This was an amazing experience!! Jeff knows what he's doing, is super friendly, and very professional. Unlike some balloon rides, he takes you out to see the local area while doubling as a tour guide. We were a little nervous at first as this was our first time riding in a balloon, but we would definitely go back. Only one other couple rode with us and we're great to go with. The ride was reasonably priced and Jeff and his crew were awesome to work with. We booked directly with him and he's the type of guy that wants to know why your riding so he can make the trip even more special. Since all the city balloons go up about the same time, it's neat to be with Rocky Mountain Balloon Rides because they are one of the first up so you can see others get up off the ground as well. We would highly recommend him.

Nice couple that ran this setup. They were prompt, explained everything well, and took excellent care of up before, during, and after the ride. It was our first time up and we are now hooked!

Jeff was fantastic! Very responsive. I called without even 24 hour notice and he got me on a balloon! I was in Colorado one more day and wanted to get on a ride the next day and he did so with such enthusiasm! You can tell he loves his job and his clients! I walked up and was greeted with a very excited “good morning Samantha!” I couldn’t have asked for a better pilot! He was very knowledgeable and just overall a great person to be around! He ended the flight with champagne and a little history of why champagne which I didn’t know! Would 100% recommend Jeff and his crew! If you’re thinking about it, just do it!!! You won’t regret it!

Outstanding experience from end-to-end. Jeff was friendly, responsive, professional, educating and caring. We felt completely safe, at ease and had so much fun while at it. At first, the weather didn't look favorable for our flight day but Jeff stayed in close touch for days with updates and relaying relevant info regarding our booking. If you want to ride a hot air balloon in the Denver area, definitely go with them. Thank you for making everything so smooth and easy for us (including the magical ride!) and for creating a wonderfully memorable highlight of our trip!

We were celebrating moving back to the US from Australia and luckily got to ride on the good ship Earth, Wind & Fire! Jeff is a great pilot and an all around nice guy and guide—- very engaging and fun. We had a rider who was a little afraid of heights, but Jeff put them at ease with his skill and easy going demeanor. It was our first balloon ride and we were so amazed at how much fun it was! Highly recommend Jeff & crew at Rocky Mtn Balloon Rides!

Wow, what an amazing experience! Jeff and his crew were so awesome. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. Such a fun time all around. We were lucky enough to go on a day when a paraglider was going and were able to get some amazing shots. Jeff let us “drive” the balloon as well! Smooth take off and smooth landing. We ended the ride with a Champaign toast at the end and exchanged photos. I highly recommend booking with Jeff and his crew. You won’t regret it. Definitely booking with Jeff again! Thanks Jeff!

BREATHTAKING! This hot air balloon ride was such an amazing experience. Jeff was a great pilot with an immense amount of experience and knowledge. Jeff had coffee and breakfast snacks while setting up, which was such a sweet gesture. Also, he kindly let us sit in his car with the heat blasting so we wouldn't freeze while the balloon was blowing up. This was perfect for the cold morning and despite the cold weather, this ride was so worth it! What was great was that we had the basket all to ourselves since we were the only one signed up so private ride for a group rate, you cannot beat that!!!! The views are spectacular & that you can only get high up, so what better way! During the ride, Jeff educated on us on what he was doing and what gadgets he was working with. We landed safely and upon landing, Jeff brought out mimosas (or mimosas without OJ lol) and said the hot air balloon prayer. It was perfect way to end the whole thing and he even gave us suggestions for plans after since we were new to the area. Best way to start off the 2020 year!!

This review is a long time coming. My husband took me on a Rocky Mountain Balloon Ride late August 2017. It was easily one of my favorite experiences of my life so far. I've always been enamored with balloons, and the owner- Jeff's- enthusiasm was infectious. He was able to answer any possible questions we had about the balloon, balloon history etc. We were able to watch the balloon being assembled and felt safe and cozy in his absolutely gorgeous wicker basket and balloon. If you're thinking about going on a hot air balloon ride in the Denver area, go with Jeff. You won't regret it.

My sister and I decided to bring our family out for a hot balloon ride for my dad's 40th birthday. It had been something he has always wanted to do and seemed like the perfect time. We had a fabulous experience. Beautiful view. Smooth ride.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From beginning to end, my experience with Jeff was enjoyable and effortless. He helped make celebrating my boyfriend's birthday so special and was flexible with dates when scheduling our ride. He gave us a brief history lesson, fun facts, and joked around the whole time while maintaining a relaxing professional attitude that made our group feel safe. The champagne toast at the end to conclude our ride didn't hurt either! Jeff and his team are exceptional.

Jeff and crew were great. I had a wonderful time. Jeff is an excellent pilot. The basket is small and that was great, too... no over crowding, which helps with great viewing of the landscape. It was an awesome time and flying with wonderful other guest from other parts of the country was nice.

I had an awesome morning with Rocky Mountain Balloon rides. I was really nervous to do this but quickly felt comfortable and had a blast. Jeff has tons of experience and is a fun guy with great stories. We had a smooth take off and landing with about an hour flying in the air, close to 10 miles. Jeff’s your guy for an unforgettable experience!
