Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and good service. Ordered five different food items: oysters, carrots, cauliflower, gnochetti, and tagliatelle. The carrots were excellent but everything else was fairly underwhelming.

Arrived a little earlier for the reservation and the table was all set and ready. The server welcomed us and gave us time to look the menu over. The menu is pretty eclectic and includes pretty and delicious cocktails. Lots of Asian-influenced dishes, all prepared to order. The good tasted fresh and it was well seasoned. All delicious but the steak was not tender enough for my liking. Portions are on the small side and served family style. A great place to spend an evening with friends.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Goodness, this place was so fantastic!!! We wandered downtown for an hour trying to find a place to eat. Decided to try this spot and our socks were blown right off. We were a party of 4 (Dad is extremely picky) and we loved the food, drinks and server. I will say none of us were starving, so sharing small plates seemed perfect for us. It was a great drink list (even craft non-alcoholic beer for Dad) and my craft cocktail was outa’ sight! We ordered 2 crispy cod plates (the FLAVORS ON EVERY DISH WERE PERFECT, surprising and delicious), heirloom tomatoes (drooooool…), gnochetti, garlic fries…. And those desserts (you had us at chèvre cheesecake ❤️) were fabulous. The flavors were so interesting and perfect on all the dishes. Our group left absolutely happy and full. The bill was around $170 for 5 plates, 3 drinks and 2 desserts. Worth every penny! Their prices are very comparable to other upscale restaurants in the area. Our family is very picky and to find a fresh, unique and delicious restaurant with impeccable service that serves food for meat eaters and vegetarians is golden 💫

The Kitchen has been a date night fave for my boyfriend and I! Last night we dined at the Denver location to celebrate our anniversary. Food and Drinks….incredible as always! I ordered the Bring May Flowers Cocktail - it was a lavender purple color garnished with lemon rind and a single large ice cube. It was so good I had 2! My bf chose the Peaches n Cream cocktail and he loved it! We started off with the Carrots as an appetizer - gotta say, those carrots were almost better than our actual entrees. Definitely recommend! For our main dish we both went with the Tagliatelle. Absolutely delicious! And finally we ended our meal with the Cruffin - we had never tried a pastry hybrid of a croissant & a muffin, so of course, we had to. It was beautifully presented but far too sweet for our personal liking. Still give it all a 10/10! Side note: I’ve attached pictures of our stunning drinks and dishes! On the service side, we were sadly a bit disappointed. Our waitress seemed miserable, like she would rather be doing anything else than working. Both my bf and I are former slaves of the service industry, so we know how it goes and it seemed like maybe she was just having a bad day…but she hardly spoke, never introduced herself. She kind of just robotically went through the motions of serving us. However, the manager working was the most delightful woman ever, she checked on us and every time she spoke to us, she just lit up - never got her name though! Not a bad experience, we’ll be returning for sure!

Chose The Kitchen for date night & it was super yummy. We had the mussels and carrots for our appetizer, then the roasted chicken & lamb for our main course. The only thing that was eh was the hominy in the lamb- it was dry and tasted old. But the customer service was superb & the quickness of getting all of are plates was great.

This was our first time here. Love the atmosphere. The service was excellent. The vibes were on point. The food was not what I expected. It shattered our expectations with incredible choices. Flavors in every course is unique and so well put together. There was a mistake on one of our plates but service was quick to replace and they compt that dish which was not necessary. I will be coming back again and I suggest making a reservation.

My husband and I came here for dinner, celebrating 10 years of marriage! This place did NOT disappoint! I'm a little more cultured and adventurous when it comes to trying new food but my husband is not. From the hosts to the waiters, to the bussing; this place blew our minds. He enjoyed every bite, and so did I. He had never experienced a dining facility where the whole meal was shared. To tell you that it was an unforgettable experience would not do it justice. We ordered the Parker House Rolls and Grilled Oysters to start. Then followed by the Black Spaghetti and the Ranch Steak. We ended the meal with the Baked Alaska dessert, and every bite was exquisite. To pair with our meals, he ordered the American IPA and I started with the Third Star to the Left and had their Merlot with our main course. The drinks were perfection paired with the courses.

I'm ok spending more money on food but $130 without tip for a glass of wine, an old fashion, salmon and crab fried rice. The menu says portions to share. That is seriously laughable. We ended up going to a fast food place because we left hungry and didn't want to waste our money. Severely overpriced for what it was. The wait staff was nice but we were ignored for a hot minute. 8/10 do not recommend. what we did share, it was good but not that good. I saw someone order the lobster roll and I just laughed and said, I'm glad I'm not that guy. Boy did I get screwed too.

The service was excellent. Our server, Tom, was attentive and explained the way the menu worked. I wish I had snapped a pic of the Gem Salad. It was beautiful and absolutely delicious. The chicken with truffle sauce and fries was a big portion. We probably could have shared that, too! I would return!

Update: I went back at the manager’s invitation and tried dinner. I had a vegetarian cauliflower and chickpeas dish that was very tasty and my son had pasta bolognese, which said was good. For dessert we shared creme brûlée also good but not great. While the atmosphere is nice and service is very good, the prices are still very high for the quantity offered. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn’t for the service. She forgot to put the salad order in so I got the waffle and waited. I reminded her but by the time I got the salad and ate it, the waffle was cold. Otherwise the food is tasty and they use high quality ingredients. My son said the chicken sandwich was really good.

