Fish and chips tasted great but for $18 after tax and pre tip I am severely disappointed in the fish serving size. 3 fish fingers that added up to smaller than a single fish fillet

First time I ever went to a bar. One of the customers saw I was confused on what to do, and told me how bars basically work. Great man, seemed like a local. The service was great, and the food was even better. I highly recommend the chicken masala

I have been wanting to try try this place after seeing they offered an English breakfast. Nice place with about a dozen bar seats and several booths. A number of TVs for watching the games. When the waitress gave me the menu was was disappointed to see it wasn’t the brunch menu from their website. I asked about it and learned the they don’t usually due the brunch if there isn’t a rugby game being aired and I was there on one of those days. But as I wondering if I would leave, she said that they do offer the English breakfast though! Well that I was there for! I asked for over easy or sunny side up eggs and waited. The plate arrived and I had a mixed opinion after eating. The eggs were overcooked as were the thin slices of tomato. Though not listed, they did include mushrooms even if there were one a few slices of them. The rashers were ok while the bangers were plump and tasty. The toast and beans were ok. In the end, not bad for the reasonable price.

I'm going to be honest, I'm a fan of British pub food but I usually do not expect much from places that are more pub than a restaurant instead of restaurant acting like a British pub with their decor if you know what I mean? But damn, the food was great! Maybe because I didn't expect much, but I was very impressed and pleased with the food I had here. Interestingly, there's also a section for Pakistani food on the menu which was welcomed and something we tried was pretty good. Also the gentleman bartender/wait staff who was helping us was so polite, I found it to be incredibly refreshing. I haven't however tried the British national dish, the chicken Tikka masala here, so I'll have to go back to try to see. But I'll tell you that their bangers and mash was fantastic. One comment, I found the place to be a little too dark for my liking. And try their Punjabi wings!

My friend and I arrived early for brunch at Triangle next door and decided to pop by for a little pregame. Was really impressed by how cleanly the venue was and how friendly the staff is. Drinks were very affordable. We decided to have our drinks outside when suddenly a man off the street started harassing my friend and I. The bartender with the longer hair came right out to assist without anyone even saying anything. The man of course left and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time. Very impressed with the attentive and caring staff.

Absolutely deserving of 5 stars. Finesse service during busy hours with a 3 person crew. Had zero issues getting prompt and quality service while eating the best poutine I've had outside of Canada. More than fair prices when compared to any similar establishment in the area or throughout Denver. Zero complaints and will definitely return in the future.

this is a British soccer bar, definitely the right ambiance but they had 1 guy in the kitchen and 1 guy on the bar during a chelsea/Manchester game. this is your bread and butter and you have to plan better, I waited for an hour for the food to come out and I just had to cancel the order because it took too long. get it together

Such a cool spot in Denver. Got to have some of the best comfort English food. The shepherd's pie was off the chain. Sam my bartender was absolutely fabulous. One of the friendliest and kindest people I have met in a while. Everybody that I met was so kind. It was soccer time and the energy in the air was electric. Thank you guys for the great food. Great beer. I had the peach wheat from a local brew and it was mind-blowing. Thanks guys and I can't wait to visit again soon!

Been here many times over the years. Great bartender and soccer on the TV. Good Indian food, but no English beers on tap, although 20oz glasses are used. Interesting clientele due in part to the location.

Great atmosphere for soccer matches. As an out of town visitor, I would say this is one of the better soccer bars I have been to. Good prices on pints, friendly staff, and great cheering fans.

The updated menu has some cool options, but the changes to the shepherd's pie are extremely unnecessary. The original recipe was much better, and there is absolutely no need to add cheese. Please bring the original back!

Location is great , right near everything downtown , or any sports events you might want . The people that work here and go here all have an amazing vibe . Great little spot to grab a drink , especially a pickle shot !

After living in the UK for several years walking into the Bulldog was just like being there! The fish and chips were fantastic. And Kevin the bartender (who was taking care of the entire bar) was so accommodating! Anytime we're back in the area we'll stop by.

