240 Union turned out to be the perfect spot for our wedding anniversary dinner tonight. We hadn't been back to the restaurant since they've updated the decor and the restaurant looks great. We started our meal with the Colorado Beets & Pears salad and the soup of the day which was Split Pea and Ham. This set the tone for a delicious meal. There were generous yellow and red beets with lots of pecans and a wonderful goat cheese! This was by far the best split pea I've EVER had. It wasn't your mother's plain soup but had the perfect spices with the addition of onions, celery, and carrots. The ham was not a canned product but bits and pieces of ham hock meat - yum! It was more like a hearty pot pie filling. I also ordered the Pank Cursted Crab Cakes which were mostly clam and were crisped perfectly. My wife ordered the Duck Leg & Thigh Confit. It came with a generous portion of duck on a bed of creamy risoto and spinach. My entree was the Big Seafood Soup, Amalfi Coast inspired with (3) generous sized scallops, (3) clams, (3) mussels, and (3) jumbo shrimp in a garlic tomato sauce/soup. The mussels were the only item that didn't meet the size of the other items. You have to order pineapple upside down cake when you see it on the menu. A la mode with coffee finished off the nights meal. If your mouths not watering yet, see the pics!

First time, with no reservation, and kindly assigned to a bar table. Attentive service, great fried calamari, crab cakes and beet salad.. entrees were salmon, pork chop and wagyu flank steak. Extraordinary place. Will return when in Denver, Lakewood area.

Mostly good food. We ordered the crab cakes, tri colored cesser and the half chicken. The crab cakes were more like fish cakes, there was no taste of crab unfortunately. The tri colored salad was good but as a $12 salad it a bit overpriced. The chicken was very tasty, The garlic was caramelized and made for a great sauce. The green beens were good but its hard to screw them up, they were very basic and plan. The cheddar hush puppies where very tasty, they probably were the biggest surprise.

An awesome resturant. It was so good to receive the food early even though we were there during holidays. I think it only took 15 minutes to bring all the food. The meatloaf was quite good not too heavy. Crab cake was light and good option to start with. Shrimp cocktail was very spicy not to my liking. Sticky toffee pudding was flavorful. Overall a great resturant and should definitly be visited.

Upscale dining without the price tag! A diverse menu for everyone - everything is fresh and a beautiful presentation on the plate. The staff is super attentive, the location is easy to find, white linens, wonderful atmosphere, and impeccable service! Make sure and check out their Prime Rib special on Sunday night, a hearty meal without breaking the bank. We highly recommend you to visit this gem next time you are in the area, we always make reservations in advance but not it's not required. They have a private dining room, its elegant ... perfect for hosting your Holiday party or large groups.

A quality and fine dining restaurant 240 Union Restaurant sports an bar and open kitchen. The menu is limited and prices range between $25 and $40 with Drinks from $10 and up. Great customer service and wine selection with signature cocktails. The menu is seasonal and subject to change. This place is excellent for a special night out and special occasion.

Lovely gem hidden in plain sight. I pass this place every day. I commute and have been talking about trying it for years. I was surprised that it was more upscale than I thought. Even though I wasn't turned away in jeans, I felt pretty underdressed in just a comfy top and sneakers. The food was very good. For those who like things very plain, you may have a hard time finding something super plain. Most dishes come well seasoned with sauce or gravy and are a lot fancier than your regular bar and grill. It was a little loud even though it was a Tuesday night, so it was a little hard to hear, but the waitstaff was fantastic and professional. The mango sorbet was delicious and it was a lovely evening. We'll be back for sure.

I really enjoyed my recent experience! They have been around since 1989 and it shows (in a good way). Our steak was perfectly done and the pasta was great too. The Calamari appetizer was my favorite - it was perfectly crispy and complimented with some fried green beans. We will be back! So glad to to have found this gem!

We have been going to 240 Union for years. It never disappoints! It is the most affordable and varied fine dining without the downtown Denver prices. Great cocktails. Plenty of parking. And friendly faces!

What an amazing experience we had here for our wedding! The food was absolutely perfect and all of our guests exclaimed how fantastic it was! There was great communication from Alexa from the time we booked their private party room to the day of the event. They didn’t charge a bunch of “wedding” fees like other restaurants we talked to. We paid for the delicious food, drinks, tip and a small admin fee. It was VERY reasonable. The service was also top notch. We had 3 servers for our party of 35 and they were attentive, professional and respectful. They responded to drink orders quickly and were especially attentive to myself and the bride. We will stop here for dinner anytime we are in town now. This is our new favorite restaurant in the Denver area!

Really fun spot to catch up with friends. The lobster corn dogs and the salmon entree were absolutely incredible. Our server Becky was amazing. Friendly, fun, great advice/description when I was trying to decide. Very accommodating as two guests had some allergens to avoid. Will definitely be returning.

The best! This place has been around a while and there is a reason. Great food, staff, atmosphere. Can’t think of a better place in the metro area for an upscale dinner. They are kid friendly as well. Make a reservation and save room for dessert!

The food, the service the atmosphere, all of which were nothing shy of perfection. Had a decent size group celebrating a birthday party for her 100th birthday. We couldn't have asked for anything better

Wow! 240 Union goes above and beyond to address patrons' food restrictions. My brother lost his ability to eat solid food due to cancer. Called 240 union ahead to request a puréed soup, they created a special lobster soup (not on the menu) for my brother to enjoy. Great food, Great service! Thank you, 240 union, for a fantastic evening!

It's hard to believe a fine restaurant like this still exists. The service from our waitress was fantastic, the food top notch and the atmosphere just perfect. The prices are a bit more than your local Burger grub, but oh so worth it!

The food matched up to the expectations based on the more refined interior. We were sat instantly with no reservation on a Wednesday night. The hosts were very attentive and polite. Service was awesome, and really makes you feel like they care about your experience. Food was absolutely incredible. Delicious bread, awesome meatloaf, incredible rib eye special with a yummy blue cheese steak butter. Grandpa enjoyed his pistachio pork chop also. Hibiscus cocktail was sweet but yummy. Overall a really nice experience and I wish I could take the first bite of that rib eye all over again. Melt in your mouth level steak right there!!! Super satisfied and can’t wait to come back.

One of our favorites in the Denver metro area. They have Sizzling Shrimp that is not on the menu that we always order. Great food every time.
