Great little taste of the past without feeling sterilized or distant. It was fantastic being able to walk through the house as if I were a guest and not a tourist. Buy tickets online a day in advance or risk not getting in at all! Toilets are available at the register but not in the house itself, so plan accordingly. Gift shop was a fun little stop afterwards. If you wind up having to wait to get in (as we did) there's a comfy little local coffee shop at the end of the block where you can relax until your timed entry comes up.

I love the Titanic so this place was a MUST when I visited Denver. The house is really pretty, I was impressed by all the little details it had. I took so many pictures and a few videos but I couldn't get enough of the experience. I wish I had a house decorated like that haha. They have a little gift shop with a lot of cool stuff, I obviously got a bunch of cool things. Totally recommend if you're a fan.

Nice people and friendly people you see smiles everywhere nice antiques in the house nice to hear the history of the house like it cause is related to the titanic this museum is a lot of talk about it. You can explore the house on your own or with a group. Have nice experiences when I go. I have been going every year to see it since I move to Colorado in 1998. Will recommend to go see it.

This is such a fun historical place to visit! The staff and guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. They do have self guided tours and guided tours that will explain everything to you. The museum has two fantastic guides that are available to answer all your questions plus booklets, and information guides that explain lots of interesting information. We went on three floors plus in the basement. There’s a wonderful documentary about Molly Brown.

The Molly Brown House Museum is a lovely place to go if you are in Denver. The house is bigger than it looks and everything is kept nice and orderly. The displays and interior overall contain a combination of original and restored segments that leave the house almost exactly as it was when it was first built. My sister and I took the 1 hour tour so we could hear more about Margaret Brown, the former owner of the house and survivor of the titanic. It was nice to hear about someone with such a long and wonderful history and walking through the house gave us a great feeling of what kind of people lived in it. I'm not one for too much history compared to my sister, but even I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent inside. The house is beautiful and the little blurbs of information regarding everything in it is very useful. We thought we would spend about an hour here but ended up staying for four. It was an amazing experience and I hope to bring the rest of my family to come see it next time we visit.

Extremely cool piece of world history that found its direction to our nearby Denver history, the visit was somewhat full for the size of the house yet everything thing else was perfect. Pleasant gift shop and the local escort was phenomenal. Truly partook in our selves! Should be back once more.

The house is beautiful. She was such an amazing woman. There was so much to learn. We were there on the 110th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. They had extra exhibits. I recommend the audio tour but ask questions, the guides can give you even more info. They have reservations and timed entry.

Love love LOVED our time here! We didn’t want to leave, there was so much to look at and take in. The tour guides seem like they truly love what they do. And I had no idea how much of a badass Margaret Brown was! 😍👏🏼

I love when places offer a college student discount!! Molly Browns house self guided tour was good although I think more interaction with the house itself might help. They had boxes with information and items you could touch and a listening tour where your phone would talk you through things but it didn’t suit how I like to see museums. Other then that everything was great and I like the very unique items in the gift shop.

This museum was fun, informative and gave good insight into a distinct time in Denver's history and one of its upper class socialites. The tour took about an hour, even with us listening to the prerecorded information about each room. It is a quick little museum but worth the trip.

Lovely local Denver museum. Great history on Molly Brown. I wish they had more on the architect of the house William Lang!

I have visited this lovely house more than once. This time I took a docent tour, which lasted just about an hour. They also offer self-guided tours. The tour was educational and interesting. They have a really good gift shop in the carriage house. Parking is on the street and a little challenging but possible within a block or two.

The house is a beautiful historic place to visit. The staff and volunteers are amazing. They provide specific details about the house and Margaret Brown. As a native of Colorado, I highly recommend a visit and for those of you interested in her story as state visitors, please put this museum on your calendar while you visit Denver!

Absolutely loved my visit to the Molly House Museum! It's like stepping into history with well-curated exhibits. Super interesting and a must-see for anyone into history!

