Wonderful spacious seating plus a outdoor patio beyond compare. I enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits, the Pan Seared Chicken Breast and the Strawberry Heaven. All 3 menu items had a unique blend of flavors that I had never experienced before . The staff provided excellent customer service too

Overall good restaurant. Nice bright ambiance. The food was good - not overly large portions, but tasty. I had the avacado toast which was light and with good flavor. I added the house hit sauce which livened it up. I would put this in the above average price range with the food on the lower level of that price range. Would I recommend it? Yes. Are there better priced places for brunch? Yes.

Cute little place off the main road near downtown. We had the club sandwich and street corn and they were both delicious! We also tried the strawberry lemongrass soda and orange cream soda, yummy! Waitress was nice, atmosphere is nice, Reasonable prices.

Best burger I’ve ever eaten! The flavors were incredible! You could even taste the tomato! The Cesar dressing was delicious and the cookie came out warm and gooey and full of chocolate chips! You can tell they use high quality ingredients, and everything is prepared fresh. The cocktail was also great! Not too sweet, and just strong enough. Good service too!

Brightmarten is a relatively new restaurant in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood. They've been open a little over a year. The exact location was the home to 730 South for several years. The ambiance is bright and airy. The decor is a combination of twenty first century modern and mid-century modern. The clientele was a mix of families and young professionals. A group of us met for Sunday brunch a couple of weeks ago. Three of us ordered off of the menu. The avocado toast was good. The short rib and potato chimichanga that I ordered was really tasty! The tortilla was deep-fried to perfection, and the short ribs were fall-off-the-bone moist. Great textures! Rex ordered the Breakfast Sammy which was one of my top choices, but it was rather disappointing, he said. The choice of bread and lack of any sauce made it almost too dry to eat. Edwin ordered the special du jour: Brisket and Gravy! Beef brisket over a fluffy biscuit topped with red-eye gravy and a fried egg. It was delicious, he said...I also agreed after having a bite. The service was great, and the whole staff seemed very friendly. We were there when the USA Women's Soccer Team declared victory! Everyone clamored around the TV in the bar area. We received a marketing flier for a Tuesday night special they offer. It is basically a full "beer-in-the-butt" chicken, two cans of beer, and two side dishes to split with another person all for $30 every Tuesday night from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. I definitely want to check that out! Anybody else game?

Already visited this place twice and can't say enough great things. The food is awesome! The poblano nachos and home made cheese sauce is not only mine but also my kids favorite. In addition, they have a great kids menu. They hand butcher all the meat and the ice cream is home made. Choice beer selection as well. I really really like the scallop poppers as well, never had anything like that before.

The food, service and ambiance are all engaging and delightful. You can tell the level of care that goes into their work. The chicken sandwich was one of the least expensive items on the menu, but don't let that fool you. It's got a wonderful blend of flavors, with everything made in house. A friend got the cornbread (pictured) and everyone went Gaga over it. Parking is difficult given the area, but the restaurant makes it worth it.

Really want it to be good but it's inconsistent. Happy hour is a good deal but the tastes are just off. Great wine choices but service lacks. WiFi is good, parking is tough. Mussels we're very good. Ceviche was inedible for me. Sangria seems to be missing something as well... Perhaps Brandy? White sangria was a no go... Hoping for the best cuz it's really cute, but for the price I need more.

Such a cute place with delicious food! My husband got the burger and I got the fish sandwich and both were cooked perfectly and super flavorful. Our waiter was so sweet & friendly. Definitely recommend if you're in the area :)

Loved this little restaurant that's tucked away off University across the street from Bonnie Brae in the Belcaro neighborhood. Our server was fantastic. Extremely attentive and didn't hesitate to be detailed when asked for explanations. My steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and I couldn't get enough of the potatoes either. My lady got the chicken and it was season absolutely perfectly. Highly recommend.
