Nearly perfect experience with welcoming, competent staff. The only tiny demerit was a very loud hipster table nearby who left their inside voices at home. i had not been to Cafe Brazil in more than a decade. They execute their menu with precision and refinement. This restaurant is a true survivor, a literal artifact of pre metastatic gentrification in North Denver. There are scant such businesses left, and they merit recognition as true gems.

I have been waiting to go to this spot and finally got to enjoy this gem. From the moment we stepped in the service was 5 stars. Very attentive and courteous staff and owner. They had great suggestions and good drinks. I really enjoyed the food as well. The only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars on food is because the collard greens were super salty. Everything else had amazing flavors! I will definitely go back for their coconut dishes. My husband had their special of the night which was the lamb!

I had a good experience for dinner on a Saturday night. Ambiance is colorful and fun. The cocktail I selected was a Caipirinha, which was sweet but not overly so. (I had two). I had both the appetizer special and dinner special. Appetizer was sweet potato stuffed with something in four little balls. Really good. The entree was grouper with shrimp, and I ate every bite. Overall favorable and flavorable experience.

The food was good, but I would have loved to see more authentic brasilian staple food on the menu.

I love this place... Whenever I am in Denver, this is a go to spot for me. Not to be confused with a Brazilian Steakhouse, this is casual Brazilian food that is just delicious. Being Indian, one surprising aspects of the food was the use of hot spices (like cayenne). Even my children enjoyed the food. Can't wait to go back.

Our party of four had a wonderful experience. The service and cocktails were wonderful and the variety of dishes were perfectly spiced and prepared. Denver is fortunate to have such a memorable ethnic restaurant. Highly recommended.

To start, we had calamari plus the sweet potatoes and gouda croquettes (croquettes were special off the menu), both amazing. As entrees, we had the Bahiana salad and the Moqueca de Peixe. The salad was fresh and well dressed, and the crab was tender and flavorful, but the shrimp were the star of this dish. The moqueca's stew style dish over rice was absolutely delicious. You need to try this!

In my running for best restaurant in Denver. Went years back and was incredibly impressed, and decided to go again right before Christmas now that I live closer. Drinks are fantastic and a good price. I don't think the menu descriptions do the dishes justice, although it's hard to convey the complex flavors in them. Plantain with cheese appetizer was an interesting combo, and the calamari was really great. I got the seafood copacabana and it was awesome -- the shrimp and scallops were fantastic as well as the broth. It had a lot of largely cut raw bell peppers (and the plating was very 80's) which felt a little like an afterthought, but did go together with the other components well. My boyfriend got the la juliana which is fantastic all around, the orange sauce is tangy and not too sweet and the plantains (these are bananas) are especially great. Some of the best flavors in Denver.

The sword fish was so tender with a pineapple sauce. The sirloin was perfect with a portobello sauce! I truly look forward to indulging with the wine list next time. Thank you!!

I have wanted to go here for a while and am so glad that I finally did. The atmosphere is so lovely and everyone was very friendly. The flavor of every dish we had was mind blowingly delicious. Do yourself a favor and don’t wait to eat here.

Very friendly staff, very tasty food. Pricey, so be prepared and always ask how much is their special cost before ordering it.

Great food. For apps, try the fried manchego cheese. For my entree I had the special which was grouper, diver scallops, prawns, and mussels in a coconut curry. Incredible. Also, this place has some of the best service I’ve ever had in Denver. Fast, nice, attentive. I will be back.

Been going here for 20 years even at their first location and the food has never wavered from being the best. Fresh ingredients, tasty and just the right amount of spices. Tony is hands down the very best chef in Colorado. The drinks are served cold flavorful and the bar is a fun place to meet friends. We drive over an hour one way and it’s worth it. Great ambience, great service, you have to try it. You’ll be a forever customer.

The La Juliana was the best dish I have tried along with the plantains, and the peppers. I saw guy fieri eating this on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and saw him eating this. And I though I have to try this. I like the collards they weren't to overpowering and the pulled pork was sweet and spicy. The best part was the farofa which is a toasted yucca flour with some butter and shallots. It gives it a nice crunchy texture. It is rich and unspeakably good.

We were really looking forward to a birthday dinner. I ordered the chefs special ribeye, medium rare, and it came out well done, twice. Super bummed. I watched my wife eat, drank some expensive cocktails, and drove home for dinner. :/

A hidden gem! Great service... unique delicious food...fun ambiance. We had the special appetizer and entree at the recommendation of our server and were not disappointed! Even the least expensive wine he recommended to accompany the meal was perfect. We split the meal and very glad we did. Not huge portions but very filling!

This is my second visit to Cafe Brazil. I had the traditional feijoada (sp) the last time I was here and it was amazing. This time I opted for the swordfish and gazpacho special. Service was friendly and answered all of our questions. We started with the grilled manchego, which was phenomenal! All of our entrees came with a starter bowl of their classic black bean soup. It was delicious, as always. My entree came with a beautifully seared scallop and two large prawns spiralled atop a swordfish filet. It was quite tasty, with the scallop being the highlight. I would have appreciated a side of rice or veggies with the swordfish, but otherwise it was an excellent meal. A little pricey, but worth it.

Quite possibly my favorite restaurant in Denver. Incredible food, charming atmosphere, and a friendly and inviting staff that makes you feel like family. Their drinks and food are both so good. The juices are fresh, and I'm in love with the mattambre! It is so delicious! yummm.

Cafe Brazil is my favorite restaurant in Denver. Their food is consistently delicious over the many years and business locations. Their service is excellent and makes every visit special. Their takeout was hot and delicious during COVID and we love to give their gift cards to family and friends. Don’t miss their Moqueca, it is amazing. THANK YOU Cafe Brazil!

This is a wonderful restaurant. It actually became a birthday tradition. As well as a destination several times during the rest of the year. Amazing food, amazing service and friendly staff. It's NOT a Brazilian Steak house. It's Brazilian food that is a taste bud treat.

Excellent service, food and drinks. I really liked our main server, she was a delight, but all of the staff were warm and hospitable. The only minor complaint I would make is that our fried manchego was a little cold. Other than that it's all thumbs up from me.

Food was very good! We went on Valentine's Day weekend and they had a special spicy cocktail with heart ice.
