We visited Denver during the summer vacation and wanted to have variety of activities for the kids. We heard a lot of good reviews from friends who live in Denver about the Children's Museum, and it didn't disappoint. There were so many activities for both kids, age 8 and 4. My son spent a good hour in the tool shop place making his own creation. My daughter loved the kitchen area where she get to cook. The bubbles area kept both of them playing for quite some time. It was also a beautiful day so we spent some time outside in the obstacle course. Both kids enjoyed it so much. We spent over 3 hours, but you could spend the entire day there. My recommendation is to make the trip worth it and make sure you leave yourself plenty of time so they can experience everything. We actually didn't get to do all of the activities because we were on a tight schedule. I had my camera with me and took some beautiful picturesque landscapes of the city skyline and the stadium. The view was was so peaceful. I would definitely return if I ever visit Denver again.

When I was growing up it was down on Santa Fe Blvd. This place is epic compared. The new baby section is wonderful and relaxing. I was blown away by the outdoor area, sledding and more. All my grandchildren enjoyed themselves and were dead tired after so money well spent. Will definitely recommend and be returning

This place is incredible!! There is so much to explore and learn! Great for a wide range of ages as well. I definitely recommend taking your little ones to play and exhaust themselves before nap time any day. I was impressed with the exhibits, and I look forward to what will change with the spring season. The winter snow days exhibit was awesome- especially this year since we have had no measurable snow to play. We will be returning soon.

Such an awesome museum! Everything is super interactive and hands-on. There are activities for kids of all ages here. The exhibits include: Firetruck, Electric, Books, Building, Bubbles, and a huge outdoor play area! A day well spent here! There is a small giftshop inside and a cafe area, too.

The Children’s Museum is incredible! There are so many engaging areas. I have a toddler who loves to make the rounds from the full sized Firetruck to bubbles and water he enjoys the full tour. There is an art exhibit and a physics portion complete with fun orange balls to shoot up pneumatic tubes. The water and sand pit outside are also really awesome to burn off energy. We like to dress him in water clothes so he can take advantage of the sensory play outside! Its a really nice option to have a membership on hot summer days. They also have several cool physical activities for older children including an adventure climbing park. Highly recommend for many different ages!

Great family fun and well design children’s museum that can grow with your kids. Few tips: - there are art, bubble and water activities so dress in clothes that can get messy and bring a change of clothes -they have a neat tool area to build what ever the kids can think of. The tool are real FYI - they have a snack bar and toy shop on site - the first floor has two rooms appropriate for about 18 months and under. One is scheduled to be renovated by late summer 2023. - during warmer weather they have an outdoor area with water features, sand box, games and adventure land for bigger kids. - during the winter this are turns into a winter themed outdoor play area, so always be prepared to go outside:) - lastly on the second floor is a semi private nursing station for breastfeeding moms there are also locations throughout you could duck into if needed

We had our wedding here and it was INCREDIBLE! First of all the museum events coordinator Ryan Ting is the nicest & most wonderful person you’ll ever meet! He made the day so fun! Our night was fully staffed & our guests had so much fun!!! They helped put everything together so we didn’t have to think about anything! Such a fun night and our guests couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you Ryan and team!

Sooo much color and interaction. Lots of learning for ALL AGES!!! There are activities and an outdoor playarea. I'm sure there's a ton more, I'm not writing about. Sorry. The Littles needed naps and Grandma couldn't check it all out. Go!!! Go!!! Go!!! There's an Annual Family Membership. I think it's $200.00?? Well worth it!!