Really awesome to be able to walk through at your own pace. They had it all decorated up for Christmas! The guides are very informative. Only bad thing is parking. There is only street parking available, so plan on getting early hoping you get lucky or planning on walking a bit.

Super fun and informational. I learned a lot. Parking is a nightmare, so allow time to find a spot and walk to the house. Make sure to spend some time in the gift shop. We did the guided tour, and then we're able to wander around on our own.

We got free tickets to explore on our own through our library. I believe 7 county libraries participate. There are some really interesting artifacts to see. All the workers are knowledgeable and can answer questions. There are qr codes for self guided audio tours. Lots of text to read about different rooms. On the top floor there are laminated cards with questions about historical documents to test your critical thinking. Flip the card over for answers. The kitchen gadgets and one of the first washing machines were cool to see. Very limited handicap access. It's a residential street, so there's no handicapped parking either. They don't have a parking lot. Street parking is very limited. Across the street parking is reserved for different businesses with the risk of tiring, so plan to arrive early and walk. Inside there are also lots of stairs to access 4 floors. They are still doing timed entry tickets.

Loved the tour! Bought tickets in advance for a tour of the house and life of Molly Brown. Guide was amazing and clearly passionate about the Brown family. Would highly recommend. There are some cute shops a couple streets over so you can easily spend an afternoon in the area and grab lunch. They also had some unique gift store items. Got a really cute pair of tea cup earrings.

The museum was well put together and thoughtful but the tour model felt outdated. The lighting of the house was very dark. The gift shop had a nice selection of artwork. Tours occur about every 30 mins and its reccomended you schedule in advance

Loved it!! Besides the awesome historical aspect the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly and just added to the overall experience. The self guided tour was fantastic and provided so much information. The gift shop is amazing. Remember to bring a water bottle as it can get HOT, but I thought of it as being immersed in the experience that Molly and family would have on a summer day.

This museum was so much fun. I learned a lot about the unsinkable Molly Brown from the Titanic. It was really cool to learn about her life in Denver after the sinking of the Titanic. I'm going to look for her book that she wrote about what really happened on the Titanic.

It was close to my hotel so I gave it a try. I've been to several small house museums, and unfortunately, this one is my least favorite. If you re interested in Titanic, it might be worth it, but otherwise, you could skip this one. The bathroom is out of the main building, so you have to get out and wait for someone to open the door again. It was very inconvenient to me. None of the artworks really impressed me. Especially, none of the paintings were interesting to me because I thought they might have some good paintings also. The staff were very nice and helpful, though. Admission price, which was $16, feels a little pricy to me for what they offer you.

Fantastic experience! Visit the beautiful house and museumshop of Margaret (Molly) Brown, Titanic survivor and political activist in the historic district near State Capitol in Denver Colorado. Book a guided tour or a selfguided audio tour with your phone. And don't forget to book a guided walking tour through the historic district with amazing stories of all the beautiful houses, that takes 1,5 hour. The same day (10.15-11.45 a.m.), or another day! ($ 18 in 2022)

Very cool piece of world history that found its way to our local Denver history, the tour was a little full for the size of the house but everything thing else was great. Nice gift shop and the tour guide was excellent. Really enjoyed our selves

It’s a beautiful house with a lot of history. I was a bit disappointed I didn’t get to see ghost cat but it’s a reason to return. The tour guide seemed very knowledgeable and welcoming. The gift shop has a lot of cute items including ghost cat shirts for sale.

If you really want to know who Margaret Brown was then a trip to the museum is worth the stop when visiting Denver. I definitely learned the movie The Unsinkable Molly Brown was not a true depiction of who she was and all that she did to help and support people. A lot of great information can be read on your own or you can choose to have a guided tour. Whatever your choice you will be inspired by her life.

Although I wasn’t able to go inside because it was there annual cleaning. It was still very cool to see the house from the outside. It was very easy to find, and it is in a safe and clean neighborhood.

