Love this place been going there for 20 years there's a reason why they've been around so long

First time at this location. I came in to order some breakfast burritos. I ordered three different one. One was bacon and eggs, sausage and eggs, and chorizo and eggs. Entering the building I was greeted by a server. She asked if I was going to eat inside or to go. I told her I wanted some breakfast burritos to go. She gave me a menu. I told her it was my first time here. Her response was then you don’t know what you’ve been missing. I’d like to response. I saw that they had quite a bit of awards so I’m thinking of probably bringing my family in For lunch or dinner if you find this review helpful leave a thumbs up.

Had a massive party and they didn’t mess up a single order or check, impressive service & excellent food. Flautas on point!

Always a good experience here. First time with no kids 😉 so we went BIG with the margarita and michelada. Servers are quick, friendly and food comes out hot! Great flavor and everything is authentic. Check it out.

Excellent service and excellent food. This restaurant has been in Denver since I was a kid. I haven’t been in years and was surprised at how frequently we were checked on. Every time any employee (busser/server/runner) walked by, they asked if we needed anything. The server, Marlene, was such a great sport tolerating my dad with his jokes and the food came out FAST! I had the tacos de birria and ate them too quickly because they were so good. No regerts. 😉

We always looked forward to getting their nachos. I ordered them today......Beef and bean supreme.There wasn't any beef and the foil bowl ,which is usually full to the top, wasn't even an inch deep.The sour cream and guacamole were less than a teaspoon each (not exaggerating).No lettuce or tomato garnish.Absoulutely a disappointment as they use to be the best.Maybe it's a new chef but I will not be going there.Hope they read this and fix the problem!People there are wonderful, though, and a pleasure!Sorry to have to take away the stars but it was that disappointing 😞

Food was great but when I go to a Mexican restaurant, I would like to hear Mexican music over the intercom! Really a downer to sit there eating Mexican food and listen to 90's hip hop music! Don't think I'm going back!!!

I’ve loved this place since I can remember! The service is always great. I love that they’ve had the same people working here for years, mainly because I always know if I’m getting my food fast or a little longer with different servers lol. I come all the way from Westminster to eat here at least 3x a month.

Very popular spot. Took some clients here for lunch. Everyone agreed the food was great! Good service (a little slow getting the bill). Overall everyone was satisfied!

I have come here many many time…since i was little. Let me tell you, ask to be seated on the right side of the restaurant! Every single time we get seated on the left the server never greets us, it’s take a while to finally get a server after you complain. Food is always amazing, cleanliness of the restaurant is amazing, atmosphere is amazing but don’t get seated on the left side of the restaurant!! Best experience is always on the right side.

Let me just say OMG Food was on point. Didn't disappoint. Waiter was on point. I had a delicious coconut margarita. Ceviche was good. Portions were perfect enough to share. Definitely worth my money. Great experience 🙂

Love this place. Have been going here for 23 years. The smothered bean burritos are amazing. Have not had a bad meal at this place. And the staff are on it. No plates are sitting around, and glasses are always kept full. And service is really fast.

Torres used to be our go to spot for good Mexican food. We went last night and my boyfriend and I were very disappointed. Most of our meals were flavorless and seemed to not have the same quality as before. We also ordered a side of chicarrones which were very good. The staff was nice and it was clean. Just not the quality food they usually have.

Just so so. This place has been around for what seems like forever and the food is just ok. We ordered the pescado tacos, mango margarita, and carne asada - none of which was great or tasty. Many street vendors have better food than this. Additionally, the large margarita had practically NO alcohol for $22, so beware of what you order or go somewhere else.

The best jumbo house margaritas ever! Margaritas usually hurt my stomach, but these aren't that sweet so I can drink all of it! The food here is pricy but you get what you pay for! Let me tell you this food is worth all of it! It's delicious! Can't wait to go again!

I called ahead to see if they had vegetarian green chili and i was told yes. When I got there with friends i asked the host and she said yes. Only when going thru the menu I found out that there vegetarian chili was red which I don't like. Very limited vegetarian menu. I would not recommend this restaurant

Been coming here since I was a teenager and they were one little section of the restaurant and take out orders only. Moved far northeast now and we Always make it a point to visit our favorite Mexican restaurant when we are back in the neighborhood. Love the food and not sure what it is about the beans, but they are thee best!

