Denver Botanic Gardens is one of the most beautiful gardens I have been to! The gardens are stunning, unique and very well maintained throughout the year. The staff and volunteers are extremely kind and helpful. They also have delicious food and drinks that you can enjoy inside the garden. I also highly recommend the Halloween and Holiday light shows they have in the fall and winter. A lovely place to visit anytime of year!

I absolutely love Denver Botanic Gardens! The architecture in the park combined with the different plants and flowers is stunning. It is one of my favorite places to photograph in Denver. They have several different wedding spots, and are true pros at helping you set everything up for the day! If you love plants, color and landscape design this is a great place for your wedding!

First timers and we (my children and I) LOVED it! This place is huge and we didn't get to see everything because it was very hot out. We stayed for about 2 hours and had so much fun and saw so much beauty!!! There is indoor areas and a small art museum. They even have a library and a small art shop. They have a Cafe and everyone is so kind. We had a picnic and yes you can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.

Awesome botanical gardens. Easy access to most areas. Many volunteers pruning and caring for the grounds. Very well kept areas. The Lilly ponds are fabulous. The only disappointment was the science pyramid was closed for some technical issue and never reopened. We were told to return in an hour and when we did it was still closed off. This was of major interest to us. Hopefully the next trip to Denver we will return to visit the science pyramid and visit the vortex. Overall it was several hours of relaxation.

Parking is limited in the complementary parking lot across the street. So plan to spend some time finding parking. We visited on a weekend evening to see the blossom of the lights. Walking through a well directed path and there were plenty of staffs who were ready to assist with a smile. Our kids really enjoyed the lights. Overall, it is a great place for spending few hours with the kids and family.

Parking is easy, staff is super friendly! You can purchase tickets online for easy check in when you arrive. Cute gift shop and a few different spots for a coffee or a bite to eat. Very nice to walk through and enjoy the many different garden, plants and flowers. Beautiful place!

Denver Botanic Gardens are well priced and a great way to spend the day with friends, family, or a date! It's so pretty here, and there is a lot of ground to cover. Big bonus for the Chihuly glass sculpture in one of the gardens.

I am new to Denver and just recently been able to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens. Once during the fall event and again during the Christmas lights. I love that they sell tickets for time slots so you are able to enjoy the gardens without the huge crowds but purchase early because they sale out quickly but all is totally worth it. I went during the day for fall and the fall colors were on fire. Night time for the Christmas lights was absolutely gorgeous! There is a free parking garage. Staff is amazingly friendly and promise a good time. I highly recommend a visit!

Awesome botanical garden. Worth the trip and often easy to get cheap tickets. I think bank of America gives free tickets once a month to card holders. Fun day to spend our go on a date. You can even bring your own food for a picnic which is one of my favorite things to do there. Plus cheese man park is next door so you get two awesome activities in one.

We went on a Friday and there were no crowds, but still other folks walking around. For a $15 ticket there are so many beautiful things to see!! We went through the gardens, the orchid rooms, the gallery rooms and the greenhouses. Such a variety and lots of places to sit and take it all in. Would 100% recommend setting aside a few hours to walk through and see what they have

The best thing I did in Denver. Highly recommend this space. One of the most diverse and beautiful gardens in the world! Large space, make sure to walk around it all. It should take a few hours.

We came in early spring so there were not too many blooms. The tropical plants were amazing. The science pyramid was good for kids. The landscaping is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the moongates and their description. It was very picturesque even without everything in bloom

This is the second time that I have come here over the past two years. Definitely better to come in the summer, fall, or spring. It’s always a great experience coming here. The staff is incredibly nice and is willing to go out of there way to make our experience perfect.

Love visiting whenever I get the chance. I took a stroll recently with visiting family and had a wonderful time. The selection of flowers and plants is amazing and so diverse. There's always so much to look at. I usually take about 3 hours in the gardens but you could easily go through it in a little more than an hour. It was crowded when I last visited but you could only tell in the cafe and other indoor areas. Its never too bad though. The whole place is super clean and all the workers are nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area

Art and plants blend into this special place. Various exhibition halls related to natural plants, whether indoors or outdoors, are amazing everywhere. The arched-back tropical plant pavilion makes people feel like they are in the tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia. The orchids in the orchid pavilion are so beautiful and unforgettable.