This is one of the hidden gems in Denver. I can honestly say some of the best customer service I've received in Colorado. I got the Cajun dry rub wings and my husband got the English breakfast that rivals those in England and Ireland. We can't wait to go back to see if the fish and chips are really as good as our server mentioned.

Classic British pub. Great place to watch a soccer game, but get there early early if you want a seat. HUGE tap beer selection with lots of great options you won't find most places. Food alone, I'd give 4 stars - it's fine but not something you're going to go there specifically for. Except the curry and fries - their curry is delicious!

The atmosphere at The British Bulldog is just as fantastic as the food. It's such a cool hidden spot in Denver! It offers some of the best comfort English food in town. The shepherd's pie was off the charts delicious! The bartender was an absolute delight and one of the friendliest and kindest people I've met in a while. The patrons were equally welcoming. Thanks to everyone at The Bulldog for the great food, great beer, and warm hospitality. Looking forward to my next visit!

Happened upon this cool little place for a Bronco game after giving up our tickets for a granddaughter. The ambiance is outstanding, and the food (we had fish & chips and bangers & mash) was delicious - not to mention the BEST Guiness this side of the pond. Can't wait to return.

My favorite place in Denver to catch soccer games. Everything I've ordered off the menu so far has been amazing and the bartenders are very fast even with a packed house with a game on! Highly recommend this place especially on weekends for lunch.

Solid neighborhood bar. If you are a soccer fan, it's a go to for sure! Always will have the games you want on. Good food and good service. Can get a little tight on space at times but always enjoy it.

Great place to watch all Premier League matches early. Was serving great, authentic beers, cocktails and food all morning. Atmosphere is extremely lively, full of fans (lots of chanting!), and an all around great time. It gets busy during the matches so don't always expect a table right away, or lightning fast service. Still an amazing time, definitely recommend

Fish and Chips were great and the Sheppards Pie was good. Would definitely recommend if you've got that craving for a "British Pub" style food and drink.

Been coming here a long time. LPC has changed lots of things for the better. 5 stars. Heard a rumor the awning is coming down. If so, 1 star. I used to come here when there was no awning. It SUCKED out front. Don't steal our rain/snow/sun blocker. Defeats the purpose of the patio. Pic from 2006 attached pre awning. Don't go back. Survey your patrons. We all want the awning.

Had the Ploughman's Breakfast with a Fullers. Spot on. Very attentive service, we really appreciated Drew! Thank you! It's got energy and the games are all on, and that's what we came for.

New favorite spot. Small space, but very atmospheric and cozy. Jeremy the doorman is a charmer, and Dave, our bartender is super friendly. We love the fish & chips, as well as the Pakistani dishes. Great menu, great beers, great vibes, great people; looking forward for my next fix :)

Open late just a few things on the menu, so the online menu is old. But the French dip sandwich was good and the tattor tots were fabulous ( a must have). The atmosphere as you walk in was comfortable for the location it's in, and staff very friendly.

I had a few pints and chips (fries) while watching Leeds v Liverpool with the Leeds United Colorado crew. The fries were outstanding! Great pints too! The atmosphere was absolutely amazing!! The British Bulldog is hard to beat for English Premier League games. I just wish it was more family friendly in terms of room, but it's a proper English pub!

my only complaints are the NOISE level makes it hard to talk to anyone. and the Shephards pie has too much mashed potatoes and needs more meat in it. Our server was good. the food otherwise was good.

If you're in the area as a fan of an EPL team wanting to see them play, then this place serves that purpose. They have multiple TVs, but of course with the Peacock games being streamed - you will tend to suffer the buffering/drops in service during bulk games. A mix of fans when I was there, which was nice to see.

  • 5/5 Tevye R. 1 year ago on Google
A very cool place and a great place to watch premier league games or England games. Check their Instagram or Facebook to know if they are opening early for the games (most likely a yes). For big games you have to get their early or you will be stuck deep in a crowd or squinting in the sun outside. It is hard to find a better atmosphere in Colorado, quite possibly in the US. Authentic pub feel and their English breakfast is delicious!