It was our first visit to the Children’s museum of Denver & we absolutely loved it! Our boys (10, 7, 5.5) had a great time at the museum and the different exhibits! Their fav was the ‘ bubbles’ exhibit and it was truly so much fun! The younger boys enjoyed the ‘water’ exhibit as well. The ‘kinetics’ was another favorite of everyone! The assembly point was a big hit with the kids too! The art studio was another fun area and we had so much fun creating different things out of clay and also paint and do some art! There’s so much to do for the kids & we easily spent 3.5 hours there! They would have stayed for another hour too! 😅 The outside play area is a great place with lots of good options for kids! The zip line is a favorite! The ‘adventure forest’ outside looked like a super fun place but it was unfortunately closed during our visit! Overall it was a fun experience with the kiddos and I do know they would like to visit again!

Loved it! I have a son 6, and a daughter 2, and there was so much for them to do, I don't think we even saw it all in the 3 hours we were there. I was worried about how many people would be there on a Sunday but it didn't seem crowded. My son is already asking me when we're going back. Tip: make sure you take a change of clothes or fast drying, my kids both ended up soaked from the outside water and the inside water experience. We used the EBT discount and got in for $1 per person.

The Children’s museum is one of our kids favorites. The entire museum is interactive. My kids love the Peter Pan like obstacle course the best. In the winter their favorites are the wood shop and the engineering area with the balls. Love having a season pass.

We were visiting from out of state and needed to entertain a toddler for a day without breaking the bank (in comparison to other activities in the area). This was overall a success, we came around noon on a Friday and it was extremely busy with a school group over taking the entire area in a loud and obnoxious manner. However, after they moved on the experience in each exhibit was much more enjoyable. The toddler was entertained for hours, we stayed until it closed and we were kicked out. Would definitely recommend going if you need endless hours of entertainment.

Run.....to buy your season pass! It is good for a fiscal year. From a firetruck, to a kitchen, to learning about the water cycle, to art, to climbing, to a workshop (with real saws, clamps and hammers), to bubbles and SO much more - watch the wheels turn literally but also figuratively in your child's mind. We stayed here for 3 hours and that was not long enough. High recommend: a change of clothes, sunscreen, drinks for every one and that you pack a lunch. The latter would have saved us from leaving too early and many seasoned museum pros already have this note in their back pocket. They do have a market for food, it just was not what we were looking for the day we went. At some point your child WILL get wet, unless you avoid all the water areas. Great inside and out, depending on the weather, but nevertheless, year round fun to be had! Try the fresh lemonade, with lime. Once you enter, most everything is free....except the extra, extras (like the lemonade). Parking was okay when we first arrived, but quickly turnes into crazniess. Explore, explore, explore!

This place is amazing! Not only do we have a family membership, but we have hosted 2 events in their event space and both have been spectacular! I love Ryan, the coordinator, and we have had such great feedback from the guests!

What a fantastic place! I would say it was magical, but it is a science museum. I’m glad we had brought an extra pair of clothes for our 4 year old. We got a bit wet in the Water Section. The bubble section was my personal favorite, and the fire truck was probably my sons favorite! Thank you for the great memories!!

-Very crowded. Hard to enjoy each space. Parents take over the space more than the kids do. -Field trips take over spaces. Had 5 buses unload as we tried checking in. -Bubble room took away air pumps and put in mouth blowing pieces. Machine on wall has not worked the last few visits we have made. My kids favorite thing. -Water space was very slippery this time.

We're museum fanatics and this is one of the coolest ones we have ever experienced. There is so much to do, we came back two days in a row. The staff is amazing, especially the teachers of the cooking class.

We are from out of state and love childrens museums at where we live. So, wanted to check If out here and let the kids have fun for some hours. All the sections were great but my kids loved the bubble and kinetics sections the most. The outdoor area is a such a plus! We enjoyed it a lot!

