This place was life changing. The staff was incredible. The atmosphere was romantic. The food was out of this world. Our waiter was John. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this place to everyone but it is on the pricier side. However, it’s more than just a dinner. It’s an experience and worth every penny!

Best meal I have ever had. Our waitress was named Lindsay and she gave 11/10 customer service. Recommendations were on point, she was so professional and pleasant and oh man the lobster bisque she recommended was to die for. We had to change our thanksgiving plans at the last minute so we were so grateful we were able to get a last minute reservation here. This is our new favorite special occasion place!

We had the most phenomenal experience here! Kristin was the BEST server we’ve ever had - kind, attentive, and radiated positivity. She made sure we had everything we needed. The steaks were cooked to perfection and they made us feel extremely special for our anniversary :) We had the surf & turf special, the ribeye, truffle fries, and asparagus. We will be returning, thanks so much!

Hannah is an angel I never met. She was very kind and took great detail to plan my wedding reception at the capital grill. She granted all my requests and went above and beyond to have the venue ready for our wedding. Kristina was our hostess. She did so seamlessly you didn't even know she was in the room. She offered to take our photos many times. The kitchen staff were so gracious as to carefully put my cake topper even though that wasn't their job. The place was clean, l mean clean. How do l know? I saw the restroom. That's how to tell if a place is truly clean. The restroom was so clean and so beautiful that I was not in a hurry to come out. Everyone enjoyed the meals. The Capital Grill deserves a 10 star review, not 5. Gorgeous place, lovely people. I will definitely return.

Love this place, our dinner was delicious. It is pricey but worth it, enjoyed it from start to end. I recommend it for special occasions or if you're having dinner with someone special!

We had the best experience ever. We were first asked for gluten-free menus which we did not need anyways but that was very nice. Our server was extremely nice he was the head waiter although I do not remember his name he helped celebrate him me and my dad‘s birthday. The head waiter was extremely nice very calm and understanding of the fact that my stepmom needed a menu that was garlic free-based and onion free-based. They were able to accommodate us very well and gave us extremely delicious food. The food was out of the road and he really reminded me of my Nana who used to teach me how to make the specific food that I was able to taste. I was so happy to be able to actually taste something that I knew my Nana used to make concerning when she passed away. This atmosphere and experience was amazing and was quite literally the best fine dining restaurant I have been to in a very long time. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful with a huge glass display of being able to watch the chef with A gorgeous metal eagle and time clocks next to them for every location that you might come from in the countries. They will also make sure that if you wanted leftovers they will pack them for you by taking them for you and then pack them in the back. Additionally they were able to celebrate my dad’s birthday by creating a beautifully embroidered chocolate the decor happy birthday with a crème brûlée cheesecake and a moose That was to die for. Everything was extremely good and I would recommend this restaurant to whoever would want to go here the price we had paid for was $$$$ but worth all of the experiences

We sat at the bar, and Sean was our Bartender. He was excellent, and he greets you with a hand shake and ask for your name. The cocktails were excellent. I would say that all the food was great, except for the NY steak, which was a little tough to cut and eat.

Great place for a special someone's birthday celebration 🎂. All the staff and especially our server were pleasant and attentive. Steaks at The Cap are always fantastic and scrumptious. Oh, and dry aged. The Wedge pic is split in half. The asparagus and lobster mac are half orders. Spinach is the full side. The house birthday cheesecake is sooo good. Coconut cream was a fluffy delight. Again our server and her team were great. Casual dress is fine in the summer. Outside ambience is relaxing. Recommend

Absolutely incredible service and experience. Gave me a champagne toast & dessert to celebrate my bachelorette party. From the greeters in the beginning, hosts, servers, busters to the managers they made you feel like they 100% valued you as a customer. We were late because we got lost (we are from Delaware) and felt so bad about being late, apologized profusely & they just said “we don’t care, we are just happy you are here with us”. Talk about outstanding customer service! Manager even came over to compliment our table and said we were nice & beautiful ladies that stood out and brought up the restaurant. Just genuine, kind, hospitable people working there. Thanks again for making the experience so special.

I took my best friend here for her birthday tonight and we had a really nice time! I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. From the moment we walked in, all the staff were welcoming and professional. Our server Harry was absolutely fantastic and provided great recommendations. We started with the bread basket (okay, we had two) and Brussels sprouts. The seared salmon and seared tuna, entrees were perfect. The mashed potatoes were so buttery and delicious. The berries and cream dessert and mocktails were the icing on the cake. I’m so excited to eat my leftovers tomorrow and even more excited to come back next time for a great meal! Thank you Capital Grille.

Brought my daughter here for graduation dinner. She wanted a white table cloth dinner for her first time! She chose this place...atmosphere was very noisy, table's very close together, but the food was the best any of us has ever put in our mouths. Our waitress brought a fabulous cremebrulee after our meal for my college grad, yummm!