A fabulous museum dedicated to an amazing woman. It feels like you have stepped back in time when you walk in. You can opt for a self guided tour or tour guide. We opted for self guided. There was lots of information of Molly Brown and her family. It was great to see and feel like it had been left just as she had left it. Very much worth a visit. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My first time here. Nice place to go visit if you want to know a bit more about one of the Titanic survivors. The admission if you are not a Colorado resident is $16 per adult which I thought it was a bit pricey.

I’ve always been a big fan of Titanic as a kid and thought this would be a good experience to get back into again. I was wrong. This was an exceptional experience not just about Titanic, but about her incredible fight for women’s rights, her position in politics and keeping her family together through some really trying times. I got to know more than just “the unsinkable Molly”. Her name was Margaret. I like that name better.

We were excited to see this museum in our Google maps. It does not disappoint. The care and detail of the restoration was amazing. There is a great self guided tour and staff members who are willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend this as a tour stop in Denver.

It's definitely a nice place, but the admission fee is expensive. I was lucky enough to get free admission using my Lewisville library card. 1 hour is enough.

My Mom and I stopped in for a tour and learned about Molly Brown and her life's journey. Yes she was a guest on the Titanic, but she was also a champion of local life and development in Denver. The house is well preserved with artifacts from her time spent in the house while telling her story. We enjoyed learning about her activism in the local communities and the effects of it today. If you are a history buff, or just looking to learn a little more about one person's life in Denver, check out the Molly Brown house!

A piece of history to experience by viewing the inside of a famous rich figure’s home. Most Items in home are not original but I think the museum does a great job in having antiques that replicate what the brown family would have owned. I believe the piano is original.

Had the best volunteer lady at the door ever! She knew so much about the Molly Brown House. It was absolute pleasure spending the time talking with her. I unfortunately don’t remember her name, she was blond and Roughly in her 50’s. So much information on a woman that survived the titanic, fought for woman rights to vote. Helped set up homes for others. Information about mining too. Fabulous pieces of art. Which some of them really need to tell you the story about where they came from. They are beautiful and even more powerful showcasing the beauty of different cultures and strength of love through the arts.

I had reciprocity membership, military, and paid for a resident and 2 more adults. Admission is somewhere between $15-$24, I think? Current on website. Tours are timed. Guided tours in the morning (definitely recommend this over self-guided!) And then self guided in the afternoon. I had been on the tour before and was looking forward to sharing it with my girls... but my sister said my phone was too loud and I had to watch all of them and I couldn't do that and talk with staff 🙄. My brother, who used to volunteer his summers here, didn't say a word or share any tidbits 😥. So, if you can, especially if you have more than you plus one and you don't all have bluetooth or earphones... get the guided tour- they are more fun!

It was nice. We did a self guided tour. Took our time while taking lots of cool pictures. I was soooo excited when I saw a hat box that was the exact same as the one I bought at a Goodwill in West Palm Beach Fla! It was just a different color.. Visiting the Molly Brown House Museum was definitely the highlight of my trip to Denver.

We attended the Victorian Horrors, which was a lot of creepy fun. The actors were amazing, as were the story choices. We definitely want to come back to tour the house. I think everything was organized so well, and the tarot reader was a splendid touch. Thank you to all who put this together ❤️

Delightful home lovingly restored to the early 1900s that gives a hint of society life in Denver during the life of Molly Brown. There is an excellent self-paced audio tour. Excellent gift shop too with Titanic and suffragette related items. Very helpful staff too. A real highlight of my visit to Denver.

Eck! I've loved Molly brown since I was 5, so getting to explore her mansion was a dream come true and then some. The architecture is magnificent, and the way the Browns decorated their home to reflect not only where their fortune came from, but to also reflect their travels. The home has a sweet smell coming from the kitchen too. It's a look into Molly Brown, the Titanic, events surrounding it's famous sinking and around that era. History of over a hundred years back. If you ever go to Denver Colorado I suggest checking out this slice of history.