The Bloom Room at the Denver Children's Museum is a magical wonderland for tiny explorers (newborns to 36 months). Nestled within, soft textures abound with plush mats and cuddly toys, creating a cozy haven for crawling, rolling, and snuggling. Gentle sounds and muted lighting weave a peaceful atmosphere, while projected flowers bloom on the walls and dappled light filters through colorful leaves, sparking curiosity in little eyes. Playful opportunities blossom everywhere – mirrors and mobiles encourage self-discovery, crinkly fabrics and textured toys invite tiny hands to explore, and cozy reading nooks nurture bonding and early literacy. Parents and caregivers find comfort in convenient nursing and changing facilities, comfortable seating to relax and watch, and a meticulously maintained environment that prioritizes safety and cleanliness. Overall, the Bloom Room is a must-visit for families with young ones. It's a haven for sensory exploration, calm discovery, and joyful development. Highly recommended! For an even more relaxed experience, consider visiting on weekdays or during off-peak hours.

Our non-profit schools hosted our first in-person fundraiser in many moons and Ryan with The Children's Museum was nothing short of INCREDIBLE to work with! We would recommend him, and The Children's Museum of Denver to absolutely everyone! If you are hosting a special event, please consider this venue. It was a magical experience for our community and our guests, and again - Ryan T. made the entire process SEAMLESS! A million thank you's to the Children's Museum staff for maintaining an incredible space in the heart of Denver.

Very cute and lots of fun for little minds. When we went the outside area was closed because it was the end of the winter season. We will come back soon to experience the climbing area outside. I appreciate the EBT/food stamp discount offered as well. It is helpful for large families or those who could otherwise not afford this fun place.

We are staying in Denver for the summer with our kids and wanted to visit the Children's Museum. We bought the family membership online since it pays for itself within 3 visits. Worth noting, you have to reserve your time in advance to guarantee entry. We brought our toddlers first and we were there for at least four hours. We came on a Sunday at about 10am and it was busy. With that said, there was never a point that our girls were having to wait to participate in an exhibit. Their favorite area was with the fire truck. The art area was really great and the price for having pieces fire-glazed is a fraction of the cost of other diy pottery places. The only thing we didn't do this time was the cooking class because we missed our window. My only complaint/meh is that the costumes felt cringey (vet and firemen costumes, esp the hats). Kids are prone to all the germs and we are in the middle of a covid surge so that felt questionable. We let them wear them anyway but some sort of self-sanitation spray would have been helpful. The parks were a happy surprise and very much appreciated after we had been inside, hands-on half the day. We also caught the Denver Trolley randomly (tickets came out to $17 for two adults and two kids), which was a really fun way to end the day.

Very cool museum (really it's a massive interactive playground) that allows your little monster to go wild! Highly interactive zones allow them to play with bubbles, water, art, wind, and beyond. Sadly there is a height minimum to get into the climbing areas, most notably is the beautiful thunder domes seen from I25.

We were in Denver visiting family several weeks ago and this was one of the places that was recommended for our 2 and 3 year old. They had a blast! This is a great place for children of all ages. I love how interactive everything is. There are so many things to see, touch and play with. Had we not been on a time limit, we could have spent all day here. We went on a Tuesday and it was busy but not to the point of where there were long lines and not enough room for everyone. They also have a huge outside area with swings and a jungle gym but our kids were too little to use them. They loved all of the different cars and trucks they could climb and "ride" on. It was warmer when we were there so I am not sure how the outside area is when it gets colder. This place is highly recommended for anyone visiting Denver with children... well, anyone with children in general. Time flies because there is so much to do.

Highly recommend stopping here if you have small children and are near Denver. My 3 year old could have stayed all day. There are so many activities and it is educational. We went in February and the play structure was closed for winter, but they had a sledding hill with real snow. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.

We always have a blast and my kids always love going. Reservations are now needed. There are lots of fun events throughout the year. There are also several ways to get a discount on tickets. Plan at least a few years but you can easily spend the day. Pack a lunch and have a picnic.

Easily one of the best children's museums we have ever been to. We are in the middle of a Texas to Idaho road trip and spent three hours here. If we were locals we would definitely buy a membership. So much to do. Only problem was soooo many people but it was raining and clearly this place is popular.
