This place was easy to find, there was lots of parking in the back too. Old fashioned diner with fantastic service and fresh hot and tasty food. We both got The Handyman meal and it was delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. The entire meal was cooked perfectly.

One of the only manufactured diner’s shipped this far west with American classic fare. Great service, friendly staff, good food. Another Denver gem and must eat.

An absolute 💎. This place is everything you want in a diner. Super clean super friendly and the food is prepared perfectly as ordered. My waitress was a delightful way to start the day and the food was even better. 👌

Impressive, especially as old as it is, how clean. Great large parking lot. First time so just ordered basic steak & eggs, nice. Restroom inspection: very clean!!!

Excellent dishes. Attentive service. Decent pricing. Nostalgic seating and tables. Can be argued as best Diner in Denver.. up there with Petes Kitchen. Thanks for making a native proud. Chris L. - 12/13/22 Hello again me and my wife came into this establishment because its one of the cheapest breakfast restaurants around town. Everything was good other than the not so pleasant experience me and my wife had with one of the waitresses who mistakenly grabbed my unfinished plate and threw it straight in the trash. I am not thrilled at all with this experience and don't understand how we can have such a great experience the first time and such a disappointing experience the next time. If any owner or manager is reading this please tell your waitresses not to assume that someone is done with their food especially during inflation times. What a bummer.

I previously reviewed Davies’ Chuck Wagon, now with the new ownership in place I would like to give another honest opinion/ review. Of course, as expected the prices increased. They have new menus, jukebox (place is already small enough without adding a jukebox, good tunes though 🤣 ) and some flower pots out front. Now for the food, I tried something different instead of the #questforgreatsteakandeggs, the green chili omelette was good. Kat my waitress is always personable and always has a great attitude. Keep up the great work. I will give Davies another shot.

Davies Chuck Wagon is a real treat, old school diner at it's best!! The staff is engaged and fun. The food was incredible and made from scratch. It was obvious on my first visit some customers have been loyal for years snd now I am as well.

We had a late breakfast at Davies, had to visit for the memories. We first ate there in the '70s, and then occasionally over the decades when we came into the city from the mountains. I had breakfast tacos (corn tortillas and bacon) and they were tasty. Loved the hot green sauce they served on the side. Husband had biscuits and gravy, he said it was very good too. The server was excellent - very nice, friendly, efficient. The bathroom hasn't changed, still has the 1950s pink ceramic tile and sink.

The food was tasty with generous portions, and the prices were good. The place is very small, and is not a place for anyone who does not care for cramped quarters or being right next to other patrons. The server was very friendly and helpful until the diner became packed, and then I think she was overwhelmed and seemed to be the only person on the wait staff. Not once did she stop back to ask how we were doing or to even refill our coffee. We still left her a good tip because she was doing her best with all of the business she was covering.

We’ve been coming here for years! Was sad to see Tammy & Wayne had sold it. BUT! I had to write a review. Jennifer, the new owner is great, very hospitable & she’s doing a great job! Menu has a few changes but nothing drastic. Prices are still very reasonable, especially given costs have risen EVERYWHERE in the last few years! Solid, yummy, satisfying diner! If that’s what you’re looking for, it’s excellent!

The food was great. The staff was exceptional and attentive, maybe a little too attentive as our waitress took my husband's food before he was finished.

This lovely little diner is a gem! Any time I am in the area I make it a point to stop and eat, but I would go out of my way if the craving struck me. The food is fresh, and everything is delicious… although the Chicken and Waffles is the absolute best! It even keeps well for a leftover snack (if you happen to have anything left…)

Small little diner with well portioned meals that are tasty but not 5 star quality but that’s what makes it more affordable. Service was great!

Love the food. Prices are great. I love to sit out on the patio. This is my mom's favorite morning spot. We only go for breakfast.

I mean, whoa. If you have not dined here then you need to get moving because this place is delicious. The food is incredible. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my mind was blown. Not only was the chicken juicy and perfectly fried it was garnished so beautifully with fried sage leaves! My taste buds and tummy were happy. The only tough part about this amazing place is seating. This is a really small space. If you plan to dine on the weekend be prepared to get there early or wait a bit. I have not tried to dine on a week day but I assume since the food is so delicious they are probably just as busy. The servers are sweet and lovely with a lot of patience. My husband and I have decided this is diner would not be the best place to bring our small children since there is not a lot of space for high chairs and it can be very loud but that doesn't mean someone couldn't order their food to go. Thank you Davies Chuck Wagon for providing such amazing service and food!!!

I have driving by this iconic diner so many times wanting to stop. Like for years. Getting my tires down the street I found the opportunity. Whoa! This is a true diner with a chicken fried steak to prove it. Super friendly staff who accommodated my puppy on the patio quite nicely. This place is a new regular.
