicious. Great service as well. Great local spot!

In the past I enjoyed the food here, both dine in and take out. This time the female order taker was horrible, not sure what her problem was, my color or the fact that I had a mask on. She was much nicer and professional with the person in front of me. She was offensive and rude when I stepped up to place my order. I was ordering to go but her service to me and my friend was so bad we left without following through with the order. I will tell all my friends about this experience, I was the one who told many of them they should come in and try the food. Now I need to find another deli to spend my money on.

Righteous place. One of the best in the world. No hyperbole, just come and check it out. Great service, amazing food and great portion size. You won’t leave hungry. Charlie was awesome, thank you.

This place would be an east coast gem if it was existed in Pittsburgh. The bagels, the breakfast, latkes. Everything is amazing. We got the blintzes and they were sooo good. They have a whole deli counter and freezers full of their food. Get some to go!

  • 5/5 Kevin F. 1 year ago on Google
Old-school gem with no nonsense service and extensive menu of east coast style deli favorites, all humming along in the corner of a generic strip mall.

Wonderful Jewish deli. Grab a marble rye for the ema, some pickles, and some rugelach (nicely baked, not dry but not too moist or sweet). Enjoyed my time there. Prices seemed a bit high, especially for sandwiches, but that seems to be the thing these days. The cream cheese prices were the most surprising, wish that could lower a bit to make it worthwhile (especially lox cream cheese not lasting long anyways). I didn’t get a chance to eat in the restaurant, that’s on my to do list. The staff was very friendly and the overall establishment gave off a nice vibe. Surprised I didn’t seem any matzoh ball soup to go. Looking forward to my next visit!
