The food is good, but the service is horrible. We were brushed aside throughout our entire dinner. The waitress didn’t even introduce herself to us, she would just stand by our table side without asking us anything. A normal waiter would ask “would you like to start with a cocktail/ or what would you like to start with, etc”. We basically had to figure out what she wanted to ask us each time she came to our table. We felt ignored throughout our dinner time here. The food is amazing at Le Roux. Their cocktails are mediocre. You are better off ordering your favorite mixed/classic cocktail or a glass of wine, it would be better than their specialty cocktails. The whole experience was ruined because of bad service. We got the scallops and the short ribs, they were both spectacular! However, I wouldn’t visit again because bad service overpowers good food.

We came here over a year ago and got some flavorless scallops but we decided to give them another chance. This time I got a medium rare steak but when I cut it open it was bloody, completely raw and inedible. The waiter brought me a new dish, which was nice, but if that’s your most expensive entree ($40) it should be cooked correctly. The French dip was tasty but nothing to write home about. We won’t be back.

Fresh bread. The short rib was cooked just right with incredible flavor. The steak frites, as always, amazing and cooked perfectly rare to my liking. The mussels and oysters were definitely on the small side, but delicious. If you’re visiting Denver, or even if you live here, come check this French restaurant out!

This is a really cool French bistro in Denver. We had 8:30 pm reservations, we’re seated pretty promptly. I think they were operating short staffed so to put our drinks order in after we sat down we didn’t see our waitress till my husband asked. But even still, she was very sweet, you could tell they were just busy and short on staff. The cab franc is pretty good and their beer selection isn’t bad either. We had deviled eggs and oysters for apps, both were really good! My husband had the salmon which is arguably the best he’s ever had and I agree! The mix of flavors is delicious. I had the linguine which was also good but his entree was definitely better. Really cute a lot for a date night, would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful surroundings but just OK experience. The meal felt rushed and staff seemed annoyed. Smoked tartare had a flavor of butane more so than natural wood smoke. Trout filet still had bones, earthy in taste and otherwise bland. Scallop dish looked good. Short rib was tasty but small portion. Not at the top of my list, especially at this price point.

I had the most wonderful experience at Le Roux for my sister's engagement party! Michael was our server and he was wonderful. The food was exceptional and ambiance was perfect. All around 5 star experience, definitely will be coming back to celebrate more special moments here!

I came in a few weeks ago with my parents to celebrate my mom's birthday. We made reservations, but it turned out not to be necessary as the place wasn't busy when we came in around 7 pm (on a Friday night). Nonetheless, we were graciously greeted by the host and quickly shown to our table. The evening went well by and large. The best part of our dining experience here was the complimentary champagne they provided us as their way of helping us commemorate the occasion. Not to say that it overshadowed the food and service, but who doesn't like free champagne? Our server was on point and was even gracious enough to remove a cocktail from our tab after my mom determined that it wasn't to her liking. The menu had a good array of food offerings, wine, and cocktails. The ambiance of the restaurant was also intimate and actually reminiscent of several places I dined at while in France. My parents and I certainly enjoyed our meals, particularly my mom who savored every bite of her steak frites. For me, the side of whipped potatoes was the highlight of my dining experience; superb and delicious beyond description. In all, this place proved to be a good venue to celebrate my mother's special day. For Bistro Le Roux boats good service, menu offerings, food quality, and atmosphere.

What an awesome spot. Food was incredibly tastyand creative. We enjoyed the Rhubarb Panna Cotta, perfectly seared Scallops, Cowboy Rigatoni and a few others. Somm Ozzy steered us into an outstanding Pio Cesare single vineyard Barbera. Cocktails were fun and dessert was great! Will be back!

Delicious! I ordered an old fashioned and the crusted short rib and both were very good. The sweet onions with the short rib were an interesting touch but still good. The bartenders were friendly and drinks were good. Would go again.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The waitstaff is on top of everything. Any of them can easily make recommendations or offer up explanations for any dish. I had the Seared Scallops with Butternut Squash Risotto, Truffle Honey and Fried Sage. It was delicious. The risotto was sublime and the fried sage added a lovely herbal note that really brightened the entire dish. We shared a dessert and chose the Chocolate-Mint Gratin. This dessert was beautiful in addition to being delicious. Bistro LeRoux was a wonderful experience. A lovely meal shared with family for a stellar celebration.

Hands down one of the best brunch locations in Denver. Decor is super cute. Service was awesome and the food was perfect. The deviled eggs is a must and the lemon tart. Best French onion soup in town. And they make their own butter. Love this place.

We went to LeRoux for NYE dinner and it was the perfect restaurant to go to. It was very romantic and had the perfect atmosphere. Our food was very impressive! So much flavor. We loved everything we got and our experience couldn't have been better. Our waiter Mack took very good care of us, he made our experience special. Can't say enough about LeRoux, highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect experience. Brody was our waiter, he provided excellent service. The food was amazingly delicious. All seafood was fresh. The trout deviled eggs were great. The frites were awesome. Shrimp cocktail was so delicious. All sauces were match from scratch you can tell immediately. The absolute best part was dessert Chocolate tart! I’d 10/10 recommend this place. I will be back!

Everyone should get here for Brunch now! I didn’t realize Saturday brunch was new for them but I was very impressed. We had the oysters (served with a grape- so unique and so good), eggs purgatory and avocado BLT. And Bellinis. All of which were so tasty and the staff was very kind. Swing by and check out their brunch!

This is the happy hour of my dreams. Glass of rose, Spanish meatballs, French onion soup & fresh bread + butter for under $25. Amazing

Very beautiful, intimate place on 16th street mall w/ two neighboring sister restaurants. Seriously, the interior is blue and gorgeous. Really solid happy hour. Had a decent amount of food & a bottle of Prosecco for a good price. They do tack on a 6% BOH fee; I wish they better explained that when they drop the bill. Did not like the oysters at all. The bartender dropped them off and said “they are freshly shucked.” I hope so, yes. Small and very salty and nothing to eat them with either so we used a butter knife. Foie gras was interesting… like a weird little dessert with strawberries & raspberry jam. Definition of savory and sweet. Deviled eggs and meatballs were great! Worth a try.

Sooooooo good!! The food was delicious I especially liked the short rib, whipped potatoes and oysters!! Worth the money for sure. I only wish the seats where farther apart I was seated by a loud cougher so annoying an an upscale setting. But the waitress was great! Also, the table I was seated at was not stable for the price if the food this has to be fixed as soon as possible.

Best French onion soup I've ever had, absolutely a must order. The service here was top notch, all the food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant decor was inviting and comfortable. Highly recommend the port poached figs dessert as well, very unique and wonderful flavors. Can not recommend this place highly enough!

Denver will always be home but it’s hit or miss with both food and service. Not the case here - we had AMAZING service from Samantha - she knew the menu like the back of her hand and was so kind - and the best date night meal in recent memory. Will absolutely be back.
