Overall: 5 stars. A must visit. Outstanding all around. Friendly staff, prompt, can speak to the menu extremely well. Delicious food. Scene: Love this location in LoHi. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the music and fresh air. Service: Every person working at Highland Tap and Burger is kind and really cares about your experience. Food: I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I love trying new things but might need to get this again next time I’m here.

One of the best burger taverns in Denver. Their wings were quite big and tasty. Their sauce was on point, especially their smokey flavor. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Great selection of beer as well. Also, the staff was spectacular 👍👍

Absolutely fabulous dining experience! The food was sensational, the service was top notch and the location was relaxing and cool. We loved it so much, we went back twice in 24 hours! Excellent options for gluten free - very careful attention to food preparation. Something for everyone in our family. Reasonable prices and ethical wage division. We loved this restaurant!!!! Thank you for a terrific experience in Denver!

4 stars, only because they forgot our appetizer flat bread and brought it out after our burger. Dayum, that classic tap burger was delish though! Added bacon and some fresh jalapeños! Cooked just right. The au jus was a nice touch.

My husband and I were out and decided to have lunch in Highlands and wanted a burger. Well, it took them 15 minutes to get us a soda. Then we thought we better order some chips and salsa so we didn't starve before we got our meals. The waitress was the hostess, bartender, and part of the wait staff. If you are looking for a lunch where you will wait for over 2 hours, this is the place for you!! The food was good but almost like smash burger. Green Chili was good for dipping chips. Probably will not be back.

Food was good, service, average but friendly. The 3 stars are for the fiasco with Bill. 2 burger and fries, 2 happy hour beers. 55$ they added 22$= 77$ server say they add 22$ to bill to pay back of house fair wage, we added 15$ for server tip. 92$ It's a decent place but 92$ and change for a average hamburger and fries. Not doing it again.

Clem and friendly the parking is absolutely atrocious. The outside area is super cute. Good choice bathroom is very clean. Also the waitress was very friendly and the prices were too outrageous. A little on the pricey side for some items but all in all not bad.

Smoked buffalo wings were really good. I appreciate a house made sauce and this buffalo wasn't too spicy which was nice. Side of carrots and celery were very fresh. I also had the simple arugula salad and the greens were fresh. I was told beforehand about the service charge and I'd prefer back of house getting a share which I'm told they do. Liv was super nice and when I need things at a super busy bar/restaurant, I ask and she took care of us. They also have some N/A beers available which is a plus.

The food was delicious & our waitress was very attentive! Their sweet potato waffle fries were the highlight of our meal. The beers were a bit pricey though, $8/pint. Parking there was also limited, & we went after lunchtime.

Superb food at a high price with a 20% “service charge” on all tabs (no further gratuity expected but any additional gratuity appreciated)

There were dogs calmy hanging out with their owners, the patio was clean and spacious, and the service was perfect. The only thing that could be an opportunity is their onion rings. They are definitely frozen, not made in-house, which is fine, but many did not have onions in them, and they were a bit chewy. Wings might be the best I have ever had. Cheese curds with the jalapeño longinberry jam were straight fire, and the smash burger just hits different (so good).

Best cheese curds I have ever had. Also such a delicious, simple burger. Really good flavors all around. I highly recommend this spot!

Great food and service was awesome. Not very crowded on a Saturday night which was good but was looking for a more festive atmosphere. Great place aside from what we were looking for.

Patio was great for pooch. Not a fan of places that auto add 20% tip that made the Steakhouse burger $35 with onion rings. $35 for not real wagyu and a weird tasting homemade steak sauce. For $35 I expect exceptional. The steakhouse is ok, looks delicious but doesn't taste delicious. It was the odd sauce. Would've been much better with store bought steak sauce even A1. This place is very proud of their pseudo waygu burgers and service, however, neither are worth the $35 including auto 20% tip. Had to ask for more water and 2x for the check.

While looking for a place to eat after the children’s museum, we stumbled across in Highland, tap and burger. The food was really good. We all enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was awesome. He left in the middle of our meal do the shift change and the lady that took over she was great to.

Good spot for food and drink. I’d love to come back and grab a burger with a football game on the tvs. I would say the regular fries are a bit below par and could use some work. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious - but I would advise to expect more of a sloppy joe type of sandwich rather than a traditional pulled pork.

My favorite Tap and Burger. They have the best smash burger with lots of other creative burgers (the BBQ Burger with an onion ring is also a fave!). This is a great spot to gather with friends, it has a cozy neighborhood vibe and the servers and bartenders are really friendly and attentive. Great happy hour too.

I know their burgers are top notch from past visits (and LOTS of options), but had the mac and cheese with Cheetos this time. Very tasty. Also, ask for their special in-house hot sauce they have behind the counter. I wish they had more West Coast IPA's, as they don't have much, but that is my preference, so wouldn't demote it on that item alone of course. I was there on a Sunday when it was busy for football (and yes, they have the Ticket for all games), and Sean gave me perfect service. One of the owners, Chris, happened to be around and was extremely nice also. If looking for a low-key place with great food and an energetic atmosphere, this would be a good choice.

Went here a few weeks ago and was shocked at the price of the bill. The food and drinks were good but I was very surprised once we got the check. I understand the reason for the 20% service charge but I feel strongly that y'all should look into another way to let customers know about this. I don't know what the best solution would be but the "surprise" at the end of the meal doesn't seem right and also puts servers in an awkward position where they have to explain what it is and jeopardize their tips. Perhaps having an explanation on the menus and increasing the prices of individual items could be a better approach? I really don't know but I think it is something to consider! Apologies in advance if this is an ignorant take on the situation.

First time here, heard the burgers were thee best in Denver. Well the spot did not disappoint at all. We had several items from the menu and they were all made perfectly. Best to get on the waitlist otherwise you will have a bit of a wait. We will definitely visit again!