Came here to celebrate a high school friend’s 30th birthday, and the service was absolutely incredible! It started from the very beginning, where they provided us with complimentary champagne to apologize for a small wait to be seated. Once we were sat, our waitress Autumn and her team quickly and efficiently took our orders for drinks, apps, & main courses. One of the steaks was a bit too undercooked, and they provided us with a replacement on the house to-go! A gentleman who i believe may have been the manager came to our table, personally apologized, and provided us with a few desserts for the table as well as the birthday girl’s dessert and drink. I would highly recommend for a date night, an outing with colleagues, or to celebrate a special occasion! We are from Atlanta and we’re constantly giving praise to the amount of care and detail shown compared to many restaurants back home. Thank you again to the entire staff for an incredible night!

Capital Grille charges high prices for ambience and service, but the steaks aren’t elite to meet the price. The ribeye is thick and rather flavorless, but asking for garlic butter afterwards certainly helped and it was brought promptly. Lobster mac and cheese was solid, but overall the food is good but not great.

Dry aged New York is nice! You also don’t want to miss their dessert because it’s awesome too! Staff are attentive and make sure to serve everything you need.

Great place to take in Downtown Denver, walk the streets and shops. Amazing Surf and Turf. Sides of mushrooms or mash potatoes are a must! Martinis are fabulous. Great restaurant even with a ton of construction going on.

Amazing food, service and experience. Upper scale but does not appear to have a dress code. High end quality food.

I had the most delightful experience celebrating our 8 year anniversary at the Capital Grille, all thanks to the exceptional service provided by our server, Wade. From the moment we arrived, Wade greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome. Throughout our afternoon lunch, Wade went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. The French onion soup, a personal favorite, was presented beautifully and tasted absolutely divine. Our mimosas were expertly crafted, providing a refreshing and celebratory touch to our meal. What truly stood out was Wade's attention to detail and genuine care for our experience. Despite not ordering a main course, he treated us like VIPs, ensuring our glasses were always full and promptly addressing any requests or questions we had. Wade's professionalism and friendly demeanor created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the celebration. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer suggestions made our dining experience truly exceptional. We left the Capital Grille feeling grateful and thoroughly satisfied, all thanks to the outstanding service provided by Wade. It's refreshing to encounter a server who takes such pride in their work, and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

Overall, it’s a great experience. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and we loved the crème brûlée with happy birthday written in chocolate. It’s a great gesture. The dinner would have been perfect if all dishes are served one after one. The lamb appetizer is not great.

We went here for our anniversary and we felt so special. The food was so good and Stephen was amazing and so helpful! While this is primarily a steakhouse they also had great non-beef options (I don’t do beef but the salmon was sooo good!) We had so much fun celebrating here and would absolutely recommend.

The food was good but not as good as some of the other steakhouses in downtown. We ordered the calamari, which our server recommended, and I felt it was nothing special and was not a huge fan of the banana peppers. We split the wedge salad, which was more than enough to split. My husband ordered the chefs suggestions - Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini onions, wild mushrooms, and fig essence. They cooked the steak perfectly! I ordered the pan-seared sea bass with shiittake mushrooms and asparagus with miso butter. It was cooked just perfectly and had excellent flavor. We also ordered the Pamesan Truffle French Fries, they were cooked crispy and steamy hot, just a tad too much truffle oil. Since it was my husband's birthday, they gave a complimentary birthday dessert that was a small cheesecake and molten chocolate cake. Overall, it was an excellent meal, just not every dish was as anticipated.

My husband and I really enjoyed eating at the capital grille. You know going in that it's going to be expensive, but the food is really delicious. The service was also really great. It was our anniversary, and they put a very special decoration and note on our table, and at the end of the meal, we got a complimentary sampler anniversary dessert plate. It was perfect. I have only one complaint. I wish this restaurant had a dress code. My husband and I were dressed very nicely for an elegant, classy evening out, but there were other people there in shorts and t-shirts. That really diminushes the overall atmosphere in the restaurant.

The service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant was amazing. The oysters were fresh and I’m always cautious of seafood since we are landlocked. My husband and I had an great time for our anniversary. We will be returning for Valentine’s Day.

Let me say that by going to this type of restaurant you expect a certain level of service and quality of food. The Capital Grille did not disappoint. First, the food was fantastic! The calamari, a staple appetizer, was fresh and spicy with a hint of pepperoncinis to cut through the heat. The seafood appetizer plate was fresh, sweet, well thought out and had delicious sauces. The main entrees came out perfect. The level of service was incredible. Even though we had a large party, the wait staff kept us very happy and moved our dinner along at a perfect pace. I would highly recommend this restaurant and the meal I had was something I will always remember. The Capital Grille is an exciting experience that everyone should try to have at least once.