Beautiful and meticulously maintained, the Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street is a great place to visit. For plant enthusiasts or those that love the outdoors, they have 24 acres of gardens of all varieties. They even have a very large indoor tropical conservatory that is fun to explore. They do have on site food/restaurant and events are held at the gardens year round and hold classes as well with events listed online. Masks are encouraged in indoor spaces. Most gardens and facilities are wheelchair or stroller accessible but not all. Tickets should be purchased online prior to arrival. There is ample free parking in the parking garage.

I had my wedding at the Woodlands Mosaic last week, and it was such a dream! Everything was so lush and green, the gardens staff was so kind and helpful to me and my wife, and all of our guests! There were endless spots for photo opportunities, and they even allowed us a room for me to change into my wedding dress! Completely surpassed my expectations. A special thank you to Macey Hirsch, my event planner through the botanic gardens, she was so kind and helpful to work with, I had complete faith that everything would go well in her hands. I completely recommend this place for any event, or even just a visit when you find yourself in Denver, it is definitely a highlight! Thanks to the gardens team, you guys completely surpassed our expectations.

This is a wonderful place to visit with the family, a first date or just to get out of the house. Has wonderful and exotic plant life. As well as different bug species and types. There are so many attractions inside and out for adults and kids. Also has a library where you can purchase books. Families and kids would love it here.

One of my favorite places to visit! Absolutely stunning in every way and continues to get larger and more beautiful every time that I visit. Their Holiday Lights are top-notch (Blossom of Lights) and if you’ve never been I highly encourage you get tickets in advance as they sell out quickly so you can visit one of the best Holiday Light Exhibits in Colorado! My sister actually recently got married here on 11/11/23 and they did a great job setting up her wedding and the staff was helpful and accommodating from start to finish!! 10/10.

I had such a lovely time here at the gardens! When my friend and I came here, I thought we would only spend an hour and a half at most. We ended up staying for three hours and was able to get lunch and coffee here! The plants here are phenomenal and breathtaking. I have not felt more at peace than being here. We also saw so many pollinators here like honey bees and butterflies! This is definitely a must place to visit in the Denver area.

We first arrived at about 10:00 and the parking was completely full. Because we bought the city pass we didn’t have to get any tickets or anything. I don’t remember exactly what happened but we had to call them and the employee was very friendly and helped us. We came back at around 12 and were able to find a parking space. It was well worth the wait, a humid tropical greenhouse and many colorful flowers. It was very accommodating for people in wheelchairs and all the signs also had a translation in Spanish. If you do visit be sure to bring sunscreen, water, and good walking shoes. The gift shop was also nice (didn’t get any pictures, it was very crowded) perfect place for pictures, a date, or just a place to go with the family. Also warning there’s a ton of bees

Great and beautiful place to visit. Well done and several sections. Overwhelmed with all the different species they have. Several shared areas and plenty of places to rest. Great place to visit over and over again. You can reserve your time online to make sure you get in. The free parking is limited but people are coming and going so we got a spot easily. Make sure to bring a cap and water since a lot of walking. We could see they are doing a concert series.

The gardens are gorgeous! There were quite a bit of people when we visited, but it didn’t feel crowded. There were a lot of shades and places that were cooler in the middle of July. The gift shop has a unique collection of merchandise to choose from. The staff in the ticket booth and the gift shops are super nice too. Would recommend to visit!

Always a peaceful place to spend an afternoon enjoying nature in all its glory. Serenity emanates from the Denver Botanic Gardens and I have found it to be a perfect place to unwind, take a stroll, read a book, or just sit and think. So many magical types of plant life exist in one space. I love exploring. Also, since it’s addition, I have continually applauded the truly perfect placement of a Dale Chihuly glass sculpture. Bravo!