Good spot close to my home. The place is big with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Been here a few times true out the years and everything has tasted good. Good selection of food and adult beverages. Friendly service and very clean restaurant. Carne asada fries are very good here.

The ceviche tostada was excellent you have a choice of one or three tostada's. One was more than enough. The margaritas were yummy with a rim of salt and chili. Great environment with space between the tables. Our bartender/server was on top of things, warm,friendly but not intrusive. Excellent all around!!

Good food for sure but service was definitely off. We had separate checks and the older lady kept repeating us but on a weird level and she was getting confused on the separate check issue. The other employees were great and they ne young lady tried to speak English to us. I used my Spanish with her but I am not the best. If it wasn't for the food I don't know if we would go back.

By far one of the best Mexican restaurants around. Went there yesterday for lunch. And it was amazing and the ladies working were very polite and so kind to myself and children. I definitely will be back soon!

Delicious food! Horrible service! Eating in restaurant, will at least get you the correct food. Ordering out the hood will almost never be correct and when you call the restaurant they just let the phone ring then hang up without answering. $38 Tamale is NOT it.

I've been coming to Torres for about 15 years. It's my fave Mexican restaurant! Yummy salsa, fast service, good prices.

Good food!, tacos birria was delicious and the fried ice cream for dessert was spot on.

We went with a big group so that might have been the problem. Ordered the caldo de res. it had so much Cilantro that my broth was green. I don't mind Cilantro, but it was definitely overkill. My husband ordered the menudo, and it came out slightly warm. My daughter got a taco salad when we should have just ordered one beef taco because that was about the amount of filling in the taco salad shell. I've been here many times before having grown up in the area, but this was one of my least satisfying times there.

Their combination meal with the burrito with chicharrones is my go-to.. it comes with a tamale and an enchilada. The fried ice cream and the churros I usually don't have room for, but they are great. And apparently the kids menu on Wednesdays is free for younger children.

I love this restaurant!! 🩷 My family and I have been going here for years (ever since I was little)! They have a variety of dishes! Their chips and salsa are made in house, and their refried beans are exquisite! I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food!!! And I just wanna say thank you to the owner and the people who work here as well! They work so hard, and they are so kind! Don’t miss a chance to stop by!

Absolutely delicious! We've really missed dining in here. Torres is one of many restaurants that really is worth fighting for. Their food is fantastic and staff is great!

Visiting from AZ and were looking for some good Mexican food. Torres is close to my son’s house so gave it a shot. Delicious! Great customer service. Only negative was the small size of the portions - smallest chimichanga I’ve ever eaten.

This is absolutely My favorite Mexican restaurant in Denver. Love the food, atmosphere, staff and location. Not to mention the giant fishbowl Margaritas are excellent as well. I recommend the 7 Mares, best I've had in Denver. Honestly everything I've had from Torres has been prepared to perfection. I hope you find out for yourself, and enjoy it as much as I do.

Visiting from GA and I have to say this place was delicious! The food has a great seasoning and the staff were very pleasant.

The food is good but the service was awful. We sat outside and our waitress hardly stopped by our table and it started raining so we asked for boxes for to go which never came. We had to go inside to get our check because she never came back out. If restaurants are going to cut down on staff make sure its not at the customers expense.

Yummy salsa & drinks, but veggie fajitas are definitely not 'onions, peppers, & mushrooms' as listed on the menu. Rather, it's frozen vegetables with no seasoning at all and there were definitely no mushrooms. We ordered simply (2 margaritas, 2 veggie fajitas, then a beer when food came out) & were masked/polite/didn't make any special requests, etc. but our server was quite condescending and called us "hijas" each time she came to our table, even though we are both in our 30's. She also condescendingly asked why we were not at work today--I work 50 hours a week as a nurse and work overnights. She asked, "You don't need to work today?!" If you're going to sp rudely judge people for being out to lunch, why do you work at a restaurant? We had to ask when we first ordered drinks, when our drinks arrived, and when our food arrived for waters.I asked for hot sauce when I ordered my food which never came. Of course we were polite and appreciative, tipped 20%+, etc. I used to be a server and I understand right now especially is a hard time, but there were only 2 occupied tables on the patio, service was horrible, and the server was so rude it really ruined our day. We will definitely not be returning.
