Just had a photo shoot here and it was one of the best parks I have been to in a while! Super clean, lots of trees and grass areas! The people there are not as friendly, but if you look at the park, it’s definitely worthwhile to go and sit by the creek or read a book on the hills! *lots of dogs on a walk *easy to walk around (ADA friendly) *lots of benches

Such a beautiful trail right in the heart of the city. A smaller creek meets the river and there is separate paths for biking and walking that go up and down both the river and creek. Great way to walk into town

Beautiful park with hiking and biking trails at the confluence of Platte River and Cherry Creek. You can see the brownish creek water joining the clearer river. Easy walking paths, mostly flat but with some stairs and pota-potty

Talk about a great oasis in the middle of a busy and big city. Being able to see the river and have its sounds mask all of the sounds of the city was a really enjoyable treat on our day out on the town. If you are in the area and you need a little break definitely come check this out. Lots of great places to sit and a nice place to contemplate.

A lovely walk, a bit chilly by the water, but lovely. Just be careful of the bikes zooming around:)

Beautiful little park! I LOVE rushing water and this is a super unique park at the confluence of two rivers and countless pedestrian and bike paths. I would highly recommend this park during your time in Denver!

This wasn’t a planned stop but my family and I found it when googling things to do nearby. We walked through and loved taking in the sights. I even stopped to dip my toes in the water to cool off. This is a great park I would definitely spend more time in it if I was a local. A great find on a day of exploring.

We were looking for a place to just hang out and chill and this park provided that for us. The river was very nice and calming and the kids playing in the water made it a fun thing to watch. I imagined if my kids grew up here we would also partake in river activities. If i ever visit Colorado again I would definitely come back here and chill for a little while.

This is so beautiful! It needs to be a must-see for visitors. It's located at the confluence of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River which is where the first settlement was located. There are several walkways and places to sit with wonderful views and places to go right to the river. It's a very historic area.

Wasn't planning to stop here and I just stumbled upon this hidden gem! Nice area with places to sit and enjoy the view of the water. The cascades are gorgeous and the walkways are clear with beautiful murals as well. If I had more time in Denver, I'd spend a whole day here!

This is a fun spot when they have concerts and events here. We came during Earth Day and got the VIP tickets buy one, get one free. So many cute dogs around.

Come on down for Cross Currents mid-summer! Great time with good bands, beers, and plenty of activities to keep the group entertained. Also a great place outside of planned events to walk along the water in a rather land-locked city. Enjoy the warmth of summer and the cold currents during winter!

Lovely park, really love riding scooters along the bike trail and then finding somewhere to sit and watch the river and enjoy a picnic or sunset or just getting a little slice of nature even in the middle of the city. Always lots of people around which is nice!

Good park for bicycling, walking, and pets. There are a ton of paths and many places to get down to the river. I wouldn't recommend it as much for chilling with the family as there are so many people moving through on one form of transportation or another. That being said there are places off the paths to rest in the shade (if they aren't already taken).

Beautiful park to come enjoy the nice weather. Lots to do and see in the surrounding areas as well. Here are a few drone shot photos from my visit there.

This is a really nice part of town. Went for a walk this morning. On the riverfront, nice trails, clean. People enjoying themselves, and dogs having a blast.

This park is a gem for urbanites. On one side, you can see the Empower stadium amidst the mountain ranges. On the other side lives the buildings that make up downtown Denver. During the day, you’ll see plenty of walkers, joggers, and bikers perusing the park. This park is also a key connection point to important trails such as Cherry Creek and South Platte River trails.

Nice park with some great walking trails. Plenty of people out and about, lots of stuff nearby as well. A slice of nature in the heart of the city.

We enjoyed our time in the Park. We had shopped at REI & came out to soak up the sun & atmosphere for a bit. The view is beautiful & relaxing. There was something happening everywhere you look. Families down at the river playing in the water; bikers & hikers swiftly going by on the various trails; others like us meandering around just enjoying the sun & each other! Really nice!

It’s a great area for enjoying a nice day and the improvements are amazing but a little useless for water you shouldn’t get in. They have a few (not enough) signs warning of ecoli but people still swim, kayak etc. so I don’t know how bad it is since I haven’t actually heard of anyone getting it. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend walking around there at night even though I’ve never had anything happen to me but to people I know have been robbed.

Lots of dogs playing in the summer! The water isn’t always clean and sometimes has a smell. But this is a nice park to relax and enjoy the city.

This is one of my favorite places in Denver. The views of the river and buildings is great, and there are tons of places to go and things to do nearby. I ride my bike here all the time and its always an enjoyable experience. There are several trails you can use for walking/running/biking, and they are all well kept and managed. I recommend visiting this place if you are in the area!

My favorite spot in Denver. Came here every day of my trip. Grab a boba tea and chill, put your trunks on and hop in the water, or rent a scooter and motor down the bike path. Gorgeous.

The Cherry Creek bike trail from The Pinery in Parker to Confluence Park is a great route to get a 69 mile ride in.
