We went on a Saturday night around 9pm. It was a packed and lively crowd. Service was great. The food... Not so much. The steak was a little tough and I was expecting a side of veggies and got 2 asparagus. The garlic mashed was underwhelming for a $35 steak. We also ordered a medium burger came out well done so we had to send it back. All in all the vibe was good but I wouldn't go back to eat but for the atmosphere.

Amazing dinner. Charlie's is always on point with it's food, crowd and experience. Lovely piano music, the singing can go a little flat at times. Overall five out of five everytime. Reasonable food prices and quality food. What more can a girl ask for. I had the steak tips this time and e steak was so tender (I prefer medium rare, that way I knew it would be perfect once the meal reached me), the asparagus perfectly sauteed. Very well prepared. My daughter had the salmon. Tender and juicy. We asked for a side of the lemon cream sauce that was served with another chicken dish. And that sauce made the salmon 100% better in our eyes. We are condiment queens! It was perfectly fine without the extra sauce. The Caesar salad was in point. Amazing love the fresh Caesar dressing made with the anchovies. Best in the city. Loved it all. I'll be back again this week as this had been determined to be our new favorite go to joint. Well recommended.

Burger had very sharp shards of metal in it, girlfriend swallowed one, now contemplating trip to the ER. Not worth risking your family's safety.

Made a reservation with possibly the owner or manager and came in last night for the first time. The gentleman that I made the reservation over the phone with was there to make us feel so welcome when we came in. He reserved a table for us right across from the piano. The vibes were so warm and inviting. The pianist was very talented and lovely to listen to. I ordered the beef tips in whiskey sauce and my husband ordered a Greek plate. Both were delicious and were huge portioned plates. We also came in right before happy hour was ending so we got 2 for 1 drinks, which is a great deal for happy hour around Denver. I noticed the same gentleman who took our reservation and seated us, making sure everyone walking is was warmly welcomed and seated right away. He was so sweet and it was such a nice touch. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their strong attention to customer satisfaction, good food and ensuring a special experience for their patrons is so easy to see. We can't want to come back

Wandered in here from Milk Bar with two friends since we really wanted to sing out some songs. We unfortunately missed piano man and there were to be no repeats, but our hot toddies were excellent and the atmosphere was great as well.

Great food but the place smells like cigarettes!!!!!! I don't know why the health department hasn't gotten complaints yet. It's been going on for years that they don't close the door to the heavily used enclosed smoking patio into the restaurant, and it smells to high hell in the restaurant like a smoking lounge. They also started adding 3% as a Non Cash Adjustment to your bill. This is never disclosed. Like they're trying to be sneaky...

Classic pub... ..super classic. The bartender was great, piano playing was excellent and entertaining. Even the locals I met were great as well. Food was decent. Have the French dip. It was nothing to write home about but I was happy with it. I would definitely go back!

Always a fantastic speak easy type of lounge with piano musicians, that take turns playing songs that we all know! the service is always fantastic. The menu is extensive and they are even open for breakfast. I ordered the Carne Asada fries and they were to die for.

My family and I of 14 ate at Charlie Browns on the 11/6/2022 we are beyond happy by the quality and taste of the foods we had. Also extremely happy with the service from their employees. I want to thank our waiter Sam and applaud the owner George for all the years in business he upholds great service and great quality even more than other high end restaurants in Colorado.

I've been going to Charlie Brown's for years! Their food is amazing! I love the smothered Burrito Supreme, the French Dip, the Greek platter, and their morning breakfast Burrito! The prime rib sandwich is absolutely my fav! The staff is friendly and the piano bar is classic Denver! You won't be disappointed at this local legendary Bar & Grill! Don't forget pig roast Fridays on the patio in Summer! 🏆

This place is so charming! We were greeted like regulars by the host. Our waiter anticipated our every need. Our drinks were refilled constantly. The cocktails are fun and they’re seasonal menu had great options. The food is excellent quality and a good bang for your buck. The menu is diverse, but not overwhelming. We loved the live piano and the cozy atmosphere. A great place for date night or hanging out with friends. A gem of a bar and restaurant!

Food was terrific- hubby loved the large portions! Patio seating was super comfy. Could have stayed for the chairs, honestly, don't know why more patios don't have furniture like that. It's the small details 🤣. Staff were excellent, professional and friendly. Very laid back, comfy atmosphere with class. I have some dietary restrictions, was able to find some plates and asked for no cheese. Perfectly accomodated and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the appetizer sampler plate, steak tips and egg noodles and a Mexican combination plate. Highly recommend all three, hands down.

Came here around 9pm for a few drinks and got an appetizer as well. I got the Charlie Brown Sampler; everything is fried, and totally delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. For my drink I ordered a whiskey cranberry, a little on the weak side. The ambiance inside is phenomenal, my favorite part of my visit easily. The bar tender was prompt and friendly. There was a good group of people surrounding the piano, playing and singing some classic tunes, having a great time. I will definitely be going back!

Great atmosphere and so fun to sit with a drink at the piano with great music. This is my favorite place in Denver. Classic, drinks are great, if they had just a little bit better food but still edible, this place would be even more spectacular. But love it and go all the time! It’s like Cheers for Denver.

I went here for the first time recently with some girlfriends of mine. Such a fun environment and an awesome, historic building! The service was fast and attentive, food was great, and the pianist was so entertaining and enjoyable.

We were in town for a girl's getaway and stopped in here for dinner. So glad we did! The menu has a lot of variety. We had a Cobb Salad (huge) and Gyro sandwich, both of which were tasty. Good onion rings, too. Happy hour options are fun, limited to specific drinks, but we didn't mind that. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming. The live piano is a great touch. The best part of our visit was our waiter, Sam. He was very personable and really knows the menu. He made us feel welcome and comfortable.

Lively, fun place to go for dinner or just drinks. I did not try the food but the service was good. It was packed when I went. Seems like a good place to gather with a group of people. Large enclosed patio seating area as well. The ambiance is nice and has an old fashioned feel to it. Will definitely visit this place again!

Came here with some friends upon closing time and they let us come have a drink anyways! The piano player was super awesome! She let me sing a song with her! The service was awesome, even though my group was a bit rowdy, they were super nice about it. I’d come back again! They also have food and drink specials that are worth checking out!

Perfectly cooked NY strip. Friendly staff, prompt service. The salad was fresh and delicious. The soup was noticeably homemade. I would recommend this place for casual or date night.

My daughter was on a quest for chicken fried steak for brunch. I'm so glad we ended up here. It reminded me of Cheers. Beautiful dark wood and nice chairs and a bar that I am sure has heard some stories. My daughter loved her meal and I had to try the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly poached so kudos to the chef on that. We got there before the Sunday rush started coming in and I can imagine this busy during the week. I'm sure we will be back once my kiddo wants chicken fried steak again.

Went here for drinks, ordered our first round and it took 15 minutes to arrive, no food ordered. The second and third round were much faster. My guess is either the server was new or just forgot our order. Without that I probably would have given a five star. Did not get to experience the piano bar as we sat outside. Patio is nice

This is such a cool piece of Denver history. The pianist was fantastic and I really liked the atmosphere here. I went with my sister's bachelorrette group and enjoyed my experience. The food was good and reasonably priced. They have options for just about everyone.
