Great food, and great service! Even with the whole building full, we got seated quick and got our food within ten minutes. One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. Their green chili is absolutely delicious. And the server was very friendly and efficient! So happy we have this place a shot! We will definitely be back.

Great little brunch place. Food was all good, wasn't super memorable though. Chicken and waffles had pretty clearly frozen chicken tenders and a flat soft waffle, I don't think I'd get it again. The omelets were all really tasty though. It's a fun location as well.

Went to Sam's 3 on Denver Broncos game day. It was as slammed as it gets. I still only waited around 10 minutes since the open seating turned over fast. The regular seating waits over 2 hours. The Cheese Enchiladas and pint of Red Chili was excellent and still had Chili left over to eat at my hotel room. It was an amazing experience given the crowded conditions, which is because it is an amazing restaurant everyone wants to go to when downtown. It is very popular for good reason. It has amazing food for reasonable prices. Waitress for my section has worked here forever and was fast and efficient, making everyone's experience here wonderful.

A Denver staple not to be missed! Always great food, big portions, and amazing staff. This place gets busy, especially on the weekends, so plan on a wait. The wait will be worth it, and the staff works hard to keep things moving quickly, so your wait is never that long, in all the years we've been going the longest we waited was maybe 20-30 minutes. While everyone has their favorites, I'd recommend the breakfast burritos, and when in Colorado smother, everything is spicy green chili. I'd also like to thank our server, Mikey, from our last visit. He was efficient, helpful, and had an amazing attitude! In a world where it's even hard to find servers to work, Sam's No. 3 got lucky enough to have a Mikey.

Spent a few days in Denver and was told to check this place out. Went two times and both times the food and service were outstanding! I first visited on a Sunday around noon. Didn’t know how busy it’d get and waited up to an hour for a table; no big deal. Got the chicken and waffles and this frozen mocha drink and both were delicious. My server was really attentive and nice being their rush hour. I went back Tuesday early morning and it was a lot less hectic. My server was this kind curly haired woman who took care of me as soon as I walked in. Got a breakfast sandwich and a mixed drink and wasn’t disappointed. Especially since the drink was a double shot LOL. Can’t wait to go back when I’m in Denver again

Love this place. The portions are huge but you will always clear your plate because the food is that good. Usually crowded for breakfast so come early. The kitchen sink burrito is awesome and their gyros are good also. Highly recommended place to fill your belly!

Greeted right as I walked in and was seated. I ordered a coffee and then ordered the Denver Omelette, I mean it has to be a must in Denver right? It came with homestyle potatoes and biscuits on the side. I also got a side of green chili sauce on the side (extra $3). The omelette was massive (4 eggs) and I could only eat half of everything. Overall great service as well as good food and portions.

Had breakfast here with friends. This place is very busy had a large number of people waiting. It took about 45 minutes to be seated. During that time, we walked the area of downtown. After we were seated, the server was very helpful and nice. I can’t remember what everyone got, but all of our food was good.

The food is amazing here! Huge portions and unique options are on the menu. I like that they serve alcohol and breakfast! Very interesting place. Our server was very friendly and helpful, she helped us choose our food as this was our first time here. I highly recommend the pork green chili!

Found this place after doing a quick Google search based on where I was. Forgot all about it being on Triple D??? Definitely glad I went and ate. Had a variety of items and each was good in its own way. Definitely would go back! Had the homemade corned beef hash and grits with biscuits and a Canadian bacon French toast sandwich. A baileys infused hot cocoa drink helped wash it all down.

Great food, fast and friendly service. This historic place is popular for a reason. Food comes in generous portion sizes. The milkshake is gigantic with four scoops of ice cream. We got there a bit early so we didn't have to wait. I'd definitely visit again for brunch when I'm in town.

Absolutely massive burrito here. The food was excellent and the spicy pork chili was fantastic. They had some excellent addition hot sauces but they were not needed! The trailblazer hash with the chili was tasty as well. The service inside was spectacular!

A great spot to check out for classic diner food! The menu is HUGE of course. I was there for a lunchtime burger with mac and cheese on the side, great meal. Definitely want to come back for breakfast food. Even when the place was packed full, our food came out within 15 minutes, and we had great service.

Tried Sam’s No. 3 Downtown today because I’ve heard so many people talk positively about it. I order the Popeye Omelette, which comes with spinach, bacon, cheddar cheese, made with 4 eggs, and a dollop of sour cream to boot! Overall, the taste of the food was solid. My biggest complaint, which I noticed other tables around me also complain about, was that the ceiling fans were on way to high/fast. The blazing fans cooled down my food, especially my pancakes before I could even get to them. Beyond that, my experience was pretty positive and my waiter, whose name I didn’t catch, was awesome and attentive. Overall, I rate them 4/5 stars because of the cooled down food, but I’d definitely come back to eat here!

My friends and I Showed up at noon on a Monday, the wait was only 15 minutes. The service was so quick and the Hostess and Server were rather nice. The server made us feel like we were back in New York with her quick wit. The plates were huge and more than enough. I ordered the Kitchen Sink Stacker with the green chillies it was so good I highly recommend, I also got a side order of mini pancakes which were also very good. It seemed you can’t go wrong with the other items on the menu because my friends had no complaints. I’ve never seen sausage Pattie’s that large served in a diner before. Overall we were glad we stopped by and would definitely stop again next time we are in town.