Comfortable setting, great service, excellent food. The restaurant was well staffed, even on a Wednesday evening, so service was attentive and friendly. Menu has a lot of variety, but I will say it's a pretty heavy selection of dishes - a lot of butter and cream, everything was delicious and very well prepared, but quite rich. Portions are appropriate for one person as a meal, or great to share with 2-4 people per dish. Desserts were phenomenal (citrus creme brulee, macaron ice cream sandwich) - not super sweet, a ton of flavor and nuance. Restaurant is cozy, comfortable and engaging without being noisy. Meal was actually quite reasonably priced for as well crafted as everything was. We'll be back!

We came here for thanksgiving dinner as we are visiting Colorado for the holiday weekend. The layout of the restaurant is quite lovely and the lighting is dim and calming. We ordered their thanksgiving food menu and every bite was as delicious as the previous. They had an appetizer, a main, and then desert. The main included a handful of sides including Brussels sprouts and green beans. Everything was stacked high and delicious! Everything was a great experience overall however it started off a bit unexpected! We started out with salad and soup. However as I was eating the salad, I bit into a piece of ceramic in my salad; lucky I didn’t swallow it. I gave it to one of the servers asking what the heck was this. She went to grab a manager and the Manager came by and said “it was a piece of a plate, and asked me if I wanted another salad or anything else”. They took care of the whole night and the manager always kept an eye on us thru out the evening. Honestly one of the best customer service experiences at a restaurant we’ve ever been to. The whole evening was great this is a place you have to go to when you visit Denver!!! Service food and atmosphere what more could you ask for!

Nice place and I’m sure their other dishes might be good. I got the steak frites and the steak was really chewy. The fries were great and I loved the chimichurri, but the lack of flavor and consistency of the steak out weigh that. Add the fact that it’s over $30 for lunch pushes it down to 3 stars. So it’s fine

Lovely Sunday brunch. We came as a family with young ones and the waiters were very patient. The burrata was interesting with well balanced flavors. Good coffee and nice atmosphere

Wonderful experience! Much thanks to our bartender/server Raymien! He recommended everything we drank and ate, and it was excellent! Came back two days in a row! Definitely a new favorite spot when we come to Denver.

The food at The Kitchen was phenomenal. Our server recommended the carrot appetizer, and it was amazing. The atmosphere for a Thursday afternoon lunch was lovely; it wasn’t overly busy and the staff were very attentive. I had the southern fried chicken sandwich. It had TONS of flavor - and reheated well in the air frier! I will definitely visit The Kitchen again.

The wife and I stopped in on my birthday before a show at the Ball area and we really enjoyed it. Let me first say the bathroom is the nicest in downtown Denver. They have real lit candles. Aside from the great service we received at the bar, the cocktails and desserts are amazing. We look forward to go back for dinner.

What a great find. Had a delicious dinner here after the Giants game. The Lobster roll was fantastic , as were those amazing carrots. Had the crab fried rice, chocolate mousse and the cheesecake. So good and the service was beyond friendly. Will be back for sure.

Our first time here and definitely not what we expected from an "American Bistro". Food with an Asian flare pleasantly surprised how delicious everything was😋. They have a small room in the back where company meetings and/or other events can be hosted. Beautiful ambiance! Great service! Definitely recommend.

Couldn’t have been happier with my experience here. The food was packed with flavor, and the service was exquisite. The dessert was a chocolate mousse mound (or something, I can’t remember the actual name!) depending on how I ate it (eating the almonds first and then the mousse, or mousse first followed by meringue) it tasted different with each bite. It actually gave me goosebumps it was so good! I’m definitely coming back.

This place is worth the price. But it is pricey! We went for restaurant week so we could sample a lot of options at once. We will now definitely come back. We had grilled oysters, raw albacore, miso broccoli, roasted delicata squash, skirt steak, mussels in chorizo broth, the big cookie, and the almond cheesecake. I would eat any of these again in a heartbeat. Light, healthy, delicious food that is filling and so so so well cooked. Amazing flavors. Go here!!!

Had brunch here today and felt compelled to write a review because the food was so damned good. I’m usually a purist when it comes to Eggs Benedict, but today I saw The Kitchen’s version on the menu (pic) and decided to give it a try. It was amazing! They start with a crab cake that’s crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with crab and avocado. Topped with a runny poached egg (pic). There’s a perfect Hollandaise sauce that’s got a bit of a bite (jalapeño) and a perfect finish (lime). I literally ate slowly because I wanted it to never end. The potatoes were pretty good, too; I’m just not a fan of potatoes in general. I’d rate it a full five stars but their air conditioning was broken yet again and it was insanely hot in the restaurant. I can only imagine how hot it is for the kitchen workers and the servers.

What a great experience! We were lucky to have Julianna as our server and she was 5 stars, 10/10 just her alone. She was super friendly, warm, and made great recommendations. Lots of wine options and I thought the pricing was reasonable, 14-20$ for a glass of wine is very standard. I enjoyed the bubbly rosé and delicious dessert wine Julianna recommended. For food we had the cruller, carrots (phenomenal), two pasta dishes, and crispy cauliflower. All very tasty, good portion and well made. Dessert was also so good! Highly recommend the semifreddo option (ours had strawberry and rhubarb, yum!) Anyways, go here, and if not for the food, for the great service and people!