Amazing place to spend the day. So many different areas with unique plants, flowers, and displays. While most are outdoors, there's several indoor areas if you want to get out the sun. Nice combination of using both floral and water gardens. The different gardens are Gardens of the West, International Gardens, Ornamental Gardens, Shady Gardens, and Water Gardens. You can easily spend a few hours just walking between the different gardens. Regardless of preference, age, physical ability, there's plenty to see here. The gardens are so large, there was never any crowded areas.

Peaceful morning amongst a wide variety of plants, flowers and creatures. Nice outing for all ages. We spent 2 hours here. Sat at various benches throughout the grounds to ensure we took time to enjoy. Visited all the buildings too. Highly recommend this reasonably priced garden and gift shop.

How fun was this place?! $15 a person which almost felt like a steal because the woman who checked us out was so excited for us to be there! They decorated for Halloween which was awesome because they had clever punny tombstones and a ski inspired skeleton scene. There’s lots to see and different themed areas, they even had lights and skeleton decorations throughout. I wish we could’ve come at night to see everything illuminated but we went in the afternoon and still had a great time!

One of my favorite places in Denver! I love strolling through the various flora, desert, and tropic. They have two restaurants that are equally delicious. However, the lines can be long and winding on the weekends. The annual membership is so worth it if you live in Denver For $65, I can take another person in every time I go, and I also get three guest passes to give out at any time of the year. The light show during the winter holidays was magnificent, and I look forward to going again this year.

Absolutely stunning. The Gardens are well maintained, lots of wildlife living here. I went towards the end of the season and it was still breathtaking so I cannot image what it looks like when everything first springs. Highly recommend making sure you make time to go into the greenhouse! Family friendly experience!

Denver Botanic Gardens was on our “things to do” in Denver. Such a beautiful and peaceful space. I have special love for orchids! 😍 It was a great experience to see an abundance of beautiful flowers and plants from all over the world. You can easily spend hours exploring the gardens. There was Ghosts in the Gardens - Open Air Scare for Halloween celebration. 🎃 Pretty cool. Loved the history in the Japanese Garden, seeing the Bonsai trees was magical. We went on a weekday so parking was not an issue. We enjoy visiting botanical gardens all over the world and this one didn’t disappoint!

I went around end of Spring and enjoyed every part of the gardens. The cactus room, bonsai garden, and herb area were so wonderful. All the water fountains and ponds gave the place a peaceful, beautiful vibe. I recommend checking out the cafe as well.

Went to the gardens for their Blossom of lights during Christmas & it was amazing. I see why they sell out fast. The lights were so beautiful, oh and make sure to get the hot chocolate it was very yummy. Hope to go back the next time I visit during Christmas.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stroll around! We came here around 10:30am and it was already bustling. There's plenty of free parking and if you bought a ticket online, you can skip the ticket booth. We enjoyed seeing the different flowers, the Japanese pavilion and the bonsai trees. Absolutely a gem of a place and you can really feel the love and care poured into these gardens. Highly recommend a visit!

This a beautiful botanic garden filled with all different plants and vegetation. There is even a Japanese garden that’s very beautiful and peaceful. You can spend a few hours checking out all the different areas of plants, ponds, greenhouses and little paths. It is a really nice escape from the pace of the city. There are a couple of places to grab a coffee or tea to sip on while meandering around and plenty of places to sit and watch the fish, ducks and rabbits. Also, this is a great place for an event like a wedding or party because the event spaces are very nice.

Absolutely breathtaking garden! Looking at the different breeds of flowers was absolutely an amazing experience. The area was so beautiful with so many different subdivisions of different kinds of plants. There is so much to look at—it is important to dedicate a day to here in order to see everything. Loved also the little exhibits that were not “garden” related — the art was also very stunning. Parking can get a little full on the weekends but love that it was free and extensive.

The Denver Botanic Gardens was a great place to visit - even in the winter when not much is growing. They accept reciprocal memberships from other gardens across the country as well. The conservatory was a great retreat for warmth and to experience beautifully blooming plants. The art galleries were a nice addition as well. Artfully running streams and other water features masked the sounds of the surrounding city. The gift shop is also top notch!