Great little diner that was just around the corner from our hotel. It reminded us a lot of our local diner, City Cafe. The food was good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it didn't have any flavor without adding the green chili or salsa. The sourdough bread was really good! Add real butter and orange marmalade, wow! I could have made a meal out of just that!! We would definitely go back. The breakfast banana split looked amazing so I'd love to try it!

Sam’s No 3 has a large menu to select from. Their mexican food and breakfast menu are awesome. They have variety of drinks to quench your thirst too. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Finding a parking nearby could be difficult. Highly recommend this place

We loved our meal. It was slammed there at around 10am. The wait was only 10 minutes or so. Service was also great and food came out quick.

Cool spot for diner fare right in downtown Denver. Proximity to the Performing Arts Center makes this a great spot to grab a casual meal before a show. Food was good, not great. Typical diner fare done pretty well. Service was outstanding, friendly, and crazy quick. Definitely a tad pricey for this type of food but not awful. Expect to spend about $30 per person.

Sam's No. 3 was a fun time with decent food and a friendly staff! I enjoyed my time dining at this establishment. I think it's so important to know that while the prices may be the tiniest bit high, it's so worth it. You get a ton of good food. I ordered the gyro and it was on point! There fries are so yummy as well! I see why this place was featured in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Try it out!

Sam’s #3 was right next to our hotel and the first place recommended to us for breakfast when we checked in. Featured on Triple-D, it’s menu is about 15 pages long! You can order breakfast, lunch, or dinner any time of the day. It was hooping on a Thursday morning when we went and seemed busy every other time we walked by. I had biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage. The biscuits were good, the gravy was a little thin on the sausage in it, but it was tasty. My wife had an open face Turkey and gravy sandwich that looked great - she ate it all!! We might go again before we leave Denver. Definitely worth a try.

So I was visiting Denver for the first time and read the reviews for this place and they didn't lie. My family ate here and everyone loved it, even my picky daughter. I had the Veggie Stacker and it was fantastic. I was astonished by the amount of food that was provided. The Home Fried Potatoes were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The veggie green chili was amazing. It was the perfect topping. My waitress was very friendly and made our visit very pleasant. If I come to Denver again, I will be sure to stop here again.

I had an amazing experience at Sam's No. 3 in downtown Denver. Their Benedict plate for breakfast was not only delicious but also incredibly generous in portion size. The perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise sauce, and choice of toppings made for a delightful morning meal. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Sam's No. 3 for a hearty and satisfying breakfast in Denver!

The menu is HUGE, but I don’t view that as a bad thing. They’ve got something for you regardless of what you’re craving. I had the fried cheese curds and a chicken fajita burrito, which came topped with their Green Chili sauce. Both were really tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful! We didn’t have to wait too long either considering it was in the middle of the dinner rush. Definitely worth a try if you’re traveling from out of town or just haven’t been before.

So glad I was told about this diner. Realize now I've seem the episode of DDD that features it and yes it is solidly worth stopping in and having a meal. It was mind blowing to have to choose from the amazing array of offerings on the menu. Looking around at the tables around me didn't help... it ALL looked amazing. I went with the The Kitchen Sink burrito and I chose wisely. So good. The service was perfect as well. This is definitely one I recommend when in Denver. (and yes, I did end up eating that entire burrito... much to my doc's chagrin)

Great experience, huge meal! This is a diner to go to. Mushroom Swiss burger lacked some seasoning and was pretty pink when asked for well done. Fries were seasoned well and crispy. They have a full bar which is different than your usual diner. Very loud and very busy, but a fun experience.

Great restaurant with very friendly staff. Huge menu, and no one was disappointed. Very large portions. One block from the theater district. It's also reasonably priced.

Great place for brunch! Food is delicious and the size is huge!!! Prices are super cheap for what you get and Taste is really good, service is good too and staff are really friendly. Very traditional tex mex and more. Will 100% recommend for a quick breakfast grab. I recommend the chorizo taco breakfast. Super delicious

Service is quick. Portions are large. Food is delicious! The coffee seemed bitter/burned. Other than that everything was delightful. There was a small wait for parties of three or more, but as a solo traveler I was in and out very quickly! Definitely recommend stopping by for a good hearty breakfast.

Really cool diner vibe but still current! Great food! Healthy portion sizes! My husband and I shared and I didn't finish! Perfect cook on my over easy eggs, pork green chili didn't disappoint! It was bomb!

This place is so good. It has a nice laid back atmosphere, with quick and friendly service even though they were busy. I got a burrito, and the pork green chili was amazing. It was huge and an extremely great value. Highly recommend!!

Sam’s is classic diner food with classic diner service. Food comes out hot and fast with the server keeping an eye on refills for drinks. There’s plenty of seating so when we arrived at 9 a.m. for breakfast on a weekday we didn’t have to wait. Portions are generous, easily enough for a second serving. The hash browns and sausage were fried to a crisp serving as a great foundation for the over easy eggs and sausage gravy. This was really filling and so, so good.