I absolutely loved my visit to the gardens! I grabbed a delicious latte from one of the cafes and enjoyed walking around. I was in a time crunch, and I was still able to view the majority of the gardens in under an hour. I would recommend an hour and a half or two hours if you want to take your time, or if you have children. There were many different sections of the garden, each unique and beautiful. Next time I'm in Denver I will definitely be going again!

The Denver Botanic Gardens is an absolute gem for families looking to enjoy the heat or enjoy a cool day out. My family and I had a fantastic time there, surrounded by beautiful greenery and diverse plant life. Whether it's scorching hot or pleasantly cool, this place offers a refreshing break and a chance to unwind. For anyone new to Denver or traveling through, I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful oasis. It's a perfect spot to soak up some fresh air and simply enjoy the day.

Hands down one of the best botanical gardens in the nation! Bonsai trees at Japanese garden and greenhouse are a must. Also recommend stopping by gift shop - found some unique decor pieces while poking around in the back room

The gardens are nicely laid out with a wide variety of ecosystems represented. My favorite was the water gardens. They are already in the process of setting up the Holiday lighting in the garden. Bistro dining was a good option, but prepare for long lines at lunch time.

  • 5/5 Shemi D. 8 months ago on Google
Wow what a beautiful place! Friendly and welcoming staff! The gardens are broken up into different areas. There’s so much to see the water lilies were definitely my favorite! absolutely beautiful. You Can probably go through all of the gardens with leisure walk in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We didn’t make it indoors.

This place is a must if you’re a plant or flower lover. We’ve been here multiple times over the years and it never gets old. It’s a great place if you want to spend a beautiful Colorado day outside enjoying nature. There’s a great variety of plants there and it’s just so beautiful. The paths are easily accessible and easy to walk for kids. There’s a small cafe there as well that has some lunch items that you can sit and enjoy while admiring the flowers and trees around you. I really like that they also include cultures and backgrounds of plants in their displays. The little shop is also pretty neat! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a way to spend a day out in Denver.

First visit. Amazing and beautiful. Worth every penny. So much to see that it's impossible to tell you. There are different themed sections, and each one is obviously created with much thought and care. There are plenty of benches and seats where you can rest and soak it in. And I'm sure it's different every month. I love it. I could go every day.

  • 5/5 Shanan Z. 10 months ago on Google
I loved these botanical gardens. Visiting from a different area of the country, I really loved seeing the difference in ecosystems and plant life. Near the end of May, there were so many irises in bloom, which are some of my favorite flowers. The indoor tropical section was a fun touch, and the bonsai tree area and Japanese garden too. I think we spent three hours here and honestly I'm still not sure if we saw everything. Definitely a must-visit when in Denver!

  • 5/5 Alex 10 months ago on Google
The gardens are really beautiful, you can definitely spend a lot of time here but you can also see everything within an hour and a half if you’ve got other things to do in the city. They have a cafe on site that you can visit, I didn’t try it because the line was super long. There were a couple of areas closed off since they’re renovating, but there was still plenty to see. There’s also a learning building that is interactive and more geared towards kids, so I think it’s a great place to bring kiddos. The gift shop has a lot of cool items as well!

  • 5/5 Kylah P. 9 months ago on Google
Every time we visit the gardens, there is so much wonderful stuff to see! From roses, to water lilies, to the lovely Japanese garden, the variety of plant life is truly incredible. There are plenty of shady benches to rest on, and although it is busy on the weekends, it doesn't seem overwhelming. The gift shop always has unique & interesting products that are as fun to look at as the flowers. We are members of the Botanic Gardens & we absolutely love coming here year-round.

  • 4/5 Jackie B. 1 year ago on Google
The lily pond was absolutely stunning! It’s best around mid-late July, so I recommend that time of year. The rest of the garden is also lovely. It’s less of a rose bushes and tulip lanes type garden, and more beautiful manicuring and full green plants type garden. Parking is extremely easy, and the garden is quite wheelchair friendly.
